Spectacular! Great work! I hoped you would release too Town for WaW because I couldnt play your Town version for CoD4.

THIS IS TOWN of Black Ops II. Some little fixes like the perks icons in the hud, another lighting in some spots of the map and zombies in flames dont give points but nothing important.

Awesome map with a great surprise.  The only bug I found was the MP5 was marked up as 500 on first purchase but is actually 1000

This map was spectacular! I found a bug though, you cant get points when killing zombies in fire, making this map extremely hard to progress but other than that, spectacular!! 9/10 m8

Im glad you decided to transfer your cod 4 town map to waw
This map is amazing so as the extra features on it

Only thing you could change are the perk icons, use the BO2 ones and fix the 0 points for killing zombies on fire if you haven't done so

*slip slap* and you didn't review farm. ooo you nasty peice of work xD

One of the other major issues being the lava feature. I'll update IZaRTaX on what I have so far but still doesn't fully work and I think I need to look in other area's that is causing the point issues with lava. Think there may be some kind of conflict with the flamethrower variables which some of them I used on the lava script.

It's a near identical replica of Town though it does have the cafateria section from MotD as a bonus area.

I am playing it right now and although I am not a fan of the BO2 Town map I am actually enjoying playing this. The addition of Electric Cherry is working out well and weapons are decent enough for my liking. Still incredible how much the map looks like the BO2 version.

I find it rather depressing that all you need to get massive props from a large portion of the community is to ape BOII in whatever way possible, from weapons to the maps themselves.

The mapping looks great -- huge respect for that to OP. Phenomenal job!

But at the end of the day a remake is a remake, and it's a remake on an inferior engine to boot. And half of the recent releases/WIP's are either BOII remakes or basically copy every single aspect of BOII's features.

BOII =/= better. I'm glad that a lot of people are enjoying the remakes, but I still don't really understand what's the benefit of a remake on WAW over the original BOII version.

If its just a 1:1 remake, same layout, same guns, same perks etc I would totally agree. But this map has a MOTD bonus room, Electric Cherry, different weapons, and it doesn't feel like the actual survival map.

I still consider it very, very close to 1:1. There are no new areas aside from the MOTD Cafe and the bar being slightly more open. I didn't notice any new weapons, although I guess there may have been 2-3 new ones in the box? And I don't consider an extra perk a significant change. Anyway, it felt like the survival map to me, if it didn't for you that's good though.

That's a good point. But if we follow that line of reasoning, shouldn't mappers be working on every BOI/II map so that the WAW community can play them? Not in my opinion.

I think it'd be cool to see a remake that follows the same layout of the map but with different scenery/setting, more areas, and new weapons. If a remake had those things, it's not so much a remake as it is a whole new map.

Origins and all of Tranzit are being worked on, someone tried Buried I think a beta was on ZM but never finished and bad textures
So only Die Rise and MOTD havent been remade or tried

The Origins one is supposed to take place in the '20s and have a lot of different features. So it's not that much of a remake. The buried one is, as you said, an unfinished beta with some issues.

At this point somebody could probably create Tranzit by taking the Farm remake and this and just adding the bus depot, diner, and the power station, connecting them via road, and scripting the bus.

+1 Have to say I agree with this mostly.

Remakes should be an improvement or a drastic change from the original to be worthwhile (IMO of course). This map is stunning in how IZaRTaX has recreated Town PERFECTLY. And without doubt this guy is one of the best mappers I've seen (if not the best, also basing this on his COD4 work which is jaw droppingly good). But personally I feel that this is too similar to BO2 Town and I might as well just play it on BO2.

Hmm this idea sounds familiar, perhaps the WIP Tranzit 2.0 which is being worked on by Slayer, Rich, DualVII and many others? :troll:

Legend has it that guy is a crazy two headed albino bastard who cut off his own eyelids so he could have longer mapping sessions without falling asleep. It's just legend though.

I've been a follower of this guy for a long time although he was unfortunately making Modern Warfare a better game and not World at War at the time. His mapping work is outstandingly incredible!
Was very happy to see him come over too World at War.

Hot damn, I am surprised to see this map being released while being on vacation.
Will give it a go when I can today :) If guns are really in that bad condition like DD says, then I will surely talk with Tito and we can look through all weapon files, if its actually needed :)

This was by far a great map.
What could be better was to remove the wall weapons from the box, The olympia seems to like players.
The MP5 had the wrong model, the price said 500 other than the true price 1000.
The semtex is a secondary instead of replacing the primary
and is there other weapons in the box?

Played the update, I am such a strong player now, Zombies can't kill me
Seriously though, had all perks and decided to commit suicide by zombies
They did 0 damage, I was surrounded and got hit 200 times, so had to use the ol grenade cooking
Also most of the weapons felt weak and again zombies exploding= 0 points
The map itself is great just the features like weapons including need some work

Well it should work fine with Winrar or 7zip, but if you are still having issues with it I can upload the .EXE file and send you that via a PM.

Edit: Ok so I downloaded the file in the link I posted for you and it extracted fine, so my guess is either your own extraction software is corrupt or possibly no longer installed.

There is a switch (wheel) in the bank that once turned will activate a plane (the one from MotD) over on the far side of the map where the second box spawn is. Look over towards the church and you will see the plane sitting up on the wall.

Problem is I don't see any switch/wheel inside bank. I even tried to nade vault door thinking that it might be inside. But nope.

I think you may need to get to a certain round. I was on round 12 when I entered the bank and the first vault door was already opened. Once I hit the switch and went over to the cafateria and returned the vault was closed again.

Try playing till round 12 then go into the bank and see if the first vault door is open. If so, the switch is across from where the bank keys would be.

There's a certain sound confirming that vault door is open, it's the same sound we used to hear once we fed a puppy in MoTD and CPH.

Really enjoying the map so far despite Town is not my favorite blops2 map. I can almost uninstall blops2 once Origins and Tranzit meet their remakes. (because fuck Buried)

No complaints but few things I noticed:
DSR50 is really weak.
StaminUp is some how weak too. There's like no difference whether you have it or not.
Agreed with wall guns removal from box.

I'm going to agree with e0894ed4 here in that the DRS-50 and Stamin-Up are pretty sucky. Also, what would make this map amazing (other than fixing those issues) would be to add the Wunderwaffe DG-2 and the PPSh-41 (along with their PAP'd variants).Adding options like starting round (1, 5, 10, 15, or 20) and Hellhounds on/off would be pretty badass too, like actually playing the real Town Survival. Other than that fantastic work, this is quite a lot of fun.

P.S: Can someone please make a video tutorial on the ending? I want to do it but I'm too lazy to try :P

And one final thing:
I put the "main" folder in C:\users\[me]\AppData\Local\CoDWaW but nothing happens - I get the default Activision loading screen. There is no C:\Program Files (x86)\Activision folder, so I can't put it there

Any thoughts on this?

The only EE I know of is using the plane to get over to the cafateria from MotD where there is another perk and weapon available.

I love the remake in COD4 and i also like this but the fact that you don't get points from burnig zombies kills the gameplay it also is a big problem on dual's farm remake.

This map played great, im not going to say anything negative about it. What i will say is what i would of liked to see..
Buyable ending
More spawns in the mob room and speed them up ie very slow to come out of the windows
Boss round...dogs or new boss
Monkeys not being replaced with semtex off the wall lol
small EE
Trap on the bar room door ( thats just me :) )
Stamin up...any difference?
3 rooms far too easy to camp untill round 25+

Buy saying all of this, this mapper/s are really skilled and just need to be a little more creative and i look forward to any future maps.

I would add Dolphin Dive, custom powerups icons, some more detail: why? Because when i play customs, i don't like to think that  i'm playing World at War, the map is exactly as bo2's, but i'd like to see it looking newer, it looks a little old to me.
More things... I couldn't open BAR's door with right 750 points, but with more points i could.

Nice map! It looks great but it has few flaws. I saw MrDalekJD's video about this map and noticed the characters use the original crew's voices. I could give you the folder containing the audio files of the characters and possibly some ambiance sound effects of the map Town from Bo2 if you want. Just sent me a private message and I'll post the folder(s) containing the audio OR I can give you the link where I got the audio rip tool (unless you have it judging by how you already have some of the assets of Bo2).

The .zip file contains a .exe file which allows you to install the map without having to extract the zip to somewhere. Just open the .rar (same as .zip) with Winrar or 7-Zip and double click on the installer.  The other thing to do (installing the .bik) is not necessarily needed to get the map playable and working.

I got to round 36 on my first try! Just last week I was thinking someone should make this map and now here it is!

bugs:
- when you have an lsat stamina-up doesn't work
- when you hit the box some of the weapons clips are clear (hamr, dsr. 50 were some that I saw)
- m1216 shotgun is a four shot then it should be twisted but on here it twists after ever shot
- the python always reloads 2 bullets doesn't matter if you shot 1 or 5
- one time I threw a monkey but the zombies that were near me didn't follow it (it worked fine after that though)
- if you have monkeys and buy semtexes you lose your monkeys and don't get semtexes
- the smr is automatic I thought it was a semi-auto (I haven't played bo2 in a while so I be wrong but...)
- the ammo on some of the guns is wrong not how many they hold just how much you give like when I PaP my five-seven and it only had 120 rounds your suppose to get 200 (not that big of a deal but just saying)
- the guns on the wall prices are not correct why does the m14 cost $600 and the mp5 cost $500 last I checked the mp5 was much better (at least for zombies)

This map was a blast and so close to the real one!!!

Also, zombies on fire aren't supposed to explode when you stab them with the Galvaknuckles

I helped Tito a lot with the guns and sounds on this map, shouldnt I be credited? ??? And I was told, that I would test new update before it goes here in site, so I feel disappointed, since there are still bugs with guns, that I noticed right off the bat.
Played with DuaL, Scotch and Monkey and we were flying with twins:

Found a couple of bugs:
1) Misty has man grunts when Using the "Taser Knuckles"

2) "Taser Knuckles" have a REALLY slow Animation

3) Zombies explode in a chain reaction.

4) Double tap has the wrong shader since its not 2.0

5) MP5 still has the silencer on its model.

6) the RaygunMK2 has the wrong laser color before Pap and does not have the impact sound or graphics

7) I saw Hitman's Picture, there is just too much Misty in the game

And Finaly, When did treyarch patch the Chicom and the RaygunMK2 to be full auto, i gotta play BOII and check my patches

The map is almost there ;)

there is no "official" shader for DT1.0 in BO2, would look a bit odd if he used on from BO1 or waw

plus it looks near identical to the other anyway

On a side note, are you aware that you don't have the electric cherry jingle on electric cherry? You actually have the motd speed cola jingle on it instead.

Yeah, the perk machines defintely had jingles. You could clearly make them out too if you stood near them long enough, especially the Jugg one which was pretty clear. It only plays a few seconds of each actual jingle though but it is the most recognisable part of the proper jingles so the player notices.

My opinion? They have jingles, but I don't classify them as jingles, but rather as musical remake of the jingles. But with that in mind, does this mean that in BO3 we may see a full jingle for Electric Cherry? Who knows, but I sure want to see one!

There are some bug in this map:
1) when you hord up the zombies in the stamin up area sometimes one o more zombies don't follow you and go where is lava.
2) In my second game i recived 3 guns  after hitting the box and on this map there isn't mule's kick.
3) When you take saccel's charge and then go to insert on the table you recive the ammo of the gun you have when you insert the saccel's charge on the table.You can use this glich to have unlimited ammo.

Sorry for my bad English.

P.S. This map is Beautiful and i made 35 rounds with the easter egg accomplished

Love this map. Love just about everything about it. Especially since I don't have a 360 or PS3 to play Black Ops 2 Zombies. But one thing that disappointed me was I literally accidentally beat the map. I wasn't meaning to beat it, I'm actually more interested in getting to higher rounds. Anybody know if you can actually avoid going to the facility where the game ends?

hey guys

i recently bought world at war to play with a friend and find all these maps just awesome!!
But i got a problem while most of the maps work i can't get this one to work somehow. I got the ugx map manager and i can download it but after i click on it it opens the manager but doesn't appear on the list therefore i can't play it?
Can anybody help me out ? I would really appreciate it thanks in advance!!

In the bank i somehow opened the vault and inside i found a valve, it allowed me to activate it and it spun, nothing happened for a while so i left real quick, on my way back, text appeared that said "Plane Activated", the room is now sealed and i see no plane, any suggestions?

Now I Done This Completely By Accident I Was Just Trying To Get To A High Round And Accidentally Done This I Will Like To Give Credit To My Friend Edward / RektM8FC Is His WAW Username So Please Give Credit To Him Because He Helped Me With This.

Spoiler!!!
Step 1: Once The Vault In The Bank Has Opened Go Into It And Activate The Plane By Spinning The Wheel. (The Vault Opens At Random From My Knowledge Just Keep Checking It)

Step 2: You Will Now Be Welcomed To A Cloud Of Smoke Coming Though Town

Step 3: After The Smoke Is Cleared It Should Say Plane Activated

Step 4: Go To The Plane And Take A Trip By Going On The Plane  :nyan:

Step 5: After The Plane Has Landed You Should Be In The MOTD (Mob Of The Dead) Cafe.

Step 6: Wait A While Till It Says Plane Activated (Or Something Close To That)

Step 7: After You Have Killed The Hordes Of Zombies And The Writing Saying Plane Activated Appears Go To The Wheel Next The Door That's Been Blocked Off

Step 8:  (I Ain't Sure If In Multiplayer U Have To Click The Wheel At The Same Time Because Me And My Friend Edward Just Clicked It At The Same Time)After You Have Left What Should Happen Is You Will Find Your Self In The Tranzit Bus With The Robot Bus Driver And He Will Drive You Back Into Town.

Step 9: Wait A While Then Randomly It Should Appear Plane Activated And You Can Take The Plane Once Again.

Step 10: Repeat Step 4 And Go To The Plane And Ride It

Step 11: This Time You Wont Be Able To Leave.

Step 12: Go Around To The End Of The Room And Find The Workbench Before There Was A Blue Blanket Over The Bench Now There Should Be A Satchel Charge Pick It Up And Go Back To The Wheel Next To The Place The Door Is Ment To Be On MOTD.

Step 13: Use The Wheel Once Again And You Will Be Telepored Back To The Town.

Step 14: Go Into The Bar And On A Workbench At The Bottom Of The Bar With A Corpse On It. (You Cant Find This Unless You Have Got Satchel Charge So If You See A Blue Blanket Over The Bench Its Properly Because You Haven't Got The Satchel Charge)

Step 15: Stick The Charge Onto The Corpse And Step Back And Wait Until It Blows Up This Shouldn't Take Long Only Around 10 Seconds.

Step 16: The Smoke Should Come Back And After That It Should Say Plane Activated.

Step 17: Take The Plane Once Again And This Time Something Special Should Happen.

Step 18: Music Will Start Playing So Be Ware Of Copyright And As The Plane Fly's The World And The Town Will Begin Fading.

Step 19: You Will Be Bought To This New Area And Have To Survive There For A While.

Step 20: You Have Now Survived There For Enough Time And Will Begin Flying Into The Air And The Game Will End.

Step Extra: It Will Come Up With The Normal Ending Screen And You Won In ? Rounds For Me I Won In 30

I'm Pretty Sure Me And My Friend Are The First To Figure This And We Done It By Accident Don't Worry We Did Do It Again To Test It.

Pretty similar, the custom map is slightly larger than bo2 town. Does make it quite easy

there "is" a egg in this map

MOTD was not in "town"... that is the definition of a easter egg, and building the plane to get to it is the definition of a "series of tasks" egg

Me and my friend F1Ne5TGamer have played this map and it does look very good but who would really want to play a remake of bo2 town anyways? Like we could just get bo2 on G2A for like 15$ and town is a free map so it defeats the purpose to play a map with the weapons from them..... It would have been better with 2 map releases as "Original" and as "Custom" and in the custom to be custom weapons, perks, and textures. Take a look at Nuketown multiplayer map. At first it was like the 80's texture then 2020's texture and now its like way beyond itself. You could have at least done better weapons though and perks.... Anyways me and F1Ne5TGamer are going to be recording a video or livestreaming our gameplay on a day that we don't have to work and we will be seeing if we can start a challenge of "The Worlds Highest Round" on this bo2 custom zombies remade map. If anyone would like to watch I will post a new reply about it on here or you can get updates when you add me on skype @ProTecT_WEIP33 (name might say ProTecT_Legend) thanks. Anyone who would like to show their highest round (Legit ONLY) I am accepting the challenge to beat that! :)

Yes You need Either Winrar or 7Zip (i think, I use Winrar)

I just tried the map and there is 2 large issues. Solo revive doesn't work for me and the hell hounds dont spawn,meaning I cannot get any further as the round doesn't end

Ignore all of that it works fine now

what? this has nothing to do with the files. I'm saying if anyone has another folder named nazi_zombie_town, this is going to extract straight into that and make a broken map. You can't have twp maps named nazi_zombie_town unless you rename one of the folders. And once you rename the folder you can no longer play multiplayer with anyone playing the normal foldername. It causes a mismatch, gg.

You can name your fastfiles whatever the hell you like but before you release your map to the world, take the time to give it a unique folder name.

It's a good point. I wonder if checking for this in the installer would be an easy possibility? Maybe with a message, you already have this map, delete or rename it here to prevent corruption? Maybe open the folder for the user to easily find it? Many ideas come to mind, could use option buttons for what the user wants to do, with a default one, maybe rename old folders?

I figure this convo don't belong here, sorry. Amazing remake though. The mapper has true skill with matching fx, lighting, and mapping.

When the UGX Launcher submission page for maps is up and running we can run a check to see if we already have a map with the same folder name and tell you to rename it. Problem solved :)

Great map, but three problems 1) no 500 points at start of round 2). 600 points for M14? - you used the modified Gewehr 43, didn't you. 3) Power for perks? Otherwise, it's a fine map.
