Hi all. It's been a while since I did anything mapping related but I've been trying to figure out how I could get my custom hud to show craftable parts that have been picked up. I remember seeing something a few years back but I can not seem to find it on any of the guides I've found. Attached is a picture of what I'm on about as I don't actually know what it is called.

Rise & Fall
Hello once again guys. So a map I was working on for world at war I have decided to move it to Black Ops 3. The map is slightly based on the world at war multiplayer map Dome. I plan to add my own ideas and twists to the map and hopefully will have the main area mapped in the next month or two.

There is a playable version of the map on the steam workshop but its not a full map. There might be some bugs and certain models that are not clipped. Enjoy the W.I.P and any ideas or tips are welcome. Feel free to message me on here or steam  :) "link bellow for map"

So I'm just going to post this. I reckon the first few maps people make with the bo3 mod tools will be a box map and probably the giant re-textured or in day light.

Whats everyone else's thoughts?

So i tried using smooth bind in maya and some parts of my character model are stretching. Does anyone have any tips or good settings in maya that will work well with smooth bind? I'm using maya 2015 if that's helpful

Well I thouhgt i would post some screen shots of these to see what people think.  They use the official Black Ops 2 anims converted to world at war and also have the knifing animation that you can do with the upgraded staff's like in origins. I plan to use these in one of the maps I have stored away on my hard drive. They don't actully work as you would excpect but sooner or later i'm sure there will be something. Any help with a weapon script would be lovely as i cant script :alone:

So I ported all the staff xmodels to world at war and they look pretty good. Now I have one question about the staffs. As all the staffs are in separate pieces e.g. The crystal top of the staff and the bottom, would I have to script the anims or could I just convert the bo2 ones to work in world at war. I've ported character models, weapons "galil,m1927" and plentry of other models bit I'm unsure about the staffs. any help would be excellent :)

Shrink ray
Wave/zap guns

I already have the Raygun and The Mk2 version and i can't decide on the other 4 wonder weapons. There is a poll so feel free to vote on what your favourite is.

Right before someone say's make sure you're running it as admin, and change the compatibility already done that when the tools where first installed. Anyone I can compile the map i can build IWD's but when i tick build mod.ff fastfile i keep getting the error stated above "-1073741819". Now i could just reinstal the game and modtools but thats a pain and i dont really fancy trying to find half the models and textures that i already converted. Any help would be great

So I have not found much about this anywhere and I was wondering if anyone has managed to change them. I am using my own ported versions of the origins crew and i would like to have the correct sounds/voices with them. I already have the quotes i want to use so if anyone can point me in the right area that would be great :)

I looked in DLC3,vox in zone source but did not find anything obvious.

Hello everyone. As the title suggests I'm looking to add two more weapons to my custom map Mars. Now I have had  a few people request that an-94 but I don't have die rise. If anyone can suggest some weapons they would like then that would be great. The map has All the core BO1 zombie weapons Apart from the m27 law and the chain lake.

Any help would be really helpful :)

So recently i was following a tutorial on youtube about making treyarch dual sync weapons and it turns out maya 2014 doesnt support any tanim pluggins  :-\. My question is can someone help me out with 4 dual wield weapons? I did have maya 8.5 on my old pc but it no longer works. The weapons I would like dual wield are:
HS10
M1911
PM63
CZ75

Incase anyone is wondering its for my upcoming map Mars and the map is going to use BO1 weapons.

Another question i have as well is with weapon sights from bo1. I can't for the life of me figure out why the redot sight from black ops 1 doesnt aim properly on the galil that i ported to world at war a while back.

Due to a data loss I lost most of the fetures in this map. I have a test map that i was using different fetures on to test them out. Anyway Been using Harry's perks version 5.0.1 and his mystery box one as well. Any i might merge this map into another one i have. UPDATE 3
So recently i have been createing normal spec and cos maps for models that i have ported to world at war. Not a lot has been done on the mapping side at the moment as the areas I have created most of the models don't look right with the lighting. Slowly sorting these little problems out but should take too long.

So I have now put all the main BO1 Zombie weapons in apart from the china lake and the m72Law. I have decided that I will include 2 more weapons from BO2 or BO1 MP Weapons. If you have a weapon idea then please leave a response :)

UPDATE 1
So I decided to test widows wine out and I'm not overly happy with it. It works as it should but I'm having issues with the hud I'm using and custom grenades. For now widows is not in the map but I might change that later on in development

Intro for the map:

After you destroyed the moon at Griffin Castle "der eisendrache" Richtofen has revived word that Group 935 has another base of opperation on mars. Richtofen never knew about this but was certian that group 935 would do something like this as they had a fascination about space.

What the map will be like:

As you can see from the screenshots bellow the map will be going for the same effect Moon did in black ops 1. Alot of the models i'm using are from Moon, Five and Ascension. The map will have a orange tint to most things as it is mars. My goal for this map to achieve is to be as good and unique as moon but have a lot more detail and areas to go to.

I'm not entirely sure where to post this but here's a thought. Recently I've rigged the main characters from the map Five Call of the Dead and the space suit from moon. I've also ported a few weapons across such as the rpk famas m16 m14 spas12 and so on. I've also created pack a punch versions for these guns as well.

Would the ugx community like me to release them as a .ff that your could install like Harrybo2's perks.

What I have so far:
All Five characters fully rigged
All call of the dead characters fully rigged
Moon Characters rigged with moon helmet and without
Most of the main zombie weapons such as Rpk hk21 galil etc
Moon Call of the dead and five zombies all working correctly

Wonder weapons so far. Only models not scripts for them to work.
Scavenger and pack a punch version
Thunder Gun and pack a punch version
Gersh Device
