The idea for this map was by tomikaze

hi, this will be my 3rd map, it will be a futuristic kino with custom textures and models, the map will be as structurally accurate as possible where as the detail will vary a lot from the original , 2 version will be released(easy/hard see below for details).The map will have moon doors that open when the player or zombie is in range. There will be an extended easter egg. The map will mainly feature mw2 guns(my favourite of all cod weapons) with some bo2/ghost/mw3/aw and the thunder gun/scavenger.

Minor request, could you leave out the Thundergun?
I know this will be an unpopular request but it will help distinguish this from the original [besides revamping the look of the map] and add some difficulty because imo Kino is a really easy map which could easily be made more challenging by removing it
Just a thought

There will be two versions released: hard and easy, the hard will have full sprinters(probably not all of them) there will be no dogs for max ammos and as you have requested it will have no thundergun and anything else you might want

In the easy version you should also include the raygun Mk II (maybe duelwield Mk II's)
Also what perks are going to be in this

I have never seen mk2 duel wield and i certainly don't have it but it if happens to exist i will, and i will be putting mk2 normal in both easy and hard.

Damn looks good! I like that custom bloody door to the left where the zombies break down the boards. Interestingly creative. Very good.  :accepted:

UGX 1.1? Isn't that the old one with the M9A1? Because if it is, then NO! That will ruin it. I'm sure the old Kino remake would of been better if it didn't have that mod. I don't want to be disrespectful to UGX team and I'm sorry if I am but that old mod is just straight up boring and bad. The NEW one's amazing but not yet released so that's unusable.

Cyborg mod, DEFINITELY and the 2 other versions. But that's all he should do.  :)

UGX v.1.1 is the new "amazing" mod, 1.0 is the old one... 1.1 has the m9a1, 1.0 has the m9... :poker:

sorry i wont have the asset room for the ugx mod, and i don't want 3 different versions of the map floating around so i wont be adding the cyborg mod, i forgot to mention that the idea for this map came from tomikaze777.

Yeah LOL I shoot the glass just for the fun of it. I love it when that's added into maps. I just kind of wish WAW would let it really shatter and look cool like Advanced Warfare. You guys see that shit? The glass is like some real life ports haha xD
Or I think BF4 has better glass I'm not sure. GTA V I know has pretty good ones.

mw2 has the sam glass as aw the only new thing they added to the glass is when u walk and land o it, it will shatter

What?! Are you trying to kill me here? How I'm I going to think up the differences for 4 different difficulties?
Um, easy mode loads up and you spawn with a paped wonderweapon, all perks, 100,000 pts and a button right in front of you that says, "Buy ending for 500 pts".
Extreme version, you spawn in with a sharpened toothbrush handle, and it's round 20 already.

actually extreme with zombies health increasing 1.5 times previese rounds instaed of the usual 1.1 multiplier you spawn with 0 points, dog rounds wont spawn a max ammo, debris is more expensive, there will be headshot only rounds, and there will be no zombie counter hard will be runners from start and zombies health increase slightly more than usual, normal will be unchanged, and easy will be zombies health increases at a lower rate, you start with 1000 points and doors are 25% cheaper.

So... Sharpened Tooth Brush it is for Extreme then?   :yeah: Can't wait to try EXTREME!

Hey, a couple ideas you may want to consider since KINO lacked a lot:

- Better Easter Eggs. Make us go through something that's longer then 10 minutes but shorter then Shangri-La lol

- Rare custom weapons, such as the Remington R5, IMR, Semi-Auto Glock 17/18 (Not the full auto useless uncontrollable recoil one), annd some  BF3/4 weapons. These shouldn't be hard to obtain for a big map like this from other members.

- Maybe the map for the Mystery box that was in the original KINO? Looking for the box won't be easy without it since you may have to run the map every time. Or at least a lot of glass on the ceiling so I see the light... And -->  :nyan: better be in it lol jk

- Use the drop weapon after death script. I think it would be really good especially on EXTREME in COOP. You'd want the players to at least get back there guns when they die otherwise it's impossible. But obviously, once again, consider.

- And finally, as much as I already love the way this map looks, I'm craving noon settings. Really bright outside with the sun as high up as possible because damn, KINO had a nice sun setting but it just didn't do it for me when increasing brightness or contrast on my TV. It looked like dog shit smothered on the screen. O_O And the UGX Kino had the outside look like hell lol XD

Thanks for reading  :cute: I'd like to beta test if you don't mind... I've got 2 maps so far that I'm beta testing for others so I want to throw this one in good people. :P

this D2P acts different then every other dive to prone as it does not require a extra weap file for the animation

only known issue with it is that you can shoot while diveing

Dude! Keep the shooting in mid air feature! Dolphin diving is almost useless (except for phd) and shooting while diving could actually make diving more practical.

not really cause your gun is pointing around in directions you cant see, so shooting practically would be difficult :P

As useless as diving really is, I'd say keep it if you still want to give people the BLACK OPS feel for KINO. I referred to MZSlayer11's post about it being useless.

Also, give us some fresh photos or at least me on Skype bro, ;) Haven't even seen any changes yet. Nice Diving pics though. Looks fun if you actually keep it open like that and if PHD Worked.

Is that a pool table on the right where the zombie spawner is? It would be cool if you can set up movable balls for us to shoot or knife through the pockets :P

Looks really good. I love the way you layout your maps with broken floor boards, ceilings etc. then have wires showing. :D
Can't wait to play this and make one of my trailers for it. Still have to upload my old decontamination ones that I can't seem to find lol

Hey you should change the Font to Black ops 2's font (it's Agency FB) or use the AW one , you should also try to incorporate a  hud like the modern games , and for the feels of the map plz return the ambient damned music and add beeping sounds when your next to machines i have a lot of ideas if you want more just replay in the forum  :D

thanks :), yes i will be keeping everything in the same place but i will have to find new locations for whos who, ec and tombstone. the wall weapons will remain the smae class ie shotguns will still be shotguns, smgs etc and box locations will be the same with the random start location

hey, the world could have plunged into complete chaos and darkness if we didnt know the map was fixed 2 posts in a row, we cant take the original creators word, we need a DOUBLE reassurance that it was fixed or world war 3 could have just happened

not for me, my first zombies map was nacht a few months before mw2 came out, then the 3 map packs in a row on ps3, i wasn't allowed mw2 upon release cause it was an 18 :P

I skipped KINO because back then, when I watch NGT play FIVE, I loved the RAW FEEL of the realism. I kind of want that back by the way. The REALISTIC feel of zombies when you pull the trigger and hear that metal cling together so damn nicely... *Sigh* If only... I don't want BO3 with like Flying and teleporting zombies.

yes as usual i will release a normal version with standard zombies, door prices etc and a hard version, less points, increased prices, verruct, sprinter and no thundergun

It's all good man, and also, will the other weapons come with attachments, (e.g. The MNesia with it's Foregrip, SPAZ-24 with it's 1 shell full reload, etc.)

i hope its not one of those maps that was put lot of details but with broken weapons stats and no sounds on ported weapons   :troll:. one suggestion(if you are still taking suggestion): maybe add ambients sounds to the map.

Get some AW weapons too. At least one. I know the HBRA3 is available for COD 4. Maybe you can convert to COD 5 and use your own sounds for it?
Great weapon list though. You know me, as long as the M4, SCAR and VECTOR are in the map, I'm going to enjoy it. :D

3. More paths on inside the theater. Yes, some unaccesible paths from the original map (for example down stairs where are the pictures from our heroes).

I would love the bo kino quotes, but I think there are a couple hundred of them so unless there is a quick way to shove them in to waw, like the have the same names as the waw ones so its just a convert and overwrite, I wont be doing it

I'll be starting new projects and finishing old ones because the old ones literally need like 5 more hours of editing and there done.  :)

that was a completely different map made for the mod, but the map was shit so im not releasing it, kino doesn't have the asset space for his mod, and it will probs never be finished, and only kf5 will have offical anims

yes it will, now the reason the ammo hud is broken is cause it was being worked on during the time of the screenshot, the points are going to be moved up a bit and the grenade and secondary grenades are going to be stored on the right side of the points, not sure what i should do with the alt weapon section

nope, i think it only goes through 3 zombies, which is the waw cap, u can probably make it go through all with script, but idk how, and i dont have 1

If it does need to be scripted, only way really would be by vector (that i can think of anyway), which means we would need some way to work out the position of tag_flash (which is harder than it sounds) - only alternative is to use "centre point" of the player - which sadly would be inaccurate, especially if your moving as you do it

even projectiles in cod use center point - hence why the grenade anim looks funny compare to black ops, its coz waw the grenade comes out the center of the screen after the anim, where as in Black ops they had a function ( getMuzzleFlashPoint() )

not that i can think of, i mean your prob right about the penetration limit i just wasnt aware

Hope the script works out, Really does need some vector work - and more vector work if you have a "realistic walking" script too ;)

oh yeah, im using ege's walking script, its really accurate to mw2 onward, does that mean arc will have to do extra work on it or am i misunderstanding what u mean by walking script?

Most likely, when you move in cod, the barrel of the gun moves off centre, the script needs to detect this and "adjust" the "point of origin" the bullet is coming from ( then it detects where the first hit land and draws a line between the two )

This is the problem i had with making a cool bullet fx for my MKII, If i moved in any direction it would look messed up, like it was curving - coz my vectors were off

It depends how close edgs script keeps the tag_flash to the center of the screen, most people got by using a tag of the players "wrist" as we cant grab tags from the gun itself

I would not edit revive time though, in one of the Treyarch scripts it says it "was" adjustable, but now isnt coz apparently causes problems with 3rd person anims or something ( source - _laststand.gsc )

Why does this matter? I hate DalekJD but I see no reason to be mad at seeing him play it in beta. He is trafficing more people to play this map which IMO is a good thing. Also he is beta testing just recording the gameplay. Who smasher chooses to beta is completely up to him

1st point: MrDalekJD isn't the only person who has access to this map, Smasher has chosen testers (not just Big Youtubers who will give the map publicity it deserves)
2nd Point: Novas already did lots of explosive damage, it's what they're meant to be, annoying little shits
3rd point: we aren't here to bag on a youtuber because he got early access to a map, so be quite and be a patient man, like the rest of this community.

The 1% is the Bug fixing stage, thats the hardest part of making a map with tons of features is checking to see which ones wont be faulty during release.

ak12 anims are pretty unique, really i would need official or close remakes before i would add that gun

How will it work though? My idea is that you enter via helicopter into a dilapidated version of kino and you walk through into the theater and teleport into kinolabs and then round 1 begins. Kinda like project viking

im not adding the stakeout, its an old gun and the only bo1 weapons in it are the scavenger commando and the thundergun, but the blundergat is in it

there is only 1 auto turret trap, and it will do nothing to him, his health will be 1/2 that of "five" though i may increase it if it is too easy

people just usually build points with a point building gun like the ak and then use the traps to actually do the killing on higher rounds. I'm fine without it i just want it to release! but it was a fairly common tactic.

its buggy cause it has bugs, these include stuff and things

also i hit them mem limit when adding traps, and a few things still need to be added, so there will be no traps

doesnt work for me, + everyone who ever wanted to play the map would have to add the fix and if there using disk version they would have to apply lan fix, too much effort for a lot of people

by all means i wasn't insulting your choice in map. I think it is a great map that you made amazing!!! I was just saying that i wasn't a fan of traps, oh and as far as the Pentagon Theif...great choice!!

I must partially disagree with you about people playing maps once or twice.  When it comes to most custom maps you may be correct, but not when it comes to the caliber of map such as this, I play quite a few maps on a regular basis and I know this map will be added to that list

doesn't really matter, most people only play a custom map once or twice

Usually maps I download have a high replayability for me anyway, Especially Kino. I dont know what you're talking about

Release it with the bugs, but fix them when you have the time, it's the best thing to do, when i was watching Dalek play it i didnt see any bugs/major bugs, so it shouldnt be that bad

then u didnt look very hard, cause they was a pathing issue in the ally that meant going into that area broke the zombies

That's kinda what I meant, release beta, but slowly just fix the bugs, it shouldnt take long and it means a lot of others can play the map that they've been waiting for, its a great looking map, and the pathing issue, i noticed that, it happens on normal zombies for me quite a bit, didnt think it was a bug due to that, thought it was a game bug.

10 seconds, because you aren't worth that much time to me mate.
Anyway, if you don't like the boss, just don't play the map, simple as that, you'd be hurting nobody by not playing it.

Everyone needs to take a deep breath, releasing the map in its current state will only cause more complaining. It is the mappers choice when he/ she wants to release their map. You can't expect smasher to spend so much time on making this map the best it can be but release it filled with bugs. Like I already said, more people will complain about the bugs than they have about release.
Work In Progress pages shouldn't be about people asking when release is, the map will be released when it is done. WIP are meant to be a mapper giving updates on their project and receiving constructive criticism, not pages of, "When is the going to be released?" or "Just release it already".
Maps shouldn't be rushed, take this map or Oil Rig for example. Taking look at the images posted you can see many different textures are being used, models too. Take away the many textures and models you basically are releasing a plain boring box-like map.
No mapper wants to negative feedback or people ranting about how they should just release it. The map will be released when it is done and in 100% condition

Actually I can agree with that, I'll admit I'm one of the people saying release it so I'm gonna try be patient, it's a great map smasher, ignore us that are asking when it's released, don't give up on working the bugs out! :)

Almost all maps doesn't reach the 100% bug free, the official ones neither. So i expect and hope this map will have an update.

Ugx admins, you should close this topic for all of us to stop off topic discussions. Just let smasher still update the WIP. I mean, it doesnt have sense ask/suggest something else. The map is on testing stage and closer to release, so we need wait to see the map on the release page.

if u see when buying a wall weapon there's written "for weapon [500] for ammo [true] and if u press f for ammos it gaves you the ammo but it doesn't take your points

I love Five too, i love the thief as he wasnt an easy max ammo round like the dogs on kino, teammates had to work together to take him down, plus he gave bonfire sale if took him down before he took your guns.

cant really cause there is only 1 teleporter in kino, and it just takes u to the sealed pap area, it works pretty much the same apart from that, he chases u he takes ur gun, he does a quick run around the map and hits the teleporter and drops the max ammo, otherwise u get max ammo and firesale or bonfire depending on whether u loose a gun

Is it possible to make the bonfire also act like a firesale aswell? a lot of time we had bonfire, but no sufficient weaponry worth paping which is why i prefer to let him take a gun.

He also seemed very fast in the gameplay i saw of RelaxingEnd, is there any weapon which slows him down? (cause in Five you had the Winter's howl which was very handy for this)

Just played the beta on zommods, those nova crawlers are bitches, i just gave up as i was doing really good,  had lsat, t-gun and sliquifier, got cornered cause the sliquifer really didnt do anything (bug?) and after that i couldnt recover cause of the novas.

Ikr the novas are a pain to deal with and what i noticed with the sliquifier is that it doesn't ive you any points for kills involving it.

waiting on easter egg script, i wont be active as of tomrrow, but i will just upload the map, when its ready, couple of weeks i presume

I launched the mod, started the single player and my WaW just crashes.... ;c
