Regular zombie spawners dont actually need barriers. Theres info about making the spawners "windowless" here https://www.ugx-mods.com/forum/help-desk/10/zombies-and-traverse/9021/msg99027#msg99027 You also need the kvp's script_string zombie_chaser. I've done this method before and it works
Oooooooo I really appreciate this info. Got it working and it's better for what I need at the moment!
(I've got multiple floors so if another player was on the floor below it would be weird seeing riser dirt particles come through the ceiling.)

There are two types of zombies:
  • Risers
  • Barriers
Barrier zombies need barriers to move through first before it can do something.
Risers however automatically go after the players without using the barrier.

Long story short, you need risers for windowless barriers.
The issue has been fixed!
I didn't know the barrier spawners needed the whole barrier to make it into the map. In hindsight that makes a lot more sense now.

Fairly new mapper here.

I'm trying to put a windowless barrier onto my map.

I have the wall_hop_zombie prefab and the entry_noboards prefab set up, the zombies walk up to it but don't cross over the barrier and instead stand idle. The game also freezes for a second before they make it to the barrier.
It seems like I'm missing something but I don't know what, and I couldn't find any tutorials anywhere for this in relation to WaW.

Any help would be appreciated. :)
