so why are you concerned about t4m?

What do you mean? Im not concerned just, it works with t4m and not without. Idk why and I wanted to have it in my installer so its easier to play without copying the dll manual

You should try to manage your limits better,levithan was a huge and feature rich map and it didn't need it.

I dont have reached any limit, if the "vanila" ugx mod tools dont. I didnt add anything custom yet and I tried already a lot to fix that but nothing worked. The ugx asset counter says that i have only about 150 fx

Hey guys,

after I counldnt solve my 400fx problem, i decided that i want to play the map with the t4m mod. I dont want that every user has to install it by theirself so I want to put the .dll into the installer. My question now is, how can i put the dll into the installer? I want that it extract the dll automatic in the root folder and not into the mods folder with the map. Any idea? Also Im thinking about add more custom fx and stuff, so i will need the mod anyway, i dont want to miss something.

There are other reasons for this error but if it works with t4m, then you are just over the limit. The main fix for this is the singles fix. Once you have successfully done that, delete the mod in the mods folder where you play the game from, not your root folder, then compiled and built mod again.

I already did the single fix method and i deleted the mod from the Local/activision.. folder, nothing helped. Maybe the console can give answers, but Im not into it so i cant say if it does.

Maybe i forgot something because i use the cod project mover with the ugx mod, is it possible that i have to do it on a different place with other files?

I now tried out the tut, both options. No one worked and I still dont know why. I put every weaponfile into the fx cleaner. I dont have any clue anymore and hope that someone can help me. Also I didnt add any custom fx.

Hey guys,
I posted already that I can fix the 400fx error only with the t4m mod. After I tried the map out on another Pc i got the error again. Is there anyone who has a clue how to fix the error?

hey guys,

after i started my map for first time, I got some errors. The map said me that i had to have at least 2 dog spawner and 2 riser and there didnt spawn any zombies, the round just went high. I watched how to set that up and did it. Then i tried it out and got the error again and there didnt spawn any zombies again. Then I thought that it may works with a zone, which i set up and tried to add it to the .gsc file in root/raw/maps/mapname.gsc. But the file isnt there, only a mapname.radtrans and a mapname.d3dbsp. I tried to compile it anyway and I still have the error and i cant move anymore away from the spawn.

Hey guys,

after i got the Exceeded limit of 400fx! error and nothing ive found (also in the wiki) helped out, it worked with the fix in the first answer

okay i will try,  but why there are so many maps with the vanilla sounds and custom weapon sounds?
Edit: I deleted now many sounds and i have only 1400 lines left in that file, but still geting the error..

Now I did also check with the "asset counter" my assets and the tool says me that i have 1371 loaded sounds of max 1600. So what i can do?

I solved the problem! I searched a while and I had u comment out a line. It the

But now i got the 400fx error and i again neither add any fx neither did something wrong and i have only about 160 fx's..

Hey guys,

I was trying my map first time and i got this error: Exceeded limit of 1600 sounds!
I read the wiki tutorial very carefully and follow all the steps. I know that there are point to solve that and i did them, but it doesnt work for me. I neither add ANY sounds neither forgott to rename the mapname_ignore. This specific line in the mapname file isnt even there in my case (idk why). So is there maybe something else i can do?

Ive read that in some forums too, but it didnt help. Anyway I solved that: The launcher was set in Win7 compatibility mode (why ever) and i turned off that. Now its works without getting that error. But with my bad luck i got the same errors while compiling the map as at thet beginning. I think i will just build a new one.
