Well, I was thinking of maybe not participating, but if the time is 5 months, then why not :P
With this map, I wanted to take on old-school style and was thinking, why not base it on old movie?
We had this discussion earlier in Map Ideas section, so yeah
Map layout will be based on movie called Evil Dead 2, but will feature much more than just one shotgun and zombies :D

Upgraded Model 1887 will be dual wield ;)
Features:
-Minimum of 8 perks (If Project C gets released way earlier, then I can add the custom ones in)
-Nova Crawlers
-Custom weaponry (no stock guns)
-More to be announced later
I am going to tag team with some people on this. They will be announced later on, since atm dont have info about if they are going to or not :)
- Objective idea
Step 1: Make your way to the cabin (gotta clear a few fallen tree debris)
Step 2: Find a key to get inside (can spawn in 1 of 3 places outside)
Step 3: Open door to the cellar and get the Necronomicon and place it on a table upstairs (doing this triggers a zombie flood similar to the one that happens on Berlin Bank. Also a boss zombie shows up from here on every few rounds)
Step 4: Kill 40 zombies outside near the Workshed which will then allow you to open it and inside is the PAP machine.
Step 5: Find 3 gas cans hidden out in the woods, once you pick up one another won't spawn until the next round. Place all 3 gas cans in certain places in the cabin and then located a lighter/detonator to ignite the gas and destroy the Necronomicon. Once you do that then you can ride off in the Classic or just keep killing zombies as long as you want.
Players can purchase a placeable trap which can help you take care of the zombies that want to come in the front door or there could be a buyable repair button that assembles the door again similar to a carpenter drop.

Dude, there has to be a double barreled shotgun and a chainsaw somewhere in this map. I will be very disappointed if neither make an appearance. Looks good though.

Yeah, I followed this one picture in net for layout and it turned out to be way bigger than what it really is. I might go in and redo the whole thing :P

I think making it bigger is better. What...why is everyone laughing? Oh yea...that...I see. Grow up guys!
Unless you want the cabin to be a coffin as soon as someone goes in, you've either got to make it a bit bigger have more square footage or else find a way for people who aren't playing in a 4 player team to have a chance at survival. Unless you want people to just train outside.

Unless you want the cabin to be a coffin as soon as someone goes in, you've either got to make it a bit bigger have more square footage or else find a way for people who aren't playing in a 4 player team to have a chance at survival. Unless you want people to just train outside.
Cabin should be the safe place on the map, so I think having it bigger would be better, lol. I was thinking of maybe adding metal sheet on front door, which you can then have electricity running through to create badass electric trap :D
- Turret Trap
There could be a Pentagram on the floor of the cellar that you must activate somehow (20 zombie kills or something) and when you do it begins to glow. Then players can deposit guns onto it (vending machine in Carrier style); place three guns onto it and then it gives you back a turret which you can use to guard a window or wherever you want to put it. To refill its ammo either get a max ammo or else give the Pentagram another gun which will refill the turret's ammo supply. Only one turret is able to be created no matter how many players you have to keep it from becoming OP with 4 players and 4 turrets. Turret damage should be pretty insane in order for it to serve its purpose.

Sorry for not updating in ages, lol. Been busy trying to finish Project C. But while were at it, I can say there will be a lot of custom features added in and everyone of them will be finetuned to the best of what we can do :)

Sorry for not updating again in ages, lol. I have been busy with Project C, but I decided to gave TheScotchGuy some work, so he has been working on terrain and power building of the map. Not that much to show, but yeah:

Yes and no. Scotch wanted to use his settings, when compiling, but I told him to use these settings and they came out pretty sick :P

im only mapping most of the map, i dont know what hitman is doing with the mod.

Isnt that basically like Ascension zombies? Tripping everywhere, no idea what they are doing :troll:
But yeah, map can change in middle of progress :P Its not like we have to be strict with theme :please:

Update on the map
While mapping side is being done in pretty good pace, I dont think I will have time to finish the mod for it. Thats why the map is taken from the contest and will be finished later on with different mod, which is being done by ALM. More info of the mod later on, when ALM wants to announce more about it

Sad to see it cancelled for the contest, would rank up high in my opinion, but a later release is better than no release. ::)
