So a friend of mine with similar computer specs to me keeps getting texture glitches that make it so difficult to see that it's unplayable. I however have not had these issues. We both have T4M, Same Settings. We moved his settings to the lowest possible settings and still have issues.

Any thoughts?

Trying to start making my first custom map.

I've searched high and low on google.

Root folder isn't read only,
Running Launcher as Administrator,
I believe I have all the correct .NET frameworks and C++ versions installed (new to windows, but I think I got that),
Running windows 10

Still getting the common errors.
from launcher: FAILED TO EXECUTE: asset_manager

from bin: The application has failed to start because its side-by-side configuration is incorrect.

My next step is to just start from absolute square 1, but if someone can help me verify I'm not missing something it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, I'm looking forward to putting out some sick maps for everyone.

Through a miracle, it just started working. uninstalled and reinstaled C++ for the 4th time and i t worked.

Not really sure if anyone's solved this, but Anytime I try to play this map I get errors that images are missing. I can grab the exact console text when I try next time. The strange part is, I have another computer with the same specs (I'm bootcamping on a macbook pro) that doesn't have this issue. Any thoughts?
