Title: Zone Manipulation
Post by: MZslayer11 on November 26, 2014, 09:01:22 pm
So the way my map is layed out, I might have a little problem zoning. I need to cut it in a certain way but the only way to do this is to cut through the whole thing and create 2 parts to 1 zone. Is this okay to have 2 zones with the same kvp's or will it cause problems?

(https://www.ugx-mods.com/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg.ctrlv.in%2Fimg%2F14%2F11%2F26%2F54763e60d4004.jpg&hash=9098483a44215c15e8806668aaa6127dcca04a25) (http://ctrlv.in/466292)

I may have to do this several times for my map. I hope this is okay.

doesn't matter, you can have multiple volume's with the same zone-name's. It will act as one and the same zone..

Should I cut the zone into separate pieces by cutting it or should I duplicate the pieces of the zone with the space-bar. Does it matter?

Doesn't matter, but if you cut it make sure you retexture the caulk edges with volume again.
