That's horrible advice, he should not need to add the xmodelalias for the stock zombie models to his mod  :facepalm:

easiest way to fix those errors: copy the files from raw/(FOLDER SPECIFIED)/(FILE) into mods/(MAP NAME)/(FOLDER SPECIFIED)

Hi Guys,

I was trying to convert a model with a physicspreset, but AssMan gives me two weird errors.

1. When i try to select the physicspreset file, it says:
(Image removed from quote.)

Alright Assman, i did what you asked me. So when I press F10 to convert the model, after I moved the file to share/main/physic/, it says:
(Image removed from quote.)

I can't get this error to disappear. Anyone else had this problem before, and knows how to solve it?

umm try reading :troll: it is wanting you to copy the file into root/share/main/physic
you are going to have to make the folders. ass man has diffrent places for diffrent types. there are like a total of 4 that ive found that require putting the files into a new directory

thats easy, just remove or shorten the crawler's clip raw\phys_collmaps\MODELNAME

what do you mean by jump crawlers? do u mean the crawlers from moon and kino or do u mean crawlers that have their legs blown off and jump to get around?

Sorry, the lighting in this screenshot doesn't really show it. See where the black is at the very end? There's supposed to be a continuation of the hallway there; instead, it just cuts off until I get closer to it.
did you try to portal it? also this tends to happen when u have close to a limit on brushes or models or etc

I exported zombie models and anims from maya before, so I followed the same process for this flag.
sorry didnt read the whole text... so hmm are u sure that when you exported the anim, you went "edit > select > hiarchy"? and then export. Also make sure the model in the ass man is the same model u want it to play on. Like i said earlier, if you still cant get it, it may be best to go on skype

ai anims dont use the same setup as (what i like to call static anims). Ill see if i can find the settings for ai anims.

edit: From what i can remeber they use the delta animtype

your images are broken. By chance is the model your trying to affect a misc model? because if so it wont work. Also make sure the asset manager has it as animated not rigid. Another thing that could be the issue is if your using the script i gave in the other forum. That script works on only one model. Ill feel happy to edit it so it affects multiple

ive always played lowest settings so i dont know any different, it doesnt bother me much tbh, FR only bothers me on certain maps, comosea actually being one, but i hear requiem has been portaled well.
I always have my settings on the lowest rates because it allows me to load all the model i want and untill theres like 70 million verts, frame rate isnt low. I will only change it when im doing a video or running to make sure everything looks good on high specs

remove it from body and place it at the top and also make sure its found in mods/MAPNAME/animtrees/

If you cant get that to work, i added u on skype so i could help you. but you can always make a new animtree and change this line:

make sure ur animtree is a csv and the only line in it is the anim. those headers like "body" are only needed for character anims
