SORRY GUYS, I DECIDED TO SCRAP THIS PROJECT

Hey, guys. I started working on this mod for Call of the Dead about a week ago and I thought that I have made enough progress to show it off a bit.

Game play - I lost early (Stupid SMR :D)

I plan to add the other three BO2 Zombie Characters, although I will eventually release a version of the mod with the Origins players, and another with the Mob of the Dead players. I also plan to add the entire BO2 Zombies weapon list.

Hey, guys. I started working on this mod for Call of the Dead about a week ago [queue music] and I thought that I have made enough progress to show it off a bit.

  • Added Marlton Player model, viewhands, and dialogue
  • Added BO2 Weapons - BO2 M1911, Five-Seven, KAP-40, MTAR, SMR
  • Added a way to obtain more perk slots
  • Added Zombie Counter
  • Removed George - I will add him back if you guys would prefer
great mod so far
Glad that you removed george, I always get killed by that F***er
as for the SMR, can you patch it so that the SMR actually hits zombies.

Well, I want to have all of the official stats at first, then release versions with patched weapons, different characters, maybe a difficulty mod.. and so on. I haven't officially decided what I'm going to do with it yet. Feel free to leave suggestions..

I have it there for the feel of the game. It's not an accurate mod unless it has the trash.

it looks great. I think you should use Marlton's "I shall engage in a killing spree" quote for the death machine.
Also, keep George out...he's my arch enemy.

i've gotta be honest here, COTD is a glorious map and i cant imagine anything worse than it being treated like shit and given the BO2 shit set of weapons, at the very least it deserves the origins box selection which bar a few weapons is good.

Well thats good, but the best thing about the origins set is that there was no SMR - that seriously does nothing at all, theres a bad weapon - the war machine, but that might actually do some damage to zombies, the smr can be aimed at a zombie but shoot upwards instead

I enjoy them all equally. Every weapon is unique and fun to use. It's not very fun without the bad weapons. I'll buff it a bit, I guess. Accuracy increase and slight damage increase?

What would be entertaining is if you made the SMR:

-- Super rare from the box (rarer than a WW)

-- Hilariously bad accuracy, even if you were physically touching the zombie (bullets flying out in random directions, not always forward)

-- 1 shot kill on all zombies besides George

But, you have to remember, Treyarch has always had some sort of 'troll' weapon/s
W@W: Springfield, Panzershrek
BO1: China Lake, M72 LAW
BO2: SMR, War Machine
So, removing those weapons would remove the bad things that make the mystery Box a box that can both be good and Bad.
So, long story short, leave the SMR in there, and bring in the War Machine (if possible).

No you were not. Call of the Dead is an amazing map. This mod will not make it any better, only worse. I'm only making the mod for this map because I was testing out the tools with it and decided to make a mod.

Panzer, LAW, and the Lake weren't that bad. War Machine and the ones I just mentioned are also pretty solid when PaP'ed (PHD makes them all the more better...). Springfield and SMR though... ugh.

Well, for World at War, it was seen as a troll, because you moved so slow, you could possibly down yourself by shooting it at a zombie, and the lake is a troll gun, although with PHD it's fine, but before PHD, in maps like Kino and Five, it was a Troll. The LAW is like the Panzer with how it worked, except, as you mentioned, PHD could remedy it.  And the war machine is still a troll weapon, until PAP'ed, as you mentioned.
So, long story short, these guns are trolly until PAP'ed, except the Springfield and SMR (although the Scoped Springfield in SOTDO was pretty beastly)

a weapon thats powerful but a risk to use is not a "troll" it requires "skill and strategy"

can we stop throwing the term "troll" around like it applies to anything with a negative side...
