Easter eggs mean nothing to some people (me included)
I couldnt care if a map had a 27 step super EE with a massive reward and endgame, if the gameplay of the map is bad, I wont enjoy it

Agreed, gameplay, map flow, and overall aesthetics of a map are usually how I judge if a map is good or not.

So a friend of mine with similar computer specs to me keeps getting texture glitches that make it so difficult to see that it's unplayable. I however have not had these issues. We both have T4M, Same Settings. We moved his settings to the lowest possible settings and still have issues.

Any thoughts?

Make sure his drivers are up to date.

Read the topic - if your game crashes it's becuz u dont have t4m - if you do have t4m and it crashes, it's something on your end.

Turning off Spec maps/ Reducing Normal & Spec map quality seems to help if T4M is installed, I haven't had any issues with spec maps being on, but a few friends have. Fiddle with the texture settings until they work and if it still doesn't well, maybe it's time for an upgrade.

because we like to goof off....like whats the harm in enabling it an letting people do what that want in solo? we play it properly but that only gives people so much fun until that gets boring when that does i use cheats to goof off an just do whatever for a game or two then go back to playing properly.

It's really just up to the person that makes the map, if you ask and they decline, oh well, there's no point in going on about it. I get wanting to screw around, but you can understand why someone wouldn't want people to just break the balance of the map that they so meticulously tested and made over countless hours. There are plenty of maps that you can cheat on, why focus on just one out of many because it doesn't have a certain feature?

Really really love this map, been playing it nonstop the last 3 days. The only issue I have is that the M.A.S.T.E.R. of Death makes all of the bosses a joke. Other than that the map is perfect. I hope that we will be able to play past 25 soon.

I spent most of yesterday learning how to map, in some ways it's easier than DoomBuilder, other ways harder.


I'm deciding to release my first map because why not right? Standard Box map but I think I did the lighting rather well.

Issues: Quick Revive in solo does not work yet, I need to learn how to do so, and some minor clipping issues with the zombies and the perk machines, which I can fix obviously.

Some know me as Tim, but you can call me Enchanter.

I am new here to this forum, although I've had an account for a little while.
I am not however, new to modding. While my area of expertise is modding in the DOOM engine, I really want to get into making maps for World at War.
In fact, Call of Duty Zombies is probably the reason that I started in the first place. I started making sprites (2D Graphics) for a Zombies mod for DOOM called Doom Zombies 2, which can be found here:
My contributions included these sprites, and also Kino Der Toten and Nacht Der Untoten remakes that I am porting over to the other mod due to major differences in level code.

I then moved on to work on a more well coded and structured mod simply titled Nazi Zombies : Doom Edition, which can be found here:
Then over the course of a few years my work began to improve, as you can see by these sprites.

I also have made sprites for mods such as Project Brutality, Brutal Wolfenstein, and Insanity's Requiem. And I hope that I can also contribute something great to this community, although it may take some time to make up for the technical debt I have accrued from working with a 20+ year old game engine.

If one wants to use this alongside something like ReShade, which also uses a d3d9 dll, what would be the best course of action? I have tried merging the libraries using ILMerge but ILMerge for some reason cannot load/read the T4M dll file, and I have no clue how to use LoadLibrary() API to load the files manually. Any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated, Thanks.
