could you link me a tut for this, or explain to me how to hide sections into layers?

so my radiant is getting laggy, an is making it harder to place models an objects etc. when moving things its choppy an skips alot. is there a way to increase the usable resources for radiant, like how much ram is used for it or something?>

main #1 yes have restarted, yes i have closed all programs out of the only 3, rest are system processes. I'm vary computer savy, and am sure this error is being caused by something other then my ram. compiling only consumes about 50% or less processing power, and about .20Gb of ram. Have LOTS of unused memory.
// edit: yup it was the noose, took a bit to select all 128 parts of my rope to delete it, had to make a box over it and select touching to select it all. but that was my problem... :) so now need to find a way to make a prop look like he hanging dead.
buut its compiling like before now.

A 1 select targetname don't do anything... like all the other options. broken radiant?

A 2 it is a dmg trigger, can't seam to get it to work tho.

A 3 probably not, how would i do that? kvp I'm assuming.

so I'm having this compile error after 46% of light grid compiling.
"Small hunk ran out of memory attempting to alloc 24 bytes"
I've searched it up not much out there about it. everything is pointing to my PC's system memory, witch I'm doubting cause I have 1.4Gb used out of 8Gb  of ram during compile. i only have 3 background apps running, witch i have killed their processes an still getting this error. last night I made noose rope for a detail model, an added some more hellhound spawn points, haven't messed with any lights. so why the light grid? my noose has lots of parts, and is horrible-ish as its my first model like object i've made. if that's the issue is their a prefab of one? also i have a few other questions.
#1 how could i select a large amount of items at once? non of the selecting options do anything when i try to use?

#2 how should i go about making a damage trigger for a door, tuts haven't exampled it. and tired of list-filtering through video with annoying guys rambling an not being on spot on what they are doing.

#3 How to make a D2 material for a background image? can't seam to find a tut thats focused on converting image rather then installing it. way i see it, make image, then install to mod. only finding install to mod BTW you need to make it a 2d material first.. I'm wtf that's mean... lol

#4 I've also made a zombie trap with zombies linked to a Multi_trigger, they spawn right, but they dont attack. just stand there like they have no goal, or path nodes(witch are in place).

so i can't make newer lights in my map. I also can't copy a working one, the copies wont work. everything was fine tell i was starting to add more lights an didn't like what i had, so i selected them an backspaced. well now i can make new ones. what could have i messed up?

tried to upload some screens, but after the 10th failure i gave up. lol so let me know how else i can pass some kvp info over with out having to write them all down?

an update to my situation, I can make new lights, an they work. I can not make them a Primary/spot like by targeting a reflection prob. i already have a few copies of the original that work. but i can not make new or copy the working to make another. have i exceeded a limit of some sort or what?

coder203 here, I'm a fellow developer trying to make a comeback. I used to develop BIN&MIPS cheat-codes for the PSP console in my early years under the alias(XD_sniper_XD)  the main game i developed codes for was syphon filter Logans Shadow. I also was under the Development of a CFW(Custom Firmware -X16) for the PSP console. saddly my all my source files were lost do to a nasty MBR virus my pc caught. lost a total of 750gb of precious data, including X16's source files... lost my coding spirit after that.

Well its back, Well here i am. treading new waters. this time I'm mapping it out, an scripting it in. I'm sure after some time I'll get a script out here. but as for now, a map is on the way.

The Map I'm under the development of is a custom zombie map called HellsPlayground for COD WAW.
This map is a challenge & puzzle map with tons of secrets, a mind boggling maze and a deadly design.
This map is under development with with the intention to confuse, distract an allow the players to be killed.
and lots more....

So this is who I am, and What I'm up to.

try reinstalling your mod tools. i just had to do it like 12 times to fix my tools cause i messed up ugx standalone install somehow. don't forget to install ugx patch an most importantly don't forget to click convert in launcher be for first use.

no my traverse is there, installed UGM standalone. lol an now all sorts of problems are coming up. lots of research to do to fix these issues now.  my menu got changed an now is broken... console is broken, no text at all. an solo launch is broke aswell like 12 other issues

OK so I have found out something wired, so this problem started from selecting all the objects, an copying them to make new windows. So I broke one down an if I remove the red clip from the outside of the window. They seam to work. But I find this a possible future problem tho. Being as that clip was there originally for a purpose right?

hey there, Im coder203. Im new to this world of mapping an modding. Looking for some assistance with my map Im making. ok to start off its built off of sniper bolts tut map. I've simply been modifying it, Ive turned it into a multi level(floor) map. Im having some issues with its traverse/negotiations for window barricades. Ive tried replacing the prefabs, relocating pathnodes, rearranging the prefab to fit the window. ai_shownodes doesn't show anything wrong in the area. but shows that they are not connected also doesn't show that they are connected either.

My zombies will go to the window, tare the boards down, then stand there for a few seconds an then walk off to the next window witch does work an use it.
Ive looked trough the forums for a solution an couldn't find an answer to my problem that's relevant to my map an issue. so here i am, looking for some help.

My map is fairly large an has more then one floor, but only has one zone for the time being.
Ill see if i can make a duplicate of the issue area to send for analysis.
its going to be a new challenge map, with lots of secrets, tricks an dead ends.
