Title: Non-CoD Weapons in Custom Zombies?

This thread is simply just to hear the opinions from other people on this, but what guns from non-CoD games would you like to see get implemented into custom zombies?

The games I have in my mind right now that I'd like to see have some of its weapons in WaW are Crysis and The Conduit :D

Titanfall.... (as I've done a tutorial on it). Maybe CS:GO as well since its easy to get the models and stuff.

fallout, wolfenstien, far cry, battlefield, etc. But i think fallout has the most potential as it has some amazing guns and its a older game so its easier to take stuff from it.

I've thought of getting weapons from a lesser known game by Raven Software (who now helps in the development of COD) called Singularity. Some pretty cool guns in it. I actually highly recommend the game itself if you've never played it. It has a very well put together story. I enjoy the level design and the game as a whole. It's kind of a shame seeing a studio with that talent being held back by COD and knowing there will most likely never be a sequel because of it but sadly nothing I can do about that. http://store.steampowered.com/app/42670/ (http://store.steampowered.com/app/42670/)
Other than that, I think the Bioshock games have some pretty cool guns.

JohnDoe managed to port 2 weapons from CS:GO so far with the help of MrTombone8 (<--- Not sure at the moment if that's the person who helped him)

The two weapons that he managed to port were the AUG and the P90

John has ported more guns, have seen some of them

And Fallout guns would look smexy in steampunk themed map :gusta:

He does a pretty good job at getting them in-game and making them look good :). I extracted the MAG-7 awhile back but couldn't think of what to do with it lol.

Porting guns from other games isn't that hard unless it requires custom animations. All you need to do is get the model and use the rigs of the weapon that you want to use the animations of. So if you want to use existing animations, all you need to do is choose the right animations for the gun you want to port.

Apart from AUG and P90, I also managed to port the G3SG1 with/without the scope using G3 an PSG1 animations, M4A1 with Commando's animations, AWP with L9A1 (different names for the same weapon actually) animations, AK47 with COD4 AK47's animations, Bizon with the animations of Bizon from MW3, CZ75 with BO1 CZ75's animations, Famas with BO1 Famas' animations and there were some more but I can't remember all of them at the moment. So if you want to have a go at those weapons, those are the animations you should be looking for basically.

He does a pretty good job at getting them in-game and making them look good :). I extracted the MAG-7 awhile back but couldn't think of what to do with it lol.

well i've managed to take all of the weapon models from fallout new vegas and convert them into .obj's. i dont know what to do with them though xD

Definitely would love to see Killzone 2/3 and Ratchet & Clank guns, but they're PS3 exclusives so dunno if it's poosible.

I would've done Borderlands guns already if it wasn't as difficult as it is, cause two of the DX Rippers I've tried don't work on it, and when you get the model from UModel, all of the pistols are one mesh, all of the smg's are one mesh, all of the ar's are one mesh, etc. .-.

How about the portal gun?

I can't find the video anymore, but somebody managed to create a gun based off the Portal gun in CoD 4

If it's possible in CoD 4, then surely it could be possible in WaW perhaps

Can't you just seperate the verts or whatever they are called? Because the guns I exported are one mesh too.

If you want to take the time and go through the easily 1k+ amount of verts per gun, then why not. I tried separating the mesh into separate pieces, but that came out to 2k+ meshes for the pistol models.

There was a legendary shotgun in BO:TPS that was a grenade launcher that, when exploded, shot a bunch of mini grenades that exploded even more.

There are so many amazing guns in the Borderlands series that would be fun to play with in CZ, my favorites coming from the second one. The Sandhawk (SMG whose bullets are in the formation of a bird with the wings moving up and down), Unkempt Harold (pistol that shoots a ridiculous/random amount of explosive bullets that pan outward) , Norfleet (high damage and shoots 3 rockets), and Infinity (pistol with infinite ammo, nuff said) would be my picks if I were to choose.

These are Borderlands guns that are cool and I would love to see in CZ (I mostly just like the names LOL):

Corporate Bitch (legendary smg)
Double Lovin' Pounder (Shotgun. low damage, early unlock, but cool name makes up for it).
Three Way Hulk (shotgun)
Greasy Smig (Smg. Low damage, early unlock, but the weird name makes up for it).
Slippery Lance (?) (Cool name)
Infinity Pistol  :troll: (because fuck realism)

I already have them all ported and rigged, but I didn't know if there would be any community interest in a mod, especially with all the AW stuff that will be most likely coming soon.
