Title: [WIP] Kino Der Toten 1930 Updated 2/10/15

Hello Everyone!
This is my second map.
I Thought i would do a Kino Remake But with a twist that its a 1930 version with new locations and an outside playable area!
And Old hospital Building next to the ally You can Play in!
Added Weapons!
Custom Pack a Punch Camo!
Buyable Ray Gun!
Same, Yet new Layout!
Buyable Ammo!
Buyable Ending!
Various Training Locations For 4 Player Awesomeness!  ;D

Story!!!
This Is How Kino Was Before the Outbreak Took Over The World.
Dr. Ludwig Maxis and his colleges Are in search of a theatre to show off Der riese's Teleporter System.
He Settled On This one, He First Needed To Make Some Changes Before The Teleporter Arrives In Order To Assure it fits. The Hospital Across The Street Seemed Like a perfect place to test 115 with the teleporter. You can Guess What Happened. Eradicate All ZOMBIES To Move on to original Kino. (Black Ops)

Update 1/17/15
Fixed Errors in Launcher.
Added Hospital Rooms!
Fixed Gun issues.
Added Thundergun. (Will Not Have Pack. Is Already OP)
Still Mapping!
Estimated Release Date 3/10/15! (ON SCHEDULE)

Update 2/10/15
Exactly a month later, Everything fixed. Now we are finishing the hospital and wall weapons. Then Zoning!
And After That A RELEASE! Beta of course.

Update 1/10/15
I just fixed my computer so now i can map again.
Kino is having mapping issues. It will not update in the mod even though i have ran the patch and such.
Anyway, i have added the hospital. And a custom outside area where deadshot is. Sorry no screenshots. like i said kino is having issues. I will try and fix these in a timely fashion Thanks for reading :D

Update 12/27/14
I have Expanded the map with mule room and a new pack room and all 4 main room spawners/barriers are added.
also i might get the fire trap for the room next to the ally, if i can port it. I am mapping hard! Hopefully the community will like this map when it is finished.

Give him some time and maybe he'll have a better product in your opinion.

i gotta be honest if people are gonna remake 3arc maps, i'd like them to either be re-imagined like mp maps were, or have a 2025 look, i see little point in this map in particular as one person has already remade it and 10 years is not exactly a big difference with the original being set in 1940s. However that said, im interested to see how this turns out.

A-grand already did a great job of a kino remake so i'm glad to see that your adding new playable areas. I  know you want the WWII theme but I would still recommend that you add a few custom weapons to change things up a bit. Also, make sure you add mule kick too and maby add another BO perk in the new playable areas too. Just some ideas you can take or leave, your map, you can do what you want. Can't wait to see more :D

I Started At 1 Am and its 3 pm and i'm somewhat close to being finished with mapping
And there will be phd, Mule, Stamin, and Deadshot all in new areas along with a box locater as seen in the real kino

Surprised you'd consider a Five remake Alex  :P

Personally while I don't mind people remaking/altering previous maps there's some I feel cannot be improved on [Kino ironically being an exception, wish someone would do a version as it was intended to be i.e. WaW style, the BO1 map is kinda boring due to the Thundergun and the myriad of traps]
Having said that, I am willing to put that mindset aside and accept each and every remake and judge them on their own merits and avoid making comparisons

FIVE (and Shangri-La) are my favourite BO1 maps so i'd love to see someone do a good re-make of them, I personally would not want to see Kino or Ascension again as they are so easy they bore me - because of the thundergun and many many training spots there were no counters to. With Shangri-La it was a very tight cornered map - a challenging map and so in turn everyone hated it, but the hard map layout was countered with 8 perks and a decent WW - The Shrink Ray which is one of the best WWs imo but overlooked because of the map it was put in (and it really needs to be on a custom map).

No way... -.- lol I've never seen a CALL OF THE DEAD Remake before... Which is a good thing... But do you think you can pull it off? BTW Update me... How does the map look so far?

Why is that a good thing? Call of the dead is a great map! I'm sure if you can remake it, it'd be amazing!

I'm right though, Kino was meant to be a WaW map - imagine it having [in line with the story] NO Wonder Weapon besides the Ray Gun - that alone would have made it much more challenging

As for other remakes, I've already stated my general apprehension but please don't redo Ascension, again it is/was a ridiculously easy map - sure I had fun on it but coincidence or not Map + Thundergun = Easymode [It wasn't necessary on Nacht revamp considering Treyarch added Monkey Bombs but oh well]

Five & Shangri-La get a lot of flak because they don't have big open areas for all the kiddies to run about in - Five was made even less appealing by the not-so-impressive Wonder Weapon [wish it was buffed]
Amusingly Hounds, the Flamethrower AND V-R11 were at some point planned for Five [hence the guys in suits created by the shots from the V-R11] - now THAT I would like to see  :)

As for CotD [one of my favourite maps to date], George was no big deal really - the issue was how crappy Solo got due to the Scavenger being kinda naff - I honestly would've preferred it being an Instakill weapon with the trade-off being it did nothing to George just like the Wunderwaffe- would've made Solo far more appealing and rounds beyond 50, 60, whatever more attainable

On topic, I'm intrigued by the expansion of the alley area and await further updates in due course  :)
