ORBIT...                         O.R.B.i.T.

Organic Recovery and Biological Treatment

From  TUDARK the maker of (THE MORGUE) and M.A.K.E C E N T S the maker of (ILS, LETS GO HOME)
Story:
The scientist on the space station found something floating in space. They should have never opened it... They panicked, tried locking away the virus, and then teleported home, thinking they were safe... But it followed them and and the virus spread across the world! Were here to find out how this all started, and if there is a cure...

It works like other wall weapons except if the weapon you are holding, when you go to buy the weapon on the wall box, is a primary weapon or upgraded, it will put that weapon in the wall weapon box.

Added perk sell back feature and modulating perk hud so we don't have to put a limit on perks now.Still need animation, sounds, and fix sell back price.

Here is a update on my orbit gunbox , its still being worked on I just need to put a list of weapons on the display panel the ones on there you cant see so they will be changed.


Features so far:
- New wall weapon system that trades current weapon to wall
- Sell back perks at half price (due to perk limit, limit unknown yet, based on hud usage)
- Custom box (communal, timed)
- Communal Pap (timed)
- Arsenal (weapons drop for 60 seconds, or till you die again maybe, when you die)
- Closeable doors, and automatic doors
- Blops perks
- Regular perks
- Perk Randomizer
- Group spawn randomizer (spawn together but start in different areas each time you play)
- Single player quick revive spawns with player
- Random starting players (starting/laststand pistol specific)
- Change what you are wearing with multiple viewarms
- Custom zombie entry points

More Features Planned:
- Teleporters
- Zombies follow players through teleporters
- Custom guns, not models, just things they do
- Custom perks
- Campaign style EE with side EEs
- Custom traps

Gotta agree with Stevie on this one... this looks amazing! Hopefully it does not feature stock weapons though as it would be silly to have a WWII weapon set on a futuristic map.

Can't wait to see more of this one.

Yeah we will add better weapons but also this map will feature teleport system to earth to 3 other maps , so they will be very different.

u should make the earth spin like in interstellar so it gives the illusion of the space station spinning and due to the fast rotation anti-gravity space station is not erected (for example: a car going fast in a loop)  :rainbow:

Looks great. I love the custom text you have on it. For the moving pap machine, will it be like cotd, and have some way for the player to locate it or will it be a shot in the dark?

The entire space station spins, or looks like it anyway, and there are plans for more than just that. Some out of control spinning that must be stabilized, maybe. Only tested slightly. Still working on integration. Will have to upload short video when working, but have much much work to do. We are using a texture instead of an earth model right now, so it only spins on the north american side. Might find model for better spinning then, maybe.

For the moving pap machine, will it be like cotd, and have some way for the player to locate it or will it be a shot in the dark?

The pap doesn't move, yet, just if you leave your weapon in it, another player can take it after 5 seconds. Not sure if the pap machine will be included in the random positioning or in the same place all the time... I guess I could give it a few places it could spawn...

This map/mod is being designed to try and keep track of the guns more and make it more realistic in that sense, where anyone can grab a gun and you can close doors, and stuff like that, while still being fair to the player and remembering it is a game, and also we are trying to make each time a person plays it is a different experience. The wall weapons are in random places and the main EE is planned to be random too, meaning, not always done in the same order... Planned anyway. We will also be working on an objective system that should help guide the EE a little, but not too much.

A.T.M I've been playing Alien Isolation on the PC, and the pictures you have remind so much of it O_o well of course since it's on a ship, but good job guys I know both of you will make this map great. I believe you (tudark) released Morgue and I really enjoyed that map can't wait to see what this one will bring to the table.

Im happy to hear all the good comments,this is going to be very custom based . If you like original waw maps maybe this isnt for you but if your sick of seeing wooden gun boxes and stuff like that then this should deliver that.

Thanks Potz. I am pretty confident in most of the things we want to do. If we can just get some help in the futuristic weapons department and maybe some animation help, we should be okay. We've received some good help to get to where we are now, so I am sure someone will help us, or we will figure it out then. I have alternative ideas planned if we don't.

P.S. all the stuff in the features list works. The future stuff needs to be worked on yet.

Wowza is about all I can say at this point! You guys make a great team. If everything works out the way it is describe this is going to be one epic map that tips the scale on originality!

 Very excited to see you two working together again, after playing the Morgue I know I can expect some great things from you 2  :D

It looks good, but you mentioned that if the gun is upgraded it will put that weapon on the wall. Can you buy the weapon back? Of course, if its an upgraded weapon that you are buying surely it would cost more than the regular weapon. Would this be the case?

Yes, it cost 5000 for an upgraded weapon off the wall currently. I made the price be controlled in the add_zombie_weapon function, so we can change it for each weapon, if we decide that some should not be more expensive, or should be cheaper... We have made the ammo cost 1/2 the gun cost for the most part.

Also, these are not the guns that will be in the map of course. Many people have offered help, and we are very grateful for them. Thank you to you all. We will be working on a list as soon as we get can.

although I think its innovative, I think you should stick with the normal but with the UGX wallbuys from requiem (unless you dont have the beta) but then again I just thought that if you want to train in a spot and you dont want the gun provided in the spot " just stick your weapon in the slot and your problems will be gone."

well, my suggestion is a little outside the box but take it as food for thought, now personally i'd like to see the boss as an alien, im really unsure what the boss is planned or if there is one already but imagine the potential, now as some people have said this reminds them of alien isolation, maybe just maybe if it's somehow possible between two great people and the community maybe this boss could be...wait for it....A XENOMORPH yes thats right, now you're probably thinking why? well because instead of the usual brutus or fat zombie, why not have something a little more space related?

If we find someone that can make that happen, we will fit it in the map. We do have some plans for bosses, but we want to make them work before we post them.

I'm intrigued by the scrolling perk symbols, does that help with limits much?
Something I would suggest would be to slow the scrolling down a little as it could get distracting and/or difficult to keep track of which perks you do and don't have

I do plan on trying to slow it down a bit. Just doesn't look as good slower, but it was recommended to fade them in and out on the ends, so I will add that then too.
It helps with the hud limit because I only have 4 hud elements for the perks at any given time.

If you think this is distracting, I am not done yet, lol. The plan is to make it look like an molecule/atom image is rotating behind each perk shader... If we have the resources for it. I will still only be using one hud element per, but more shaders.

Edit: Been thinking, and I might start the first perk off screen and then fade them out to the right...

Will this map have new shaders, pap camos and such? Would be shame to see stock textures to be used in this map :P
With Tus mapping and Makes scripting, this should be fun map to see escalating :)

Updated hud again. Added an idea for the perk shaders and more distracting stuff:

Thanks, this was talked about, but 99.9% sure we are not going to make that for this map. It will change the game play and design too much. But there is that .1% chance that it could get included, maybe close to the end of the game...?

sevengpluke and bwc have helped a tremendous amount with the halo guns, and other things, because those guns are from the future, and people wanted futuristic guns. But there are limits here, so we will mix in some other weapons as well, before we hit them, hopefully. We'll do our best to include the cool ones.

I have heard of some other map being worked on that is halo specific though, so it will prob include even more halo things, so keep an eye out for that release. (That is all I know about it)  ;)

tudark has been working on getting as many custom weapons as possible, but I don't think we are at a point to make a list yet. There will be non waw starting and last stand pisols, some halo guns, and modified upgraded weapons (some with special powers). Maybe in a month or two we'll have a firm list.

I have no feelings one way or the other towards Halo, I've never even played it. I just found it odd how he changed every single thing on his profile to Halo related stuff after seeing a pic of a Halo gun :lol:

Here is the box for o.r.b.i.t.

The box gives the player 3 seconds to take the weapon, then anyone can take it.
ME-Tudark made the box, And Makecents scripted it. Still working on it. Thinking about textures, tweaking the box, making different fx that like obits around the guns I think.

This style fx are going to be added to guns, mostly upgraded guns. This is the ae4 that I dl'd from rollonmath42's youtube. I added fx for barrel and reload. I added impact fx too (not shown in video), but not sure if I will make a new fx or use default ones, limits and all.

The ppsh will be in the map, in a place that fits the theme of the map. Prob not changing the waw one. If we were to get anyt new models for the ppsh, it would probably only be for the upgraded version.

We are still using the single wield pistol because when putting in the akimbos originally my viewarms were really jacked up, I figured I didn't include something and the default viewarms were messing with me. I then learned the issues with world models and waw limitations on akimbos and I lost interest... I'm sure I can play the fx just fine, if I got the viewarms to show right which I haven't spent any time on yet. I'll make it a point to try again tonight with different viewarms, but I am unsure at this time if we will keep the akimbos in.

How does the community feel about having akimbo guns that fire simultaneously and don't show akimbo in world model (third person)? If they like it anyway, then we will keep it in, once I get it in that is...

Thats every akimbo ever atm seen in maps (discluding few) I dont mind atleast, if they work, that is

Personally i have never chosen to use akimbo guns in zombies but some people do, and for firing simultaneously and not showing in third person i don't think it would be a problem if people wan't them.

You guys should get bluntstuffy and any one else who is willing to help on board because because this project is very ambitious and requires alot of support from the community to be a great map.

Dont get me wrong I think you guys have done a great job so far but moving forward you will need some help from experienced mappers as some things like dual wields can take months on its own to make properly, so why not enlist the help of someone who has already managed to do it ;)

Dont get me wrong I think you guys have done a great job so far but moving forward you will need some help from experienced mappers as some things like dual wields can take months on its own to make properly, so why not enlist the help of someone who has already managed to do it ;)

Lol, blunt has actually been helping, a great deal is the aspects of education and assets. I was just joking with him because his stuff is so awesome. I just haven't shared the things he was helping with yet, because I haven't determined if I want it to be a surprise, and it is not in a presentable form yet.

Those were just test anims. The bolt doesn't even move yet. Gonna make the actual fire anims today and the reload if all goes as planned today.

Pretty sure they are not 'true' akimbos lol, I'm guessing they are sync reload and sync fire is not possible on them either, correct me if I'm wrong.

They are dual wield with individual clip ammo and firing, as of now. No sync fire was the goal here. We have not gotten to reloads yet, or seen what issues we will encounter if trying to fire one and reload another yet. But will update after some more work. That was basic 10 line working script. With basic test anims. Plan was not to fire one and reload other anyway, cause we were going to make reload anim that includes both hands (more realistic i think) but will be quicker than both reloading of course. But I will test it anyway and see, but not the plan. Sync reload and sync fire are planned to be incorporated into script, even if I have to do what I don't want to do to make it happen.  ;D Could end up doing only sync reload though if all else fails. If so we will share clip and just double it then.

I didn't mean only sync fire (like mine and most people's are for example) I meant with the left gun and right gun shooting independently like that (which incidentally you can do with the ones I sent you if you want, I just preferred the sync version to being able to fire both individually, but not simultaneously) you probably can't fire both at the same time if you click the left and right mouse buttons together, but still a nice job  :)

How can we do that with your p2011s? The way we are doing this currently I don't think we can, that I know of. You'll have to pm me then how you would do it. I never saw anyone have individual control before, I would be interested in other ways. (I did watch otw vid today though, and his are awesome, true akimbo.) We would prob need source files to edit the models on yours to do it the way we are doing it. That part is over my head anyway, Seven does all that. You will be able to fire at same time, if we decide to add it then, but we prob won't, unless I discover something new to make them true akimbo. But to answer what I think you are getting at, no, they are not handled completely individually of each other. One at a time works right now. And thanks.

Thanks , we are trying to make this different than most  and hopefully we achieve that.I hope people  realise that I only started mapping in like September and I had never done anything before, but me and makecents have both got 1 map out each and have got the ability to pull this off.

*Planet Reach, lol. Fun fact of the day: Reach was glassed m80... In fact New Alexandria got directly hit with a glassing, if you were to go back there it would be barren... :poker:

Thanks man! The script currently supports any single shot weapon, but the key is in the weapon files, anims, and models. So any models and anims that SevenGPLuke sets up for me, I can add one line of code and it will work, such as, 357, M1911, shot guns, m1's (lol), or anything else that's single shot.

Lol, not with this script. But I will be making a csc to handle dual wield sync fire fx also then. So you can do that then if you like, with sync fire and sync reload.

Hmmmm, if I made them single shot and then alternate really quickly. I will have to try this... Then I might be able to support what looks like auto fire...

I think there should be steel windows from moon, but doesnt give out points. Im ok with no windows but I think this is a solid alternative

Since you have new and more map appropriate ways for the zombies to spawn in I don't see the need for boarded windows, unless you have players teleporting down to earth or something then it might be ok use there.

We hit a few limits on ORBIT and have been working through them. I am having some difficulty with the sound one though. Anyone have some advice or help with ignoring sounds in an ignore file, which sounds I can ignore, and the way I should format the ignore line, or any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I've tried ignoring the csv, the sfx, the sound, and the loaded_sfx, but I have not been successful in ignoring enough sounds yet. I no longer call the weapons soundalias since we are not using the stock weapons, but I will prob need a few sounds from it, and that worked for a while but we are over it again, cause of the weapons. I know there has to be many many more sounds I can get rid of... I would hate to have to share sounds for these weapons, but I guess that is always an option too?

Thanks for the info. I've been getting some good advice about sounds. The funny thing is I deleted everything in my weapons.csv and I was still having issues. The problem is fixed for now thanks to someone sharing there modified zone_source. Thank you to those that helped!

Yeah I had trouble too, if you go to your zone_source folder, you can just comment out the sound aliases that are called, then use a different one, copy the sounds you still want into that (from weapons, or dlcshare etc) instead. Thats what ive done

Now im at the memory limit, which is even more annoying as stock quotes seem to make little difference lol

We hope. We don't want to make three if we hit limits and fixing them takes away from the rest of the maps, but if we can, that is the plan... Prob decrease the other map sizes to a point, then reduce the number if we have too.

How is progress? Much longer till release?

Its still moving, were still working on it. I hope we can release before the end of the year, due to limited time to work on it, summer coming, and unknown complications that could come up. We have fixed the fx and sound limit issues that we were having and shouldn't have too much trouble getting in the rest of what we want fx and sound wise, (thanks to elf and Tom). We're still making the map, making new scripts, developing new ideas, learning new interesting things. We have a bunch of brand new custom weapons thanks to

SevenGPLuke (porting and animating) and bwc6693 (porting and animating), and yezugan (models)
, and some others guns from other games.

We're doing a lot of different things all at the same time, which is a little confusing and slows us down a bit, but we take help when we can get it  :D... We're also just trying to enjoy the development process, cause that is why we do this of course, it's fun to make stuff. We prob won't play the map after it releases other than for bugs, lol.

Thanks! We do not at this time. Some days I think it will be next year, and others I feel like next month, lol. Hopefully summer doesn't slow us down, but it could. I would like to be done before bo3, cause if not, that will postpone us a bit, due to me playing it prob, lol. Cause this one looks pretty good.

The alien eggs? Did you guys actually do that yourself because I know like 2 months ago I had n1 animate and rig it for me. He, of course, never sent the anims or model but he showed me once he was done.

Not sure. Someone once said they had one and were going to share it, but guess they got busy. If they do end up sharing, I think we can make it fit theme wise, but we will see about waw limit wise, as we already have quite a few different types of "zombies" in the map now. We're currently using moon zombies which has a few types, that I have slightly edited, and then we have at least 3, maybe a 4th other type, if we end of using the fourth one. One type will have more than one variant as well, more than one way to kill you, and multiple anim types. But still, it would be awesome to throw in a Xenomorph, and some alien references...

As a big fan of the Alien movies it would be freaking awesome I loved Alien Isolation and the map reminds me a bit of Alien Isolation so that's why I thought it would be an awesome idea if it were possible it is easier said than done I know but would be an awesome boss round instead of dogs it would be Xenomorphs. If it can't be done I understand I'm still hyped for this map would be awesome though for some Alien easter eggs. :D

The beta will be limited to mappers, scripters, and long time community members and those that have helped along the way. If we can't get enough responses or volunteers we will then be going out to others in the community, but still limited, not open. Main reason for prob not having open beta is that we are looking for constructive criticism and proposed solutions to any found bugs rather than just opinions or typical complaining. Only reason we will open beta is if we don't get any bug reports, but then we will prob just release it by then. And that is impossible, lol.

Thanks! Those zombies will spawn during rounds with a couple special modifications, not bosses but not as easy as normal zombies, so there will be some difficulty there. But don't worry, those are not the only special zombies... ;) We have successfully, not without challenge, put in three planet maps and one space map. Although our initial design has changed a bit as we progressed, due to preference and issues, we think it is turning out for the better! The design now is that the space station teleports you to 3 different facilities, owned by ORBIT of course.  (Nice user name btw)

I must say, that is absolutely amazing, but it's quite annoying with that orbit being pulled offscreen. Still cool, just I wish it could be adjusted. :-\

If I knew anything about video editing, that probably wouldn't have happened, lol. I tried to fade it, and the software I was using did that, and I said f it, lol. But thanks.

Thanks. We've not worked on Orbit much this summer, but 90 percent of the mapping has been finished for some time. We have dealt with limits, and tudark redesigned the planet maps due to errors we were encountering, which came out better than before imo, and it is looking like we can fit in what we've done so far.

Gonna add this perk (still wip) and one more on top of electric cherry and the basic 8, waw + deadshot, mulekick, phd, and staminup. When hit it shocks really close zombies, the damage still counts, and there is a 10 second delay till it can be used again, indicated by the flashing shader.

I'm gonna pick one of the following Split-Mag, and Shock-Nade
Split-Mag - Gives one bullet back for every two bullets you fire.
Shock-Nade - Holds and electrocutes the zombies for 5 seconds when hit with a grenade.

Will have both, yes. One is on reload, radius based on ammo percentage in clip, electric cherry. And this one is when you get hit, very small radius always, mostly used for that damn crawler that you don't see. The similarity is as similar as flopper really, that they all do an area affect, based on different conditions. I could have made it something else instead of electric, but I like electric, so... The fx may be changed to a blue pulse, with a woump sound, more emp like I would imagine, if I get the time, and have the room, and feel like making it. The original ZMP only activated to save the player from going down, and then you lost the perk.

And fyi, just because they are in the map, doesn't mean they will be equally easy to get these perks. I am guessing that many will play orbit, and never see these perks, and even more only see one of them, and few will get them all.

Edit: I also find this perk is equally annoying, when I don't mean to kill a zombie, and they hit me and die... round over. Another difference from cherry, which you can also do, but have to reload to make that mistake. So choosing your perks is more strategy based. And there is no limit in orbit, and you can sell the perks back you don't want.

I mustn't have been concentrating when I first watched the vid and thought it was also based on reloading ::)

Sounds like a nice idea (I thought of a perk like before actually) but yeh I think some different fx would be better to differentiate it from EC a bit more.

I just finished zoning the three planet maps. I didn't put in doors or windows for zombies to spawn behind yet, just out in the open, but everything is spawning and working properly so far.

I also added electric cherry and zmp, and prob will add split-mag, perks.

I also just incorporated a deathmachine and infinite ammo powerup. Thanks to bwc66930 and jzob.

Some things are taking a little longer because I have decided to completely re-script them, so I am not many others scripts, specifically broken ones, and I've customized a ton of scirpts I'll prob release then that make modding a lot simpler.

Edit: I also added the ability to trade weapons with other players in coop by looking at them and being close and holding the use button.

LOL, no, both players have to hold the use button for 2 seconds, it was 3 but I changed it to 2. And all you have to do is look away or jump and it cancels it.

We plan on whatever weapons people help us out with. We've had the same list of guns for some time, and get a new one here and there from friends. Mostly consisting of custom weapons, and guns from other games. With a few from other cods.

The map is at about 500mb for dl, without sounds yet, and I have been trying to bring that down, but with all the custom guns, zombies, and textures, it's tough without loosing quality, or removing things and still maintaining balance and feel. I've removed all images and have been putting them back in one at a time to make sure we don't have anything were not using. Downsized and combined what I can. Some guns use a lot of images, at about 5mb a piece, so we have only been using those that get "fixed", or are so cool we have to keep them, lol.

So the list of weapons changes as I try to balance assets with game play.

I would hope not. It's portalled pretty decent, whenever I finish up the last sector. There are some areas that take me down to 61 fps, if I try looking into 4 sectors at a time, across the way, but I typically run at 91 everywhere, which is the max my pc runs, and don't think any area took me below 50fps.

I already had that video, I just didn't share it, but it showed fps with textures and fx playing, relevant to his comment.

Edit. I do make a lot of videos I guess. It's one method of communication with those that I work on this map with, and all the other stuff I make, and also lets me see the bigger picture as I make things... I have hundreds that I don't share publicly. And it's good for getting feedback. As far as orbit, no, there are a bunch of features I've never shared videos of. Like the randomized 4 digit code keycard stations, or the grav lifts, or the vacuum tubes, or the menu system, which may be next btw. I very rarely show a finished product in a video.

update ,ive quit this map due to being forced out by makecents when it was my idea for map. I purchased to cod games for the asstetts and exported hundreds to then share them for the map,now im being ignored and he don't want my involvement.So on that note im quitting zombie mapping. thanks to all the other people that helped and shared.

This ^ was unbeknownst to me. Last I heard from you was December. I was still waiting on the updated textures to say ORBiT instead of Atlas that you showed me before Christmas you were working on. We've talked about your new map since, but I wanted to finish ORBiT first. (I'll still script your new map for you, if you change your mind about leaving, just after) True I have not updated you with everything that changed while you were gone, and not responding to me due to personal things, but that is because it would have been pretty impossible, I stopped using our process after a few months. Plus once I got those textures from you, a couple perk machines from others, and finish the EE, the map is ready for alpha testing. You were also supposed to be looking for a pap machine model. It just seems no one has had time to do those things, including me. I was portalling and zoning the map as I could. Portalling done, but I still need to make spawn points for one more area.

I'm sorry you had to air this shit out here, you could have just contacted me. Thank you for all your help on the map, you did some awesome things, sorry for all the angles, and you are still credited 50/50, if I ever get around to finishing everything.



As for an ORBiT update

I think after months of troubleshooting, I may have fixed the "won't work in full screen" thing! Maybe. I'm gonna send it to a few friends to test when I can get time to wrap up a few things from testing. The goal we set out to reach has be challenging and we will prob fall slightly short of it. I had some surprises in mind that will not make it in ORBiT cause I just don't want to fight this map anymore. I'm just finishing up what is already in. We were successful with:
- 4 maps, 3 planet, and 1 space
- Randomized spawning, all players together
- New wall weapon system, randomized
- Several custom zombies
- Custom perks, with sell back features
- All my previous scripts added with an options menu at the beginning for the host to turn on and off including:
   - Arsenal
   - Player to player weapon trading
   - Communal Box options
   - Gun game and more...
- Randomized key code doors, auto doors, grav lifts, vacuum tubes,and close-able doors (still testing and troubleshooting pathing)
- Several EE's but not as many as I wanted. (I don't want to add more ents at this time, were at 900+ now at any given moment)
- Campaign style main EE
- And more little things, thanks to many members of the community, bwc, seven, Blunt, and Pawn were big helps to get pass a lot of hurdles.


Unfortunately while trying to fix the won't work in full screen thing, I ended up deleting a lot of models that added a decent amount of detail, and I have refrained from adding more back in. I hope the community can still enjoy the map once released.

Things left:
- Editing textures
- Adding spawn areas to one planet map
- Upgraded weapon files/models and camo
- The main EE ending scripted
- Find a pap machine model, and modify that script
- Get two models with on/off models for two new perks, with shaders
- Testing
- Maybe more detail added back in, unless it becomes troublesome

Testing meaning it's getting much closer to being finished? Just curious. I'm sure there's still A bunch to do, so take as much time as you need. I'm just excited to see that this map is still alive!

Yes sir. Turns out I have a bit more than I mentioned left, but progress is still being made when I have time. I might solicit the community for a few things to help the process, due to my limited time.

Thanks man. I've been a bit busy lately. Truthfully the map should have been finished already, just haven't found time or motivation. The alpha was released to some friends a couple weeks ago, without the end game or upgraded weapons or all huds finished, but it went okay. Got some good bug reports and ideas. Almost all those bugs are fixed, huds are finished, I fit in upgraded viewmodels, and I just have to script some things before beta, like the ending and some stuff. So whenever I get some time to do that, it will be probably a week after that it will be released. If things don't go too bad.

Here is pap camo's I am using for orbit. ORBiT stops working without the t4m every time I try to put something new in, so I am using existing materials, since I am trying to keep it working without needing the t4m. I went with the second pap texture mostly. What you think?

Well, you can get two other "player models" while playing ORBiT. One is a space suit and the other is still a little bit of a surprise to some and is unlocked through an ee. But you start out with the 4 waw characters.

As far as how to add them, I am sorry to tell you I don't know anymore than the scripting parts. Tudark with the help of some others, got the models ready to go in, and I just scripted things mostly. I personally didn't want to change the models because I didn't want to change all the sounds/vox's. Wouldn't seem right to me to have the default sounds with new player models... So we do have suits for the players to wear though, which these kind of look like too. Those models do look cool, I hope to see them in a map some day.

Almost there...

Will be looking for 3 or 4 player coop test teams if anyone has a team or can get 3 or 4 players together, let me know. ORBiT is heavy on the coop options and I have found most of the bugs in coop so far, so some more testing before release would be great!

I have a 4-player team that would be more than willing to test drive this map (in fact we never play zombies individually, we always play together) and identify bugs and glitches, so long as T4M is not required (because we never got to it to work on our PCs).

Sweet.  ;D I've been afraid for you to play it actually for those reasons, lol, but I'll finish up and send you what I intend to release hopefully before the weekend if that's cool. I was going to release today, but found some bugs and wanted to add some more things. (It does play without t4m since that is what the community seemed to want, even though sacrifices were made to make it work with out it.)

That sounds great, and scary, lol, so tired of troubleshooting this map, lol. I'm gonna add an easier difficulty yet to the two difficulties I just added, and do a little testing, but I hope to have it ready before Saturday night, maybe sooner.

I just want to thank Makecents for getting to the end of this map, he has been vey professional and has took him a long time to get things to work.On the other hand I was not so professional with my detailing, I went overboard for a game that couldn't handle it. Makecents has had to strip back to a good basic form of the map that still looks good, im sure people will love the features he has put in place.  Hopefully I can come back with a better detailed map with the bo3 modtools.

Yes, I know of that, I feel like we need more mappers now. If I can get some tutoring, I can probably make something special but, not now.

I would love to but I just can't figure it out very well. But if you can help me out thats very appreciated but I don't want to start yet. The idea is out there somewhere. Plus I make trailers but will try to map once again in the future.

Sucks to imagine that when bo3 mod tools will come out, the majority of the people will shift to them, leaving WaW and the other awesome potential in its mods. Especially since many people can't have bo3 on their pc (myself included).

I'm in same boat for now. My pc screams playing bo3.

I would change a lot more if I felt like working on it more, lol. The map has evolved tremendously, and what it has, is thanks to all the great help from everyone. They are probably as crucial of their work as I am, or more so, and prob would want to change it also. But at some point, we have to put the pens down, and release the map. The pens are down... almost.

I don't know shadows, but the ee isn't really hard or that long I don't think, but it will take you through every part of the map if you follow it. I've been given some advice to liven it up, with more randomizations. ORBiT is designed to not be anymore tedious than necessary, and to randomize as much as possible so that each play though is like a new experience.

We hope you enjoy it this coming week.

Lol, well that depends on the results of some testing that should happen tonight, but the plan is tomorrow night.

Hey no rush, if there is bugs, it gets fixed. the masterpiece is for the mappers to create, so take your time to make it perfect.

LOLOLOLOL, you and me both buddy! I have a list to get done tonight, and if I do, and I can do a quick test, then it will be uploaded and released! If not, then hopefully at least Wednesday. Then the apparent update the following Tuesday from the bugs I made last minute, lol, hopefully not...

You didn't fall, I pushed you. Or I am scripting it now.... muh ah hah ha ha, cough... 

So thats why its not up yet...

I'm working on it. Just need to do a coop test yet, then build the exe if it works, and then upload it. If it works well. I ran into a bug with arsenal again and rewrote the whole script.
