Hey everyone,
 
 
This issue is something I had for a while and I had no idea what went wrong. Finally, after closely examining it, I figured it out.
 
THIS ISSUE WON'T HAPPEN TO EVERYONE.
HOWEVER, IF YOU'RE THE RARE PERSON WHO GETS IT, HERE IS A SOLUTION.
THIS IS ALSO FOR ME INCASE I FORGET IN THE FUTURE :)
 
There is a solution to sounds that I have figured out while thinking about what Skye said in his FAQ section.
Incase anyone out there is having issues with sounds of certain firearms not working in your maps, first do the following:
 
 
Download ALL Weapon Common Assets that Skye has included and Re-Link on launcher.
 
 
Now this was something he mentioned in his FAQ's but make sure to do that. This also fixes textures.
 
If your weapons still don't have sound,
 
 
Check your launcher for an error that has this filename:

ERROR /_t9_elemental_pop.csv missing

The code will be very similar to this.
 
Now, I have no idea what this code is for. For me personally, it is useless and so I decided to remove it.
 
Before removing it, I searched through my entire HDD to see if a file like this exists but it doesn't.
(If you have a different code and it says it cant find the sound, simply try to add the missing sound to Black Ops III/share/raw/sound/aliases or remove the line of code entirely if the sound isn't even necessary for your map or you are not able to locate it anywhere)
 
 
Find your zm_mapname/sound/zoneconfig/zm_mapname.SZC
 
 
and remove this line:

After removing it, re-link your map in the launcher and Build.
 
 
Should fix the sound issues.
 
Ofcourse, this fix should only be tried if you already have done everything mentioned in the FAQ's.
This fix is also pretty specific but NO ONE has mentioned this before so I am leaving this here.

Pose manipulator does not work right for me ever...
Not much to explain. Image says all.
One thing to note is they are script models instead of misc models due to errors in Launcher.

When you try to sign in, it says authentication failure and it does not allow you to change your password because the site is on sale or something lol Does anyone know if this is working or not?

Things to keep in mind:

- THIS MAP IS CALLED BOXCHALLENGE WHEN YOU INSTALL IT
- If zombies turn WHITE, RE-INSTALL THE MAP. I don't know what causes them to turn white.
- Recommended playing CO-OP [Way more fun]
- Specular map makes the viewhands shiny, but makes the map look better
- Some guns do not have custom camos after PAP
- Follow the objectives there quite easy ;)
- Everything in the map is intentional. Everything around the map and the weapons. Nothing is game breaking. ;)
- Do NOT turn off Power. It cannot be turned back on after.

So after attempting to install Die Rise Zombie Models, I got an error for a HUD by JR-Imagine. Not sure why that was in the zombie models so then I was forced to install the MOTD HUD which I like anyways but after all of that,

I get this  error in Launcher and when I start the game:

So the name of this topic is a little strange only because I thought this is what people would search up to find the problem I have. Here is what the issue looks like:



Black Gun: Now I realize maybe its a texture missing from the gun? But I tried reinstalling the textures/images into RAW, but it did nothing. What else could I do here?  :-\

Scope Too Bright: As you can tell, Specular map is making my scope look extremely bright and I can't find the cause for it. Maybe the lighting in my map is too Dense? But taking of specular map fixes it however, it makes the rest of the map look really dark  :(

Now, there is also another issue you can most likely see in the image but I don't really see that being a manditory fix atm I just need to fix the gun issues.

What's up guys back at mapping again for a little bit and as I come back I get this funky error which I know I saw before in the past from my mapping experience and have fixed it but I can't seem to fix it this time.

I will list the things that I have done for this map so far:

- I use Script Placer Z the newest version
- I made a basic layout of the map with spawns, spawners, 1 zone, 1 perk, 1 custom gun, etc for a test
- I compiled AFTER making the basic layout and I built mod AFTER everything else
- 1 custom gun in the game not sure if that would effect this file whatsoever, but it was also made as a starting pistol with Script Placer Z
- Settings for Script Placer Z includs custom start screen buttons (Which you will notice in the background of the images that it did not work) Custom intro text, no dogs and no dog rounds, viewhand model changed, starting weapon changed, amount of perks (Set to 8 maybe its this?)

Hey guys, hope you enjoy this tutorial on how to make textures glow like in QUIZZ V2.

WRITTEN TUTORIAL:

1. Grab an image you like, change size to 1024x1024 and save it as a DDS. Make sure the name is simple. (Kittenz)
2. Drag the DDS file into your World At War Directory/Raw/Images
3. Open up launcher and go to ASSET MANAGER
4. Create a GDT if you don't already have one and if you do open it up and highlight *MATERIAL* in the main box.
5.Now go to NEW ENTRY and type in the exact name you gave your custom .DDS image (Example: Kittenz)
6. Once created, your options on the right MUST BE like so:

MaterialType = World Unlit
SurfaceType = Up to you
Usage = Up To You
(MAKE SURE YOU TICK DECAL)
BLENDFUNC = BLEND


7. Now once you get to COLOR MAP, hit the browse button (The three little DOTS) then navigate to your Raw/Images
8. Select your .DDS custom image (Kittenz.DDS)
9. Under Color Map, there will be an option such as [tile both*], ignore that but to the right there will be another box. Make sure that one is selected to [MIP MOST EXPENSIVE {4x Trillinear}] then to the right of that more there will be a small box you can tick that says [NOPICMIP] make sure that's ticked aswell. This is all for BEST RESULTS AND GLOW.

10. Now go to the top right and hit PC CONVERT and then [CONVERT CURRENT ASSET ONLY]. Please watch video for an example of what it must look like when the console pops up.

11. Now go back to your RAW/IMAGES
12. Scroll down or search up your images name. In this example, mine is (Kittenz). This file should now have an .IWI version AND a .DDS.

13. Grab the IWI and copy and paste it into your mods/nazi_zombie_mapname/images
14. Open up launcher, go to mod builder and tick the image in the IWD list. DO NOT BUILD MOD JUST YET.
15. OPEN UP RADIANT and APPLY  the new texture to your map.
16. SAVE, COMPILE AND BUILD MOD.

THERE YOU GO!

Title says it all...

Unknown Item 'napalmblob'

When I run the game in Developer 1 this is what it gives me after it fails loading.
If I run the game normally in Dev mode "Devmap", it freezes my entire computer at 90% and doesn't unfreeze.

What kind of stupid ass error is this? I've NEVER seen this before. Neither have a ton of other people. What could it be?
I tried finding this file and I did, so I made a back up and removed it. It did absolutely NOTHING!

I hope someone can help. I literally just finished mapping my new Smile.JPG map and can't test it... This is pathetic...


Here's an image of what it's telling me the problem is... Usually it would help but I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT TO DO FROM HERE. I don't know what this is.

Alright, first I'm listing what I've tried so no one misses it. Please give me a better solution then what I've already tried and if it's the only thing you can list, give me detail on what to do EXACTLY because I tried almost everything:

1. Reinstalling Mod Tools
2. Reinstalling Game
3. Changing _Zombiemode.GSC to a clean one
4. Adding _Zombiemode_Spawners into maps/mapname/maps doesn't work
5. KVP's for Zombies, and Zones are perfect. Just like everyone elses. In fact I ripped out some zombie spawners and zones from someone elses map.
6. Nazi_Zombie_Mapname.GSC has all the zones properly imputed.


RISERS HAVE THE FIND_FLESH KVP!

Risers also don't work as I tried 3 months ago when zombies DID spawn BUT didn't move.



Just so I don't get people like "The only issue could be that your KVP's aren't right."  :poker:

I HOPE SOMEONE HELPS! I Really Want To Release/Work On My Maps! I've Put A Hold On One Of Them For Over 4 - 5 Months Now!!
