Because it's not just "bigger than usual", not everyone has room for such a map, nor the bandwidth. I have plenty of both, but many don't. I've never seen maps exceed 400-500 MB even with a TON of custom content, 800MB seems excessive. I think it'd be more reasonable if it was reduced to 500 MB or so. And there are also complaints because it's exceeding limits, which is avoidable even with maps like this.

Well, its not just about disk storage size. Some people also have data caps and have no alternative ISP with better or no cap.
To the mapper, please look into reducing file size. Thanks.

The map has the potential to be great, but tons of graphics artifacts, lags at the beginning of every match, and round one sprinters on a tiny map. The artifacts might be something to do with a broken install, but the round one sprinters combined with super fast spawns in a tiny room kept me and my friend from even getting to round 3.

Your Halo Dual Magnums are OP for the first few rounds so you should be able to mulch those zombies pretty easily. You just gotta find what works.

Also, Jugg spawns in the open area, so you needn't worry about opening doors. And the power switch it literally to the left of you as you spawn.
Try Asylum V2 by Smasher if you are looking for a nice easy starting area (shhh, this is gunu be good :D)

So, this map wont work on CD/DVD version ? If so why isn't working on CD/DVD versions ?T4M only works on Steam and LanFixed exes. Reason being on CD it doesn't allow any memory injections and won't load the dll
Simply put it this form of "modding" doesn't work due to this with CD/DVD exe.
Technically you don't need Steam to be running you just need the LanFixed exe.
Ah ok then that makes sence. The downside to this is that my Laptop can't really run steam that well since I'm short on memory and my gaming PC broke down (thanks to a family member) and i have to buy a new set-up and I'm glad I backed up a lot of stuff on Flash Drives and Cloud Servers.
Everythings pretty much a broken glitch for me, all invisible.
Set your textures to Automatic, and set specular maps off. Then reset your game and make sure the settings are still automatic and specualr maps off. Hopefully that help you :)
So every single map I have works perfectly, I install this map with the needed file and now every map has texture errors. I delete the file that I have put into the directory and now every map I play is perfect again. The map doesn't work with that file installed (Pretty obvious as you stated) but when I install the file Lavender Town also has texture errors.Could you screenshot the issue? I wanna look into it a bit more.
Im really not sure what to do here, is it just me? I have the Steam version of the game but as soon as I install that file, every map including Lavender Town gets texture errors.
It didn't sorry to say. My friend crashes when we try to play coop, and on top of that when i load the game i can't see the textures for stair cases and other things. Plus things just glitch out. I goto the mysterybox after walking up the invisible staircase and get a gun but it gives me nothing and just says 0/0 ammo and no name.
Then to add insult to injury. my guy says "This is some next level shit"

I don't know if anyone said this yet, but 500k? srsly? I got to 168k on round 40 and quit. Great map, love the weapons and the elevator, but the ending is just a grind.Nearly every game ive had on a treyarch stock map ive ended up at about 970,000 by round 40, so no, i think its perfectly reasonable
Also, how many soul boxes are there/ what do they do. I filled like 5 or 6 and nothing really happened :/
Ahh, well I might have had a little glitch or something. Because even at wave 40 it was like I had an infinity insta kill. I got a +50 and a +10 on ever kill, and all the zombies died instantly with my un packapunched lsat :/they dont tho

So i got the Steam version of it and when i start it, i can start the mod but when i start loading the map the games crashes in loading screen. I tried to uninstall all mods i got inside, dont work. reinstalled the game dont work, download other fixes dont work. Can someone help me?thats coz it requires the T4M mod, read the OP again
Trying to figure out the directions to run this..i have the disk/cd version of the game, but I have replaced the solo/coop exc. to run without the disk :by JONATHANXRAY long ago....so now I just put the d3d9.dll in the root and it will run? or will it not?
can someone at least link me to where I can figure this out? ...or buy me bo3 and the seasons pass ;D if that's easier
Try and see, you should see something along the lines of 2.x in the bottom corner and if my memory serves me right the console actually displays T4M instead of CoD and version number.
I have the cd version and when I click to play solo it starts to load then I get world at war has stopped working can someone one help please I have downloaded both links.
Read my post a few above yours...get the land fix installed in root (use the 2nd link I give for it) so u don't need a cd to run solo, then add the t4m in root, then it will work ;)

I'm having an issue with the map, if I'm not mistaken, you need the .dll file to play right? Well, if I don't put the .dll, when I load the map, the game crashes, and if I put the .dll, the game won't start.

so the map is awesome but when i am playing it the textures start to fuck upT4M needs to be installed in order to play this map . If you installed it and the same lower your texture settings and spec map to Off .

can i get some help cause i'm missing textures on mine. But its still a great map.sometimes just deleting the mod and re installing can fix an issue ,maybe worth a try . im assuming you added the t4m file you need to run the map , it tells you how to do this in the instructions
Does anyone know what the soul chests do? I got to round 33 running around the map looking for soul chests / some indication that the chests are done but found nothing. Pyramid is closed, origins pedestals arent interactable or anythingif I remember right there are six soul chests and when completed you get a nice reward that appears outside spawn building , if you get that far make sure you pap it as well you get another surprise for that too . the chests are in buildings (2) and outside (3) too , also theres one on the roof of a building

I am trying to download this map but am unable to extract the d3d9.dll file from the T4M r42.1 [Release] RAR file and place the d3d9.dll file in my root directory. If someone could please help me or make a video showing how to do it that would be wonderful. Thanks!
