Afterlife
Fix the past for a better tomorrow

Storyline: This story is based on a dying father that tries to right his wrongs to live a better afterlife. "I love you dad, rest easy." The final words I heard my own child utter as my life and body lifelessly pulls from existence. As my body continues to pull me I feel my mind pulling me in a separate direction. I've only heard so much of these experience as a child, I never would have thought it would become reality. This is my opportunity to fix my mistake and become a better man for a better afterlife.

Current Ideas:
Bare with the ideas, copy/pasted straight from a notepad and cba to clean it up for now. I did remove some ideas though to keep them secret  :-X

Reminder: None of these pics represent the final product, there's still tons of work to be made.
- My current idea for the map is current day, so will be featuring some weapons from bo1-ghosts, and then some.
- Sort of a downside, I never had a solid theme going into this so for now I'll be freeballing things

Random stuff: Harddrive corrupted some time ago so I lost everything including my project 'Misfaith'. Finally working on a project I'd happily call my first release so I'll be working hard on making it the best I can. I have an idea for different bosses within the map, and one in particular I'd love if someone was able to make the five scientist for the map. Aside from all that the usual criticism (positive or negative) is welcome so don't be shy  :)

I made some mysterybox and powerup fx that I'm thinking about adding in my map and I wanted to also release them.
NOTE: This will replace the files for the fx, so make sure you have your own backup if you customized your own and want to keep them, if not I already added the backup files with the download, enjoy!

Hey guys, this is more of an idea that I realized. So far with all of the Bops DLC 4 zombies maps they've always gave us so much and made things look beautiful and fitting like always, but with their initial release there always tends to be buggy and glitchy, (Origins receiving the gold medal) but it feels like they're giving it their all in these final releases. And now watching Revelations there's plenty amounts of graphical issues and model rendering issues from time to time. I feel like this is them giving it their all, and maybe revelations can be used as a tool to see how much we're able to do before hitting limits. Just an idea that seems fitting correct me if I'm wrong though.

This all started yesterday when I figured I lost my map for good, but I managed to find a backup file which was 2 days old. But the thing is now, since then radiant has been crashing after about 20min and leaves my map empty (at least 80% gone) when I try to re-open it. What's causing this or why is it happening.

I tried a couple of things to fix this but then didn't work. I looked it up and couldn't find much except changing my sound scheme and theme but it didn't work. I can compile and building everything else but .ff

Misfaith
Was based on a real storyline

Story:
Out of respect/request I've changed the story behind the map, the replacing one is equal in mood, maybe a bit darker.


Planned Features:
- Custom Weapons
- Custom Perks
- Custom Powerups

- Custom PaP Camo
- Easter eggs (Main and smaller ones)
- Train
- Traps
- Double PaP
- Animated cutscene ending (to make my life easier if anybody has a C4D Rig of a zombie could you share  ::))

- Still need to fix some fx and lighting.
- Also changed the time of day and fog.

I want my first map to be more of an exciting release for me (and hopefully others too) so I'm partially taking my time, also recently had to slow down due to radiant glitches.

Note:
This is my first map so please give me any feedback possible, whether it's positive or negative, anything that will help me become a better mapper is appreciative. I've learned a lot since the start of this project and I've spent some time going back and fixing huge mistakes I've made. Also the map is pretty linear meaning to get to the next area you need to finish the ee step in that area.

When is try to run and test my map I just see random things where words or letters are supposed to be.



When you look at the picture imagine those random symbols everywhere where any type of word should be in-game
or in the client while my mod is loaded.

EDIT: forgot to mention that while this whole glitchy thing is happening I can't move in-game or anything and I can't shoot or use equipment or anything.

Just to be clear these are treyarch created zombies map, also what makes these maps your favorites?

My top 3 would have to be:
1.Origins
2.Mob of the Dead
3.Nacht der Untoten

I like these maps because they either brought something new and it was enjoyable, you were presented with a rather odd boss type of zombie, or because it's just a nice throwback map to play with friends.
