would it be possible to say model your own viewhands and then bind them to the already existing joints from a pair of viewhands?

ok so recently i modeled a weapon on my own and i am trying to animate it heres the problem the weapon has a really blocky  look in real life and on the model, so i want it to maintain that feel but when i export it i always have to average my normals, or else i will get an error, Object [bodyShape] has zero-length normals. for Face and Vertices, and the gun looks like crap, i was wondering if there was a workaround or solution, heres how much it affects the gun

 this is the error i get when i export my model i checked the normals and they all look fine to me

i know that the perk bottle are just weapon files my question is one how do you change the weapon files and two how do i make the weapon file like what animation i need if you can help please comment,

so after the player anim type there isnt really anything i can do? because ive tried changing that i havent tried all of them but ive tried a lotand they still havent worked

is there anyway i can make it so it looks correct when you hold a weapon in thirdperson, so your arms aren't just holding up air?

how can i like animate a model in maya like a perk machine and then get it into the game so that it actually plays the animation

ok so i ran into this problem and i know why its happening but i dont know how to fix it, but basically i used the cod 4 anims to match me weapon and exverything is fine except when i reload there is no clip just the body, so the hands just do the anim and thats it, the problem is my viewmodel when i exported it doesnt have the clip, just the body but when i export it from maya i have the clip mesh selected along with the tag clip joint, and i have force export selected joints. can anyone help me?

but in tom_bmx's utils the clip and the joints are all there

i got this error when i tried to export tag_clip and the clip mesh

yeah but i didnt export it because i dont have cod 4
