i will keep details about the map secret by now but layout is nearly done, after that ill start will more detail, fx and gameplay  8)
btw. i added a zombie counter but it cant be seen cause i play in window-mode  :(

I was thinking about that myself or  a Der Riese remake but decorated to be all Christmassy. Der Riese + UGX Mod = instant winner!

yeah didn't you start working on a nuketown map a while ago? did you actually mean that? cause powngis Nuketown has gone nowhere since the beta

just kidding. but as of now its completely broken due to ugx-mod stuff. need to fix some organization stuff but now at least it doesnt crash when loading

Umm, we didn't release a broken mod so I doubt that.

i was refering to what saje said about files getting messed, but it looks cool  :D. btw trem with the mod loaded how much space is left for custom fx?

Not much, probably less than 10 unless you go through your own zone source folder and remove more fx. v1.1 will have more fx room.

Not sure how long the standalone version of it will take, but it likely will be.

why where the viewhands so ugly to begin with D:
They were the only ones I had available at the time that worked properly with the CoD4 ADS anims for all the guns, and despite my best efforts I could not get the mesh to not look like ass. There was nothing wrong with the textures or normal maps, it was something to do with the normals of the mesh.

In v1.1 we managed to find another set of hands that worked for both CoD4 and CoD5, which are the ones I included in the fix download.

A house would not be a big deal - we are mainly worried about people who are using entire prebuilt maps like the NDU map file lol. I know there are a lot of people using WaW seelow house prefabs, so using your own house prefab isn't any different than that in my opinion.

C'mon man! No time? Only a month and 9 days left, pick up the pace bro!  :D
And by the way, damage the railing on that second floor balcony so that players can run upstairs and then drop off and run to safety. Remember, dead ends are no fun.

you're gonna like that you can jump over that  ;) also i added some damage to other building so you can jump out of it. and also theres the zipline in the same building

for solo revive. my perks were cleared by shader name. in the UGX Mod 'perk' is passed to perk_hud_destroy.. just make sure all your perks clear on solo revive when you go down

kind of xD anyways it will cost 3000 points and the map is really hard...totally worth buying :v
or im open to suggestions on how often it should drop ammo boxes, how much ammo they should give you and how much it should cost

Only 5 days left!  Remember, your map must be submitted to us at [email protected] no later than Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 11:59 pm EST.  Make sure that you do not release your map to the public until we have posted the video on our YouTube channel. We're super excited to play all of the maps and know that our viewers will love them too. Good luck, and thanks for participating in the contest.
