STORY:
Our Four main players, show up in this hole in the ground in the middle of nowhere. They have no idea why they are here but a voice calls out to them and tells them what to do. You either listen or die, your choice but your fate may bring you gold and riches or death and despair. Is this really egypt, is this not just another trick of the mind? No matter, this map has a huge story behind it and it is waiting to be unlocked. The crazyplace was just to test your tastebuds for adventure, this map is just the begining. If you would like to make your own predictions then look for caulk writings ingame and other theory worthy items.

KNOW BUGS:
-While in ice chamber spawners don't spawn as much as they should.
-All perk Machines give you the power must be active text event when power already is active.(just look up at the top left conor of your screen the first time you walk up to a perk and it will tell you the perk, the cost, and the stuff it does for you)
-PLayer one sees debris that have been opened siting out in the middle of the map
-The map loads you under the world, just close you COD waw and reopen, it should be fine.
-The map loads and gives you a random error that you don't understand just close your cod waw and reopne and everything is gonna be alright ;D

DETAILS:
This map Takes Place Before the Crazyplace and leads into it. Same playable people, but a deeper story.
The main chamber in the center of the map will ipen once you have opened all three tombs found around the map.
The chamber will open but that doesn't mean the ice door does
you must complete the 3 MAIN easter eggs for the ice door to be openable. Then your fate lies ahead.

Promising, but it seems to me like this was rushed out WAY before it was ready.

1. NEVER put broken weapons in your map. I was confident when I picked up the (perfectly ported) BO2 M1911, but things went downhill from there.

Several guns were either missing reload sounds or they were abnormally quiet. Others had some serious issues, such as the SCAR reloading twice as fast as it normally should (and having a winter camo?)

The StG was the single worst example I encountered. Black texture spots, holes in the model, missing reload sounds. Honestly there is no reason why I would want to use that over the default WAW StG.

2. The map felt too ambitious. The sheer size meant that most of the areas were a simple geometric shape with a single texture repeating indefinitely. That is absolutely harrowing to look at.

3. Textures were bugging out, perks didn't register that the power was on (but I could still buy them) -- these types of bugs need to be addressed before release.

I find it surprising that you had so many beta testers and yet these issues are still in the map. You NEED to give betas to reliable community members who will give constructive criticism and tell you the cold truth about your map, not friends who will just say "It plays fine!"

The zombie spawns were fine, and I liked your easter egg idea. But this map needed more time in the incubator.

It's quite a well done map, many good features, quite some fun to be had.

The map started slow, even to Round 4 I was yawning due to how long the zombies have to walk to get to you, the 0 Points and Knife don't help, but at least after that you find yourself getting some decent zombie action.

Detail was some what on the lacking side, there were some graphical errors on the map, but overall you made up for this in layout (however there was a lot of door opening, lol). I did however find myself running into clips, more so at the first box location or where deadshot is, around that platform. Some clips were much bigger than the model and thus you found yourself colliding with something you didn't even know was there.

The Main Easter Egg was very innovative and was very well done, though I will say on toning down the brightness of one the areas of the Easter egg. (you know which one I'm talking about) It did give the person something to aim for, it also captures them the first time they go for it, which is very clever, you lure the player in with their curiosity, and to get out they much complete tasks. +1

Last but not least I'll touch on is the weapons: I felt a lot of them were very under par, some the guns I was excited to see such as the MW2 ACR were to be dumped due to low ammo, high fire rates and low damage, it seemed that guns that had high fire rate had low damage and low clip, and those that had high damage had low fire rate, even with DT2.0 in mind. Some weapons also were lacking reload sounds and some had holes in them.

Overall: it's enjoyable, the Easter egg is very fun, the somewhat lack of detail was made up for in layout and other aspects.

Very enjoyable, I will most certainly do a more in-dept review after more playing. :)

so chill, remember its okay, my beta testers never said that my map was perfect
and adressed the perk thing in my map description if you acculy read it.

Dude, this is called criticism. Get used to accept and deal with it. Honestly, if I wouldn't be so lazy to play every released map - you would probably die reading my messages about bugs and bad implemented features, 'cuz I want everything to be perfect.

I did read the description, so yes, I did know about the hintstring error. It was simply an example of a bug found in this map. Just because it was announced in the OP does not mean that it's not a bug.

I am not "just finding what's wrong with the map", I am attempting to point out the errors that I encountered when I played it. If you do not want constructive feedback on how to IMPROVE your map, then ask a mod to lock the thread so that nobody can post in it.

I understand that you would fix the bugs if you could, however I'm simply stating that if a gun is obviously broken, it should either be fixed or removed. Same thing with the textures. If they're broken and can't be fixed they ought to be removed and replaced.

There are many ways to fix hint strings. I assume you went over the default hint string limit?

V2.0 Will Be Out Very Soon And Will Be Replacing V1.0, After It Is Out 90% Of these bugs will be fixed for sure, remember a few are out of my hands

HitmanVere i will do the crediting right now and as for the v2 update its coming good but i cant seem to fix the sounds for the blundergat, i fixed the scarh, stg44 but not the blundergat, i also made a cooler load screen with the help of radimaX and I fixed 3 glitch spots in the map... should i put it up event tho the blundergat is not yet fixed?

the blundergat had only 10 rounds... now it has 60
the cliping was off on one of the walls
zombies glitch in ice room
m14 wallbuy sometimes broke the map

This was a pretty fun map. The Double Dew kicked alot of ass  :rainbow: and also I loved the fact that you didnt put a limit on how many perks could be held at one time. I do have a couple complaints though.
While I was playing this map. I found myself getting stuck on a lot of objects that weren't actually there thus almost causing me to die. Another thing that bothered me is that some of the guns were really weak, like the Kiparis. I picked it up at around round 4 for nostalgia purposes and it took quite a few rounds to take one zombie down. I understand that it was a cheap weapon but the M14 did a lot more damage and it was worth 400 less than the Kiparis.

Other than that, This map was awesome. Keep up the good work.  ;)

yea just saw it on youtube, I'm not concerned about it because it's not a map breaking glitch, only way your gonna find it is if u stumble onto it on purpose. no player is gonna mistakenly jump out of the map. but thanks for the info, if a 3.0 ever comes out.. when there are game ruining glitches that need to be fixed then i will make a 3.0 but for now im fine
And Finale Version does not mean finale release.... ther can still be a 2.1 2.2 2.3 2.4 2.5 2.6 2.7 2.8 2.9 but no 3.0, overtime your glitch will be fixed,

How do you 'stumble into' something 'on purpose'? ??? And I'd say an out-of-map glitch is about as 'map breaking' as it gets ;D I did enjoy the guy reporting a glitch whilst he was openly using his mod giving him +9999999 points and god mode though :P

But on topic -
This map was fun, not the greatest. Many weird clippings that are easy to get caught on, getting out of the map was the funnest part of the map. The design was cool, haven't seen anything like this. The weapon sounds were weird and the Kiparis is way too underpowered. The introduction text was a little big and very long, maybe resize it to the corner. And also the zombie spawns at start take for ages for the zombies to get to you.

Overall: Average map, cool theme. Still some stuff that could be fixed though

Unreal map my friend, myself and a friend just completed it and enjoyed it a lot, it's probably the most fun we've had playing a map co-op! We almost died laughing when I jumped into the tomb with the 4k escape (I didn't have 4k points so it was a hilarious troll) :P

The Easter Egg was fun too, we basically completed it by accident but it was fun looking for the numbers and such. One thing a friend was dissapointed in is that you couldn't PaP the Thundergun :/

9.5/10, would definitely play with rice.

I love a lot of things about this map, from all the theming in the menu and load screen, to the features with 3 easter eggs, to all the instructions on how to play the map at spawn.  Even the gun choice was fantastic!  Never got the same guns from the box twice!

But, the map layout, sorry to say, really blows.  Stuff was just placed randomly in the map.  I also didn't like that until I turned on power, it was too straight foward.  Being on some scaffolding at spawn and having the zombies take like a half an hour make the first few rounds kind of a drag.

There are a lot of other layout things I could mention, but I don't want to bring you down too much, and there are lots of cool features that could be applied to your next map that I have full confidence you can make some really good maps with.   Hope I was resourceful with my comment! :D

One is by the stamin up perk-a-cola machine
two is near jug
and three is where the mp40 is
Now the reason there might be one by deadshot and all, is because there is an unfixable glitch in the map in which makes it so that every debris you open you can see where it moves to before disappering but it doesn't for some reason go away. It is at random and happens on and off
in co op it usally happens to everyone but host but, some times it mixes up

It was fun to play. Except there were quite a number of issues, the map wasn't really consistent (e.g. weapon wallbuys sometimes had chalk drawings, sometimes didn't, the ACR has the exact same chalk drawing as the AK47), you couldn't pap the thundergun :(, clipping was a big issue, some of the detail was glitched or incorrect (e.g. the starting area had a post which would stick out and potentially block you which could kill you).

The guns were a good mix of custom weapons. It was a shame that the box light didn't work correctly and that you couldn't see prices on perks as a hintstring or the buyable ending. Also PLEASE use &&1, this shows the user the default use button we have selected (I don't use the F key to use things) for example, "Press & hold &&1 to Open Door [Cost: 750]".

 Some of the weapons severly lacked ammo (e.g. STG44 with 130 reserve ammo??? Should be 270 or 300). Ignoring those previous points, the map was a lot of fun and despite some model clipping issues (*cough* plane wing on outside area *cough*) I would really recommend it to others for some good zombie-slaying fun! If you just fixed some of the issues previously stated I believe this could be a classic. GearZ, you did a good job be proud of it! Very creative and imaginative which a lot of maps nowadays seem to not have as much in them.


REVIEW:

Detail: 5/10 - Not bad detail but had a few glitches here and there with detail and there was no texture patching.
Custom Content: 7/10 - Good amount of custom weapons and features.
Fun Scale: 7/10 - It was quite fun despite the bugs here and there.
Re-playability: 4/10 - Apart from the main doors and the buyable ending there isn't much else to do so once you've completed it there isn't much point playing it again except with friends which could be fun.
Bugs: 6/10 - There was a considerable number of clipping and graphical issues which could easily be fixed but no real game breaking bugs so, good work!

OVERALL VERDICT:

29/50 (58%) - Good map! Would recommend!  :D

thank you for the feedback and i promiss i will take all of this into consideration in updates and certainly into my next map. i would for sure make that replayabllitly up to  ten in my next map, im thinking about having over 10 mini EEs that arent required.... mabey a sliquifyer and staffs too...

It was a fun map. To improve on re-playability you could of added soul chests or a secret shootable door etc. Just something to make the map less linear.

great map ,luved all the puzzles and the text story was quite fun keeping you busy finding what to do next. the pyramid setting worked well . i did notice the rough edges especially in the spawn area where you can get stuck against the sides but this didnt bother you once you left that area. overall really enjoyed playing this and personally i ll be playing this again theres so much to do and i want to try out more of the weapons , the ones i tried were excellent ,especially liked the ak47 .btw i pap d the starting knife i thought it might be upgradable and i was right .keep up the good work .have a +1 from me.

Hey man v2.0 is kind of buggy now, the scar gives you a hand weapon also i cant see my ammo anymore :(. Just says 0/0 ammo when i have full ammo. It happened when i was playing with 2 other friends

This map is very good aside from the few bugs and glitches but I think it could use improvement, but don't let people rush you and most important don't let you rush yourself... that won't solve anything it will only make more errors go thru your metal detector without being noticed. Over time you will learn how to correctly adjust these errors and bugs to your liking but for now just take it one step at a time. awesome map, keep up the good work!  ;D And remember any error can be solved it just takes time, dedication, and pactince.

Umm you might have caught a map bug in the download, try and delete the map out of appdata and then reinstall it and if that doesn't work then I will look deeper into it but I need to know if this is a real map bug or just a download glitch

Ive removed the youtube videos - yet again

people, please use the YOUTUBE section, not the mappers own topic for his/her map ( if they want to post videos, or post your videos, its up to them )

Essentially its spam, I am constantly removing it. If people actually "want" to see your videos they will go to the youtube section. If they dont - then they never wanted to see your video.

As a rough reminder, for those of you struggling

* No spam
* No off topic
* No hate
* Post your gameplay vids to the "YOUTUBE" section - where gameplay vids "belong"
* no raw assets

I dont even bother moving them now ( I have done for a very long time, but now users are ignoring my pms about it, so no longer ), i just remove them. So its in your "own" best interests, to follow the guidelines, if you want to share your channel here
