Title: Stairs and Pathnodes, and elevator

so i am currently making a new map because i made my map THEN added zomies and i got easily confused so im just gonna restart. If i have stairs in the map and i want the zombies to follow the stairs do i have the put the pathnode on the stairs? and if so how close should they be?
Also i coded in an elevator and when i go to the trigger to activate and take the elevator, it shows the hand symbol and i thought maybe i had to turn the  power on but it didnt work. Is there a way to fix this?

Where ever you want zombies to go they need path nodes so yes you will need to node the stairs. It depends on how big the stairs are to figure out the gap between each one

I can't help with the elevator cause I can't  script haha

Alright thanks, also ive been adding volumes to an older map and the problem is you can only make a squar ebox or rectangle out of the volume. what is my map looks like this?

use multiple volumes for the zone

just use the space bar to copy it and shape them as needed to cover the entire area

Just copy the volume and make it fit and name it the same as the one that it's connected too.

Also, the map have both risers and window breaker zombies but not in the same volume area. Like volume 1,2 are window breakers, and 3 and 4 are not could this affect my zombie snot spawning? Im currently on another topic figuring out too

nope, I use only risers, but on my other map have similar to you

you need to show us your KVPs and how you set up your zones in yourmapname.gsc
