Important to know
 
(1)   First thing to know is, this map requires T4M tool to make the map playable because of the limits.
(2)   Second thing is to turn off:  'Specular Map' and 'Ocean Simulation' options in the Call of Duty - World at War Game. (Settings -> Graphics).
(3)   Maybe need to decrease the option: 'Number of Corpses' to 'Small' or 'Tiny'.
(4)   There are some bugs in this map, at the moment not much time to work on it but when possible do my best to fix these bugs.
(5)   Last thing to keep it short.  Maybe it can happen that the game crashes on loading screen don't worry, just try few more couple of times, if it doesn't work make sure you have running Steam or LanFixed version with the T4M enabled.

Story
 
The 4 survivors has found a way out to escape from the zombie horde with the red train and reached out a next station. They thought this place was a safer place than they thought, but apparently it was a fraud.
 
Now they have to prove themselves again if they can survive this zombie horde. But will they really be able to do that, who knows?

Bugs
 
Yes, maps can have bugs indeed. Also what I already mention above. I know there are some bugs and I will do my best to fix them when I have time for it :)
 
Some known issuesugs:
  • picking up coin bags to fast let the hud freeze on the screen.
  • Sentry turret placing issue on some sections of the area.
  • Ghost house not fully working function. Once activated, it can happen they go outside as well.
  • Guard dog is not available, but it can be a chance that it comes out of the care package. Don't pick it up!

Probably I have to use the T4M tool to increase the limit, because I have reached one limit type and within reducing that limit amount it didn't work.

Fixed some issues with the map itself.  
Restarting the map fixed.

I had to remove some Pointstreak items because of the limit of overflow (shaders), if there's way to fix it or increase it let me know ;) but if I got it right the limit is around 31.

I have added a Poll too, about if I should add my own Mod into this map too. (Possible for 2 versions, regular and mod version).

I'm working on my own mod too, It has several amount of features and if possible I can release from this map and for my up coming maps too.
Some features are already added in this map but I will make into my own mod so it will be available on my up coming new maps.

Some features (not all of them are listed here):

Hello guys,

I have a problem, I just started with Bo3 mod tools but after I have created a new zombie map and also compiled the map (builded the mod)

I'm trying to run the mod from Launcher but it doesn't work :(

when the game starts and it's loading the map I guess?   then the game stopt and gives me these error:

also I was trying to launch the map from the game it self by  Mods but  my list was empty.
When I check by zombies and select as example on solo there is my map.?

I'm trying to launch my map from there but after that my game freezes and stops working.

Firstday


Hello guys, A friend was asking if I could make a Multiplayer map and yes this is my first Multiplayer map that I have created, I called the map: 'Firstday' because of my first multiplayer map of course.

I hope you enjoy this Multiplayer map.


Features:
  • Custom Killstreaks
  • fx effects
  • crossbow (only from carepackages)
  • moving train
  • turrets
  • some explodable objects (cars, barrels, walls, etc)
  • doors can be open/closed (ghosts)
  • maybe more

Information about the map:

* Custom Killstreaks:
there are 4 boxes with a laptop on it, there you can select your own killstreak to earn them by killing enemies.

how to use the killstreak menu.

- Shoot / Fire Button is going forward (down)
- Aim / zoom Button is going back (up) also don't forget to press again to stop moving the cursor.
- F / Use Button is Selecting the Killstreak on the current position where the Cursor are.
- Melee / Knife Button is Exit the Killstreaks Menu.

Selecting the 3 killstreaks from low to high example:

Carepackages required 4 kills.
Clusterbomb Strike required 7 kills.
Dogs (K9) required 9 kills.

then make sure that you will do First:  Carepackage,  Second Clusterbomb   and the Last one Dogs.

Hello guys,

I have a question ?

if some one can help me with this problem.


I'm trying to get a model working that is falling out of the sky and it works now the problem is that the model is going through walls and floors ? it will not blocking or have a little bounce effect on it but it is still falling down to no where :(


I have tried multiple times with different functions:

* movegravity()
- works but model is going through the floors or walls, all the brushes (also tried with Solid() function) but not working.

* moveto()
- same as movegravity function it will going through the walls and floors to the end target of the vector (x,y,z)

* launch()
- not working,  unkown function error in codwaw ? this is what I have on the launch code:

marked_position = location where it needs to go, it has: (x, y, z)

but the both does not work, I get the same message.

* PhysicsLaunch()
- this works as well as the movegravity function but when I used this function my models that is falling down are dissappeared but they don't going through the floors and walls that I want :)
in the console it says:

Failed to create Physic model 'model_name' .

but after I created a physic file and a phys_collmap, I get still the error and the model is still dissappeared. :(

and the strange thing is that custom model imported from another cod game does well work with the PhysicsLaunch function and the custom model doesn't have a physic and phys_collmap, but when I'm trying to use a world at war model then I get the console message with that it failed to create.

also is PhysicsLaunch function required in a level thread instead of thread ?


example:

I want that if I'm into a building and the model is falling down, it most not possible that the model is going through the building.



I hope that any one can help me with this problem that will be very great :)

Hello guys,

I have a question ?

I'm making a scrolling texture that also have a transparent background but in game looks black and when you coming to close it will be fully white ?

I don't know if that is true or something else but is it possible to have a scrolling blend (transparent) texture in the map example:  decals.

here a picture how it looks like:



I don't why the black around the texture is coming that only transparent are :(


I hope that some one can help me with this problem.

Difficulties:

if you changed the difficulty to "Easy" then it will disabling the Boss Zombies.



Game modes:


Survival/Mission:
This Game mode is the default game mode, just survival and some objectives with endgames :)


Gun Game v1.0:
I made my own custom Gun Game, this gun game is based on kills:

extra cash (for guns) by kills:
  • Headshots
  • Boss

custom bonus drops:
  • x2
  • teddybear

x2 will double your cash for the guns to make it faster that you have a next gun.
teddybear will only works in co-op, the player that takes the teddybear keeps his gun and the other players will going 1 weapon back, this is because make it funny and more challenging to reach the last gun.


after round 14 it will also allow you to give extra cash by damage on zombies.

I know it is more based on co-op the gun game but the rule is simple, the first player that reached the last weapon wins the game.


Laststand v1.0:
I made also a gamemode:  Laststand and that is you need so long as possible to surviving in the house.

extra's/bonus:
  • drops weapons on the floor when the game begins
  • drops each round a random stuff near the weapon drops
  • custom power switch
  • custom pack a punch

the custom power switch and pack a punch are in the house somewhere to make it easier and possible to get perks that already inside of the house.

* TURN OFF THE  SPECULAR MAP  OPTION.     go to options and controls >  graphics  >  specular map   to > No
why ?   because if you have it on the map will look like to much shinny and other things will ook bad,  it was happends when I use the ignore.csv file because to many images (error: exceeded of 2400 image asset)  but that is solved and you will only need to do that with the specular map.


* this is the last version that I will upload because my computer is crashed and you guys got lucky that I have already finished the map and I'm not lost the files :D

* there are some little bugs over there but I can't fix that because my modtools didn't work anymore.

* I have fixed a large bug that I have found :)

that is also the point why I'm reinstalling my computer again :)

Storyline


After the Black day, the City has for a while no power.  It is 10 years later where 4 survivors sleeping into a hotel and when they wake up because a strange sound outside.  but now the 4 survivors need to stay alive and survive from the undead zombies.

The Abandoned Mine


Information:

This is a contest map [W.I.P.]

the map will be playable in a mine tunnel, with few rooms, mine carts,  and off course tunnels :D


Storyline:
There is a very large mineshaft, where the last few people were searching for something hidden deep down it. But on a particular moment, a part of the mineshaft collapsed, forcing them way deeper down the tunnel. After that, the survivors were stuck in the deepest mineshaft of them all. Now they have to find a way out to survive, but they figured out they weren’t the only ones down there.

Notes:
   - When you play The Abandoned Mine and you have seen the Intro about the elevator then when the rounds begins,
     then go to the room where Quick Revive perk machine are, there is a Oxygen Mask that you can pickup and use it to stay alive :D
   
   - There are different Easter eggs (how they need to be used) some triggers has only handicon or some triggers has only information etc.
     example: you can pickup a key in a keybox, you will see a handicon on it and then you can take it.

   - There are some secret things in the map that you can find out :)
   
   
   
Known Issues:
   I have not had enough time to solve problems and some problems were difficult or impossible to solve.
   
   - if you throw a Monkeybomb into the water (most time in deep water) then the monkeybombs doesn't anymore... (if you get the molotov and then Monkeybombs again 50% it should working again. )
   
        - Quick Revive already on by co-op
        - sometimes are hintstrings flashing

A few days ago I had problems with my electricity, this is due to a short-circuit I had because of all the rain that came in my room. Luckily there is almost no damage at all, and as following I bring you guys a little update… (I will try to upload some more pictures to it)

Storyline:

Update #1:

I will working on the points that the guys given to me and I will try it to fix these problems / bugs / glitches / whatever it is :)

but be sure that this map reached few things what you need to know before leaving a comment:

Limits / Errors:


*  2400 image limit:   I have already tried few times to fix this problem,  after few times trying to fix it,  I get it working again.

because I use now the Ingore.csv file to ignore some images etc to let my map working.


* 4096 model limit:   making details is good but I reached a model limit that I could not put anymore details to the map otherwise it will not working anymore.  don't forget that models, it will include all different models:  misc_models, script_models, misc_turret, etc.


* Max Number Of Disconnected Paths Exceeded:    I have made self a script about the doors and debrissen because some locations most the pathnodes connecting together because the error that I have to many sections with pathnodes. that the errors come up :(

or I most deleting alot of doors to make my map working again: maximium doors what I could have was 12.
and then the map is very annoying,  you played the map for 2 seconds and you know everything then :(


* max cells exceeded:    I've searched all over the Internet to this problem and after changing some stuff I got the map working again.


* 2 programs doesn't anymore working and that keeps me off the road about working on my map.
programs:   asset viewer   and   effects editor.

I need these programs to work and make my stuff beter in this map off course.


* btw I'm not a animator for making animations.  I'm working more like on as sample:  details, mapping, modding, scripting.



Bugs there are already founded:

* knife weapon:  when you have knifed then it will dissappearing but when you going to run you will get it back,  or when you knife again you will see the knife again it is only animation failed.
* when you open a tunnel does not matter which way,  it will lag (freeze the screen) for a second.
* mule kick doesn't take weapon when you lost the perk.
* tombstone:  it gives you all the functions back, but the shaders doesn't coming back but you have the functions for it :)
* becarefull some stuff / things  Don't try to fast pressing the button for example: buying a perk or something else.
because I use custom huds and if you are to fast then it will keep the text on your screen.





Storyline

After the Black day, the City has for a while no power.  It is 10 years later where 4 survivors sleeping into a hotel and when they wake up because a strange sound outside, a airplane that are coming is crashing and we hope that are survivors left but NO there are no survivors left and you need to escape to a safe location.  but now the 4 survivors need to stay alive and survive from the undead zombies.

Hi guys,

I don't know if I'm on the right location to post this.

but I got a big problem think I ?

I know it,  it is dutch but I will translate it for you guys what it means and saying:

You can search online for a solution to the problem.

I have also tried to:

run the program with:  adminstrator or comaptibility   and adminstrator with comaptibility  but that is not working :(

I have also tried to cleaning my computer and restarting the computer then starting the program again but nope it does not working :(


BTW:   the programs:   Radiant.exe and  asset_manager.exe  does working :)  but the other 2 programs: AssetViewer.exe and EffectsEd3.exe does NOT working




and I know how it feels if you almost done with your map and there are coming problems, like this.


I hope that people could help me out of this that will be very great full :)  and very appreciated for helping ;)

Hi guys,

I have tested my map with a friend before I will release the beta version but before I was thinking everything was fine.

I get these error that makes the zombies,  weapons, some script models dissappearing and appearing directly

like flashing zombie models and weapons.

this is the error what it says in the console:

R_MAX_SKINNED_CACHE_VERTICES((1024 * 192)) exceeded - not drawing surface


this was happening after I compiled my map 3 times and have 3 times tested but now the 4th time I get these error.

I hope that some one could help me fix this problem ? that will be very appreciated.

Hi guys,


I'm working on a boss zombie special round but I didn't want too the normal zombies spawning.

and I have one more question how could I set the boss zombie spawning from the normal spawning zombie risers locations ?


I get working the boss zombies but the stupid normal zombies are also coming :(


it will be really appreciated if someone could help me with this :)   8)

Hello guys,

I get a problem with my map, so far I know, I'm around 80% done with my map but now at the moment I can not start my map up.

when I launch my map then I press on the button or in the console:  devmap nazi_zombie_dt2   it does not matter which one and when the loading is done and you can click to start the map, then it crasht back to the menu and says:

error:  G_Spawn: no free entities.

a little story to know whats happening :)


previous time the map works fine no problems and everything works fine :)


what I have added is few  rooms and 4 doors that you need to buy to open the door.


(p.s. I'm trying to make so small steps to build the map fully out)


but when I have compiled my map it crasht and it say about the G_spawn error.

I use defferent things to come out what the problem is but I get different errrors on different loading my map :(


like a sample what I also get after I use also:  developer 1  and maybe logfile 2 too.

I have also a question could it be also the prefabs ?   that the maps crashed because the g_spawn error with the prefabs that I have ?

I have now around 277 prefabs in the map (is that also a entity loader or something like that)
