Wow! Very impressed -- this map really deserves more attention than what it's been getting!
It's pretty damn amazing to see an actual modified BO map, with new perks nonetheless!
I really like the concept of cordoning off and modifying various sections of maps. There's a lot of potential in that.
If you plan on continuing this style of modding, I'd recommend having a look at CotD's Lighthouse as an area. Moon's biodome w/ bounce pads turned on would also be interesting. Hell, even the Kino stage would be fun!
Of course adding more custom perks or guns would also be a bonus.
And may I ask exactly what the potentials and limitations are for BO modding? I doubt a full-blown custom map is possible, but I'd like to know what may actually be feasible ;D
Yes I wish blackops modding was more popular, but the old waw engine seems to be the bomb because it has radiant. Custom maps are great and all but the engine doesn't get updated and its the first zombies game, where treyarch was just testing it to see if it would get any popular. by the time world at war came out, people had to buy "the new 3d shader graphics card" or whatever it wasBO1 modding isn't popular because Activision/Treyarch gave us half-assed tools, they are still called 'beta' after 5 years...and there's only so much you can do with the stock BO1 maps before it gets boring... :-\

This gives me an error about missing image, specialty_divetonuke_zombies or something... I don't need the DLC to play this do I? If so that's stupid if its a mod for a stock map

Alright, I have the file, thanks :D But I cant add it to an IWD already there, WinRAR and 7zip wont let me drag and drop files into an IWD, it just comes up with a "no" symbol circle with line through it, and IWD isn't a compression option when trying to add it through extracting and rezipping.check its not set to "read only"

How could I get the file into the IWD?
I wonder if there is any way to modify radiant so it can be used to mod bo1 and bo2...its not radiant that needs changing

First time I played this, it freezed for some seconds at round 9, but after then np.thanks hachuwaka, my friend made the majority of this mod. we do have other mods in the works

it looks very good based on the picture but is it 1 room or did you do any other mapping in this?It's a mod for blackops zombies, and it's just the war room, the inspiration was taken from blackops 2 survival maps where they close off portions of the map

A while ago in the ugx chat I went on a rant about making blackops maps using xmodels. Everybody thought i was crazy and claimed someone tried before and failed. Due to my determination, I was able to get a working xmodel map, but due to the impossibility of spawning path nodes I couldn't get the zombies to move. And we are trying and will eventually finish getting dead ops arcade to work with zombiemode, so that we can have the path nodes on the flat surfaces there.

I have a full custom small pentagon map in the works that we are going to do for an xmodel, but that is only if we can solve path nodes.
I can see issue with G-spawn here, since you spawn everything through scriptEventually someone is going to give me a custom compiled ff that is just path nodes and a blank area, so that there is less risk for g_spawn. Atleast i'm hoping they are.
