Title: Edit weapons|Damage, name, clip size
Post by: InFInIX on June 05, 2014, 05:41:18 pm
After i played uncountable maps with low damage weapons i thought i make a tutorial for it!

Step 1.
Download the UGX-Weapons editor by treminaor

Step 2.
go to mods/YOURMOD/weapons/sp

Step 3.
drop any weaponfile (for example the "zombie_ppsh")

thats it for the basics!

Change the name

to change the name use this box and type in what you want as name

Change the damage

to change the damage look here
i think for a non upgraded weapon you should set the damage between 90(low) and 140(high)

change the clip size and reserve ammo

Nice man! Been meaning to make this tutorial for some time now but never got around to doing it. +1.Also it would help if you told them for bo1 guns look on the cod wiki for the gun stats for zombies so it is accurate and not too low or not too high. For bo2 you cant do this though

You don't need Treminaor's Weapons editor program to edit weapons. You could just edit the weaponfile with notepad or import it into ASSMAN via Aidans Asset2GDT program.

180 is way too high. The stock weapons that i've looked at are usually around 90(low) and 120(high). If you REALLY need to increase or decrease damage by THAT much then you should just use damage multipliers.

Also, range also affects how good a weapon is.
