Sup guys, I am currently making a BO2 Grief gamemode for World at War. Currently only works on Der Riese. Also this is free for all grief, not 2v2 grief because I thought it would be funner.
Things already done:
-all zombies are running from round 1
-two first room doors are open from the start (Der Riese)
-power is on from the start
-removed carpenters
-removed dog rounds
-changed power ups into power downs - max ammo unloads players clips, nuke takes 10% of your points, double points makes you earn half the normal points for 30 seconds, insta kill gives zombies double health for 30 seconds
-power downs don't effect the player that picks them up
-when you down you bleedout instantly and enter spectating mode
Things to do:
-have teleporters already linked and pack a punch open from the start
-have this work on all 4 stock maps (currently only works on Der Riese)
-make it so shooting players slows them down and knifing them pushes them
-make it so upgraded guns slow players down longer and bowie knife pushes players further
-make it so grenades and betties hurt players
-get perks to light up (currently the perks are on but they don't light up as if they are on)
-have all other players earn points when someone downs
-if all players down, all zombies currently spawn will die, then all players spawn back in and the round restarts, instead of the game ending
-if there is only one player left and they finish the round, the game ends

you should add that when the power downs are grabbed, that player will get the power up (except for nuke)
(ie. other players loose ammo= grabber earns max ammo)
Molitoves lock down perks and each player has to unlock it with 2000 points except for thrower
Hacker device to change price for a gun (but after 5 buys from that gun it returns to normal)
if you like my idea's I'll suggest more ;)

I was thinking of making it that the person that picks up the power up should actually get the power up, but I would think that would make them too powerful :p I like it how it is right now. If you have any more ideas, that would be cool!

No I am not a fanboy of Jbird632, I've used the name jbird for as long as I can remember, and now we just both happen to be in the custom zombies community :p

some stuff here seems annoying rather than fun - early runners, power downs. The player that picks up the power up should receive its effects, if nothing is gained, you may as well just take them out entirely.

the bleeding out instantly sounds like a bit too much imo.

You should add a hard / easy mode where the hard mode is what you've already done and the easy mode is normal zombies except the doors and pap open after a few rounds and the zombies run normally. I'm just saying this because some people obiously don't like all that action from the start. I'd also let the player bleed out still so they can screw with other players while down. Just some suggestions :)

This mod sounds great, although I have one suggestion (but it's completely up to you):
Once you finish grief mode, it'd be nice to also have a 8 player survival mode as well. The difference between 8 player/4 player zombies on the survival mode would be the difficulty (obviously), and perhaps 8 player survival/grief would be available in the 4 standard maps for WaW. To top it off, maybe even throw in a patch for custom maps in the future that this community will make. (:

To me runners from the start is awesome for this because the low rounds just drag out too long. And for the powerups, your bonus for picking up the power up is not being affected by it and having your enemies suffer ;)

For now I'm only going to focus on one mode, but maybe later on once I perfect this mod I can add a normal mode where nothing has been altered. Players are suppose to bleed out instantly because it is free for all so no revives.

The thing is, even with this mod I am pretty sure it can only be up to 4 players. I don't think there's any way at all to allow 8 players, I wish you could though.

Teleporters are now linked and Pack-a-Punch is now open from the start of the game! Looks sick AF when you start up the game. Only problem is 3 power ups spawn at the same time; I would like to make it so that only 1 power up spawns.

No, and I am no longer working on this mod because I have switched to making it on Black Ops 1 instead of World at War. I will soon upload the most recent version of this mod.

Don't worry! The reason I stopped production of this on World at War was to make an even better version of this on Black Ops 1!

It will eventually be on all maps, right now it's only Kino and Five because that's all I have on PC

Still it might still be good to have one for world at war too, just finish one or the other first

Actually I'm planning on making it so you earn 10 points each time you attack a player. The zombies version of a hitmarker!
