Terminaor, Is there any policy in having UGX mod features without implementing the mod? I need some BO special weapons and I'm trying to get the perk machines on/off working with jingles... But that things are locked up within UGX mod, so... could I borrow them?UGX-MOD features are designed for UGX-MOD. We didn't create them so they could be ripped from the mod. If you want UGX-MOD features then use UGX-MOD. Seen some people have strayed away from it, not sure why. If you would like to change something about the experience then do so, the mod is very open for user-editing. Otherwise we would have compiled all the scripts.
I just mean't that you are a specialist at detailing. ;)

Very elegant map, you definitely should combine it with ugx mod.
The map looks to be WW2 themed, so adding modern weapons would probably derail the feel and flow of the map.Good point... I guess if he doesn't strictly stay with stock style then ugx style would be cool.
Lot of progress done this week. I will update the screenshots soon. For the weapons part, I like to preserve that ww2 feel, but I'm trying to add weapons that are not just the der riese ones.

I was planning on add the BO m1911, but gotta say I got scared cause there are so many different colts in the mod that I didn't want to mess up the default presets of the game and all that stuff. You know, the zombie_colt, regular colt, dirty_harry...Do you have an ETA bro? Im dying to play this map
For the zombie question, well If you want I can post an image. I used many models and stuff that were inside the WaW files but probably cut from the never finished british campaign. Don't get too excited tough, I didn't wanted to have BO2 looking zombies.

Not dust my friend, not dust. Map its almost finished, but I'm working on stuff like anims and scripts that can't be shown in pics or so. But don't worry, I expect to release the first version soon enough to test what people want. Even though my comment was obviously tongue in cheek and you guys didn't seem to get it, this WIP started on December 2013 so it's about 6 months longer than my map anyway...:P But this map was breathtaking on the version I tried months ago, I can't wait to see the finished product.I think we all realised that it was tongue-in-cheek, we just didn't bother to reply with anything letting you that we got it :troll:.

The thing is that I'm kind of stuck cause of the damn dogs. The stairwell that leads to pack a punch just bugs the hell out of dogs and also I can't seem to make players die when they fall using solo quick revive. These are obviously stupid issues, but they have me completely demotivated to do anything else before fixing this.
Anyway, the thing is that when i fix this I will have to do the easter egg and oh god how much do I hate the image limit.
- Zombies are sucked by some pathnodes in two specific points of the map (a door and a vending machine)
- You survive when using Solo Quick revive and falling from map
- Novas (Crawlers) spawn before power on

the benches in the courtyard are a bit annoying with only being a foot high but still have a clip that cant be jumped over, apart from that and the nova crawler explosions it was an excellent map with good layout and detail and good weapon ports, better than a 3arc map :)yea them novas...

Problem with shaders it's to do with the map feeling. I don't think bo2 shaders are adequated for this map so I tried to make some look more like ww2 type. The problem is that they look pretty boring. For the powerup shaders I added new ones inspired in the german helmet decals that I think you could like. Any suggestions on how to make the perk ones are welcome

PD: Also, for the sights thingie on the weapon you are right. But, the weapon I used as base also has the same problem when aiming trough sights in the original game it came from. ;)

The fact that you have all this custom stuff ON TOP of EE and an amazing looking map just leaves me speechless. We are ultimating the last two steps of the EE. I planned to release the beta before EE and then ask if people want it, but we got so into it that now it would make no sense to stop ATM. XD

Yup, G:Spawn is my new enemy. An in-depth study made me realize that the fire trap alone was using like 30 entities when active, making g:spawn too easy to be achieved. So, I had to take a painful decision and remove the fire trap.The real question is: Can I ride it?
I replaced it with a brand new one, which maybe is not that spectacular, but it uses only two or 4 entities. :P

Good news everyone. Scripting is finished. Therefore, Alpha is finished as well. Now I have to make some tests of my own to sharpen up some stuff and then the closed beta.
Why I'm I saying this while actually I'm not publishing anything or releasing stuff? Mostly cause I wanted you guys now this is now real and map is done at last. I'll keep you posted
And finally, it is out. Just finished last tweaks and the first Beta (of course the private one is ready). Gonna assemble a team to test the map in the following days and hope that I would be able to adress most issues and requests.

I found out that dogs might make the EE super hard cause they break death combos for chests and so on and also they bug out sometimes in some jumping traverses. Also, The damn dogs sometimes just dont spawn the last one, so you get stuck in thier round without being able to progress. So, what do u think? Remove the dogs? Fix them? Improve them? Pet them?
