I absolutely love the aesthetic of this map! I've liked angular, blocky designs and even while using the same texture, it looks superb in your map. Also the lights are super interesting and they really complete the look. I can't wait to see what you do with this :D

Quick question - are there any guides out there to give your map more of a prototype feeling? I want the ambience sounds and stuff like that like in the style of nacht der untoten since I always thought they were more eerie (and better).

Wow that looks promising, it really looks nice. I am only wondering how you are going to chance it more into a zombie map cause for now it really doesn't have the vipe, also the spawn era need to go somewhere. But the idea and how you worked it out just really works and I am exited to play this map.
I'll make it more darker but I really need to think about logical ways a player would realistically get from one building to another.

here's a video with the map's current state. A lot of progress has been after an activity spike of a few weeks but I'm a bit burnt out on mapping at the moment so I probably won't revisit this map for a few more weeks. Next time I work on it, I'm going to have to add zombiemode features and work out the layout of the map properly (for gameplay).

With any picture/video updates from now on, I'll be adding them to the original post.

here's a map I've been working on that takes place on top of 5 skyscrapers.
the scale/size of the map is a bit weird because I haven't used any reference photos or ideas but I think it'll be fine.

the map will most likely be prototype style with extra stuff but for now I need to detail it and add zombiemode things so it actually works for zombies (nodes, barriers etc etc).
also side note, radiant pics only because the lighting looks reallyyy bad at the moment, I'm so bad at lighting :/

the images are from all the buildings in the map but they're really small parts, I'll try and show some ingame screens soon when I can get the lighting to be somewhat decent.

Okay, the map is really nice but you're map is so buggy it's unbelievable. I'm sorry if this has been said before but the bugginess really took away from the realism. First of all, there are countless models/brushes that are noncollide/not clipped- kinda dissapointing. Second, during the higher rounds, all 4 of us (in our team of 4) could stand at the top of the map and no zombies hit us. Zombies would hit us in the lower parts of the maps but we were pretty much invincible :/ it made it wayyy too easy. Thirdly, if you camp in the lift zombies bug out and don't do anything. Fourthly - is that a word? Anyway, some perks had buggy perk shaders (shitty perk shaders/low res) and ammo-matic I swear never gave me any ammo...
Lastly, we completed the easter egg, filled up the canisters with purple goo, pressed the radio, killed 4-5 panzers that spawned and then it went blurry. After that, we had a cutscene with a really un-smooth camera and a helicopter that teleported from one position to the other with no animation. Then, the game fucking crashed with some minigun error... Kinda sucked after we sunk 2 hours into the ee and the map. Oh and also I got stuck in the elevator earlier on in the game - luckily I had those random thing grenades and I teleported out. One more thing, is the playable area covering the entire map? It felt like in some areas powersup NEVER spawned...
Anyway, aside from these issues, the map visually is stunning, there's obviously some great mapping and texturing that's gone on, great work. The guns and the shaders and just about everything works together very well and makes cod5 feel like something it's not (that's a good thing). Well done. Just a shame about that whole selling this map thing that went on a while ago or whatever.

p.s fucking 4 perk limit isn't funny

This is a really nice idea, throwing in parts of maps. Even if you don't get the detail or recreation spot on, it'll be really fun to explore.

We should be able to consider PM's a safe way of conversating.. There is a reason it's not viewable to anyone but recievers and those who sent them.
Welp, UGX seems to be only suggesting to change your password. Also if Mikey had the database, permbanning him wouldn't stop him from doing anything  :poker:

Um... passwords that may have been used on several sites, pay-pal info, IP adresses, personal conversations.
Hashed password that need 4-5 years of bruteforce (trem said this  :poker:), pay-pal info... LIKE YOUR NAME (oh god). IPs can be ddossed yeah but it wouldn't make sense for Mikey just to ddos some people, he has no motive. And then PMs, if you put anything in PMs that could ruin your life it's your own fault- this is a zombie forum ;-;

edit- most IPs are dynamic too so  :derp:

Anyway, do what you want, but nobody would bruteforce 200k passwords so changing your password is useless. Anyway, if you trusted mikey to design for UGX, you can trust his apology and move on.

He could just check for the accounts that match what he is looking for. Besides, some people will go far with these things, you never know.
If you're talking about PMs, 219k PMs.. He'd have fun with that.
I'm guessing PMs text files aren't conveniently named "Exofile Assets" (unless they are, i don't really know).
And if it's with IPs or anything else really, mikey literally doesn't want a thing from UGX, no money, no assets, no private info.
He said he's done with everything.
