We're going to try to give the console back while still keeping cheats disabled. I realize having the console disabled is a pain in the fucking ass for people who want to take nice images or change their FOV, so we're going to try to make it better for you guys. At the very least we can give you guys a pause menu button to turn the HUD on and off :)

optional FOV change and HUD on/off option would probably be best, unless you wanna make an impenetrable cheat script :P

There's no such thing as an impenetrable cheat script since scripts can be edited by he end user, but then again maybe you're being sarcastic and you already know this :troll:
Either way, Delta mentioned to me that he actually had some legitimate ideas about having cheats blocked without using script and without blocking console, so we'll see where that leads.

would it be possible for the mod to add an extra command in the controls menu?
like, you can go into options>controls and you can bind a button to switch hud on/off and change fov?
I've seen them done in MP mods (not those specific commands though), no idea about SP or zombies though.

Yeah that's similar to what I was describing when I mentioned we could add some buttons as a last resort - binding keys would also work but that could also conflict with people's default controls (when you go into different languages, etc)

well just saying i would like to see another version of the map where you start out on spectate with no hud. and before you start, that menu like this: http://gyazo.com/70d268dbc185c7fc992c84c153fcd55d would show up and it would have these options:
Doors: open/closed
Hud: On/off
then when you click pause you could access editing options. those would be:
lighting: vignette, black and white, etc.
insert character (next place you click would be where you character would be. he would be wearing the clothes you unlocked. then he would be holding a gun of you coice)
insert zombie (he would be shaking his head)
i think tatd be REALLY cool!
