Dead Palace
Version 1.1

Description:
You find yourself on a small island... and the tide is rising. It doesn't help that you can't swim. You must find a way get to safety before you are overtaken by the water. And if that's not bad enough, the natives are all Zombies!

Dead Palace Patch 1.1:
-Added hide-seek mini game
-Added music easter-egg
-Fixed respawning without a weapon
-Modified Scripting, Pathing, Clipping
-Switched Shovel on Gungame to Sticky Bombs (making Gungame playable)

That reminds me of one of the buildings in Skyrim, I think it is in Whiterun with the companions? Haven't played it in ages kek. But looks noice :P

Any updates? We need a progress update by Thursday July, 30/2015 at 11:59PM PST. Anything to indicate the progress gained since the last update. If you haven't gained any progress an indication of such is fine. If you have gained progress we need visual representation and possibly a quick summary of what was done for the map in-between updates.

hi there =) here's what ive been working on since the last update:
creating some other buildings
adding a couple models
adding some scripts

ive been trying to make it more medieval-y, can be hard at times tho =/

but what your really here to see... pics:
1st is a fisherman hut/dock

work's been crazy lately, havent had time to work on the map =(

I would like to say, i've looked at some other wip's and their looking great (props to you mappers)!

Hopefully I can return to mapping soon... Until then any suggestions of things I should include??

overall hadn't had much time to work on this, but this past weekend i had some free time and made this winding road. I still need to fix some textures and add detail, but you get the gist of it  :P

ive been intentional about carving out some time these past few weeks to work on this. really pushing to finish in time.

Riptide, I just played this for the first time and the whole rising water idea is a lot of fun and makes you really have to think about how you wanna spend your points; lower the water more to increase chances of survival or buy better guns and progress through the map. Very cool!

You've created an awesome map! This shows that maps can be good with limited features and basic textures/models.
Love the idea of the water and that you can lower it again in case you gotta go back to a previous part of the map.
Fairly simple but fun! Thanks for sharing this map Riptide.

the model thing i "think" is caused by bullet collision on models. I had the same issue with everything ive put it on, unless the clip extended beyond the bounding box of the model. Otherwise i had to take off bullet collision and place a weapon clip in radiant

AWESOME Map! Super Fun! Having environmental hazards really makes the gameplay Unique.

This map is Refreshing, not just the same old experience. It really makes you second guess your decisions. You will be on the edge of your seat from spawn to your final hold out spot. I give this map a 10/10.

I can't wait to see what you come out with next!  :D

Hey, when you bleed out on coop, you spawn back in with no gun :(

Also gun game doesn't work, since you spawn with a shovel, and there is no melee allowed.

Otherwise, I love the map since it reminds me of skyrim :D
