Topics - Speedy

When I ADS it zooms in far too much (picture below) and this is from porting the weapon files from bo2 to bo3. I used the default bulletweapon file and it works perfectly (other than then the stats being completly wrong and the crosshair and fx are non existant). Please can someone tell me what stats to change? I cant find what I am struggling to find out exactly what I am missing. Thanks

This is the first weapon I have ever ported over that I have got to work (thanks to Canadianpro17th for helping me <3) so please don't be harsh  ;) .
The tutorial is down below.

Instructions:
1: Insert everything from the "Root" folder into your Black ops 3 root folder (Usually found in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty Black Ops III")
2: Inside your root folder, navigate to Share/raw/sound/aliases and open up your user_aliases.csv
3: Copy and paste the text inside the user_aliases.csv found in the folder provided into your user_aliases inside the aliases folder.
4: Go onto your launcher and right click on the map you want to use the weapon on and click "Edit zone file".
5: Copy and paste the text below into your zone file

I have this problem where Youtube, when I try to watch a video, spits out a playback error in addition to another problem which is where every time I try to run a game it crashes on startup. I only just downloaded avast and running a full system scan so it will probably sort out my computer, if not, I will just format my Hard drive and backup all my saves to google drive. I just wanted to know if anyone can tell me the name of this specific virus or problem as it is a very good one (or not I only used windows defender up until now).

Ok so first off my Internet didn't work so I decided to work with what I had and be bored for ages but with playing around I got this .  I don't know how to add or make player spawns and have no idea how to compile it. I guess it's a start. I used nukem's linker mod and such. Was this supposed to come with it because I had to copy and paste the radiant from world at war.  Does anyone know how to help me with what I stumbled upon? Thanks. Also,nukem, if you see this can you tell me what to do? Thanks. Very happy about this  :D .

This is the error in hand. I don't know why this happens at all and I only understand half of this.
What I think is that it cannot allocate enough memory to compile it all, but I got my memory down to 50% and it still can't do it. I have 8gb of ram aswell.

Thanks to anyone who can solve this mess. I'll credit you in my map because figuring this out would help me out so much. Thanks, again.

Hi, I haven't streamed in a while because of this error (It's Irritating). Thanks to anyone who can think of a way to fix this.

So this error began when I installed alaurenc9's Black ops 2 hud. I followed the requirments which was installing Unlimited client systems and now When I go to build my mod or compile it i get this spat out from the console

So my guess is that something is tampering with linker and I have no idea what. I get this error
(!) UNRECOVERABLE ERROR: EXE_ERR_HUNK_ALLOC_FAILED256
And the unrecoverable error part scares me. I don't want to lose everything by having to reinstall waw. Please help.

Hi, just wanted to know how to place a fire like when you blow up a car there is a flame. Does anyone know how you could place it/where you could find it. I've been looking threw asset manager and threw all the other files like xmodel,xmodelparts ect. Thanks.

How do you free rotate in radiant (Not using X Y Z Rotate) Like holding a key and then moving your mouse around to rotate it or any other way. Would appreciate help :)

So, you want to make a Map. Eh?
DISCLAIMERS!:
Make sure to create an account to view the entirety of this tutorial!
This is making a map ->WITHOUT UGX<-
This tutorial does not cover the installation of modtools. They are confusing to install enough without me trying to explain it!

Using Script Placer:

Step 1: Go to this thread( http://ugx-mods.com/forum/index.php/topic,4221.0.html ) and make sure to read everything before you download!
Step 2: Extract it to where you see fit.
Step 3: Tick these options (Fill in where it says (mapname) with your mapname

Step 4: Click Generate

Opening the Launcher and Radient:

First off open up radient. If you don't know how here is how you do it!
Step 1:Go to your Root folder (Either C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/Call Of Duty World At War/ Or C:/Program Files/Activision/Call Of Duty World At War )
Step 2: Navigate too your bin folder and open up the launcher

Step 3: Click on radient when the launcher starts up.

Making Things Neat

So you will see radient. It will look something like this when you first start it up:

Lets tidy that up.
Step 1: Drag that console (Thing the box full of text at the bottom) all the way down. It is unnecessary for what we want to do.
Step 2: Make the 3d (Big Box filled with gray on the left) view a little bigger but just enough so you have space too work with the 2d view (Grid on the left)
Step 3: Bring the texture list down but enough so you can see it. (Box full of pictures and names at the bottom left)
In the end your radient should look like this:


Step 4: Click File, Open and Then your mapname


Little Disclaimer:
All Of these images wont show the tasks but I had Gyazo wouldn't let me take screenshots with Ctrl -> Shift -> C

Lets get ready to work!:

Step 1: Press Ctrl -> Tab till at the top left of your 2d view says this

This is the X Y View (Top down)
Step 2: Press 7 on your keyboard.
Step 3: Zoom out till it looks something like this

Step 4: Move the 2d view camera till it's in the center (Right click)
Step 5:Click on textures on the top bar

Step 6: Click Usage then tools

Step 7: Scroll down in the texture list and look for a texture (Image) called "Caulk" and click it!

Lets start building the floor of our map!

Step 1: Start by making an Floor (left click)

Step 2: Resize to perfection (Left click at the sides) (Perfection, in this case, is an 8x8 box)

Step 3: Press Ctrl -> Tab to change to the X Z View (Front)

Step 4: Press 4 on your keyboard and make it 1 box long (Zoom in too see the smaller Boxes)

Step 5: Click the Floor in the center and move it one box down
Lets make the Walls and Roof!:

Step 1: Press 7 on your keyboard
Step 2: Staying in X Z View, Create a wall with left click (Zoom out if you need too) (2 blocks tall)

Step 3: Press Ctrl -> Tab Twice (Gonna simply refer to pressing Ctrl -> Tab By saying it like this "Switch to top down view" Or "Switch to Front View")
Step 4: Press 4 then resize it till it is one block wide

Step 5: Press space and place the second wall at the other side of the floor

Step 6: Press space and click the Z on the bar at the top, then just line it up with the other edge of the floor

Step 7: Do the same as Step 5
Step 8: Shift Click the Floor (Select) then press space, Change to Front view then Move it up.

Texturing!

Step 1: Click onto Textures, Usage, then Interior Wall.

Step 2: Scroll down in the texture list until you find one you like. For me its this one:

Step 3: Ctrl -> Shift -> Click The walls in 3d view (Right click and use your mouse to move around. Use Ctrl -> Shift -> Right click to look around. Ctrl -> Caps Lock -> And right click to Ascend/Descend. There's the basics of 3d movement for ya!)
Step 4: Click on that texture you liked.
Step 5: Click on Texture, Usage and then Ceiling. Find a texture you like. For me its this one:

Step 6: Ctrl -> Shift -> Click The Ceiling then click that texture you liked.
Step 7: Do the same as Step 4 + 5 But on step 4 instead of clicking Ceiling click Floor.

Thats all for now. If you want me to go over reflections or adding in zombies please tell me!

Ok so I know the fix for this is to add a "Light Grid Volume" into your map covering everything but after I did that and went to render everything I see the colors are like a rainbow. Just wanted to know how you would fix this for my upcoming map. Really p!ssed off with it now. 😤

Ok, so I have tryed multiple things with this. I have been trying for the past 20 minutes to get Tom's IWI + DDS Converter working and everything I tryed hasn't worked. I have tryed dragging my IWI file onto the converter. I have made it run in admin every time. I have ran the program dragged it in and pressed enter. And I have even tryed dragging the exe onto the iwi. Nothing works. Pls help.
