So I'm at the point in my map where I am doing the lighting and I noticed that the lighting and shadows don't even come close to what is in radiant and it in game its all dark and black and I want to make it light with shadows.
1. I am using the same worldspawn settings as the UGX tutorial map but it doesn't give lighting nor shadows and is all dark.
2. I do have a caulk box and light volume around my map but the lighting still terribly wrong and dark

If anyone knows how to fix this or if you know good worldspawn settings for snow maps please tell me. :D

Give the inside faces of the caulk box around the map a sky texture.

Would that appear in game?

Would that appear in game?
No. It will be invisible as long as you have a skybox.

Also does it have to be a specific texture from the textures/usage/sky or can it be any one?
-
Just any sky texture.

Just any sky texture.
Thanks! That seemed to work but do you know how to makes shadows appear from brushes and models?
