This map can be downloaded from the UGX Map Manager.


It takes place after my 2nd map, after finding a plane and escaping you end up crashing :P

Update: think I fixed the buyable ending to not glitch out

Update: Took out dogs so they won't glitch out the map, for some reason though taking them out causes the game to lag for a few seconds when opening the 2nd door, not a big problem but it bugs me, but its better than having the dog round glitch out forever, also added the winters howl back in (yes I know it looks weird, along with the death machine, but I don't have maya to fix it) 1.3: Removed lag that was caused from removing dogs :)

just played it in solo and completed in 18. didnt realise untill the end how beast the FG Hyper-gun from the 2nd area was! awesome reload speed on it :troll:

Hyper will be proud
loved the mazes. was on edge completly the first few times I had to go in them. Great job. Had a Friday the 13th feel about walking through them with your lantern held high.
Also loved your noisey tombstones.
My one criticism (  :please: ) is I found areas with doors or passages (some in dark places) but couldnt proceed any further down them.
Also, was the howl buyable? As I found a location with 3rd teddy but no other area to purchase. Just wondered if it was a box ONLY weapon.
So all in all a good fun map with a very reachable end game.

Your freezegun script does not belong to RedSpace200, it's ripped from UGX Mod v1.0.3 with some FX/anim modifications to get around the fx/anims from UGX Mod that you didn't have, and some other modifications to get around the missing support from other UGX Mod scripts/notifys. The header of the file which had author information was also removed (see quote below).

Here is a direct comparison of the files, with your _zombiemode_freezegun.gsc on the left and my ugx_freezegun.gsc from UGX Mod v1.0.3 on the right:

A few nitpicks:

The Lantern: The script waits WAY to long before deleting the FX from the lantern. It also cause HUGE framerate issues when looking directly at the FX. The lantern's mostly pointless except for a few areas that have no light for absolutely no reason whatsoever, and will likely get you killed if you go into areas unknowingly without it. When you knife the zombie attack sound plays.

The Weapons : The Colt 2.0's empty reload is either too fast to see or it doesn't have one. "The Hypermole"'s clip size is way too large, it doesn't do hardly any damage, and it only comes with 192 bullets. The names for majority of the weapons are either a reference to NGT or are plain ridiculous and don't make any sense whatsoever. The recoil values for a some of weapons is completely inaccurate in comparison to other versions.

Round Start Sound: It doesn't play fast enough. By the time it gets done playing 12+ zombies have already spawned into the map.

Skybox & Snow: its snowing yet there isn't any actual clouds in the sky. WTF mother nature lol

Ultimately i enjoyed the very small areas of the map that i actually played(never got past the maze), but these issues hurt the experience for me.

I haven't looked at the script but based on the feedback Daedra gave I would assume the lifetime of the fx is longer than its loop delay in the script.

Nice Map - like the ambient sounds and slip down the tunnels with  the Jump ... great fun.  :D

First Time i go to the dark Tunnels without a lantern and come only out with the flares ....
damn that was close in the middle of a round.  ;D

This is a Terrible Map.

I sat on my lavish computer chair pondering upon the map's completion.
Was it worth it, was it as challenging as i expected it to be? Was the entire map just a incoherent unoriginal fad and a complete waste of time of both coding effort, map design and mechanics?

Yes. Yes it was. Allow me to elaborate upon what was and what has always been. That this map is a massive hive of references clearly for Youtuber Bait. Clearly naming all of the guns on the map to NGT References truly gave me a thrilling insight as to how the author was going to captivate me with his brilliant map design and truly revolutionary story mechanics. For Example, The map's entire storyline can be summed up in a paragraph unlike Mass Effect 3's entire ending, which is as equally great.

I crashed in a snowy place filled with zombies. Coincidentally, i am holding a lantern. There are alot of lanterns in this place. Boy oh Boy, this is Lantern City. There are so many Lanterns they've put them on poles and called them Lampposts.

Oh there is a maze, apparently i need a lantern. Oh, i don't because ive turned on the power in the pitch black (dim) dark. Yep, fantastic game mechanics. Oh look, there is a gun on the wall. Oh, The Hypermole. Isn't that the name of a guy from NGT? The Author couldn't be that cheap. Oh- look. Its Hypermole's Girlfriend for some reason. Wasn't that a absolutely essential part of the atmosphere. Didn't that make my experience even better.


Experimenting with the guns has actually made me realise i can actually finish the map without actually activating the power. Fantastic, clearly the Map Author wanted me to finish this map before i could gouge my eyeballs out. (Thanks Man.)

I farm the zombies for about a good 8 minutes and hit the radio with 25000 Points.

What a terrible map. What a disaster, i even played through again and the second maze is even worse.
This wouldn't be a hive of references without a funny TROLL FAIC GAIZ XDDD!!! Even Slender Man throws in a obligatory cameo! What a fucking terrible insult to the gamemode, Doesn't UGX have any standards for quality control?

When a map is blatant bait for youtubers and the alike to record. It overall degrades the experience for people who enjoy challenging maps. Why this is on the UGX Map manager i do not know, there are alot of better authors that deserve to be on the system and haven't. This is worse then Prison Mission, at least in Prison Mission the Map Design is its saving grace, everything else is so much more unbarable. This is literally probably the worst Zombies map ive ever played and i absolutely applaud the OP for creating such a spectacular failure, i couldn't find anything redeeming in this map. Seriously, im Sorry but there are other maps that do everything better.

Maps like these are one of the reasons i look in the comments section for people who are genuinely critics about this. When i think of great maps, i think of Farm of the Dead by C.H.N because it never forgot what the gamemode was about, and never got wrapped up in itself. Shinra Ops is another great map that comes to mind. Illuminati Island! Zebba Farms! Nazi Zombies is meant to be challenging and tense, UGX has done this before with quality maps.

I really pity the coders who create these new features for maps only to be squandered on sub-par map design and downright narcissistic Map Makers, ZK is definitely one of those. I mean really. How self absorbed do you have to be to actually insert yourself into your own zombies map. That is just plain out arrogance. This isn't a rant on Prison Mission though.


Throw whatever overused outdated memes you want to reply with, but i won't be coming back unless its for a download or two. Admins, if you find this a inappropriate post. Fair enough to you, but critism is where its due.

In case you weren't aware, the Map Manager's purpose is not for us to just put our hand-selected favorite maps of all time on. There are simply a set of basic requirements that any map must meet to be on the UGX Map Manager, found here: http://ugx-mods.com/forum/index.php?topic=214.0 (http://ugx-mods.com/forum/index.php?topic=214.0)

And as simple as those requirements are, a lot of maps do not meet them. This map does.

Regarding your opinion, you are certainly free to have it but writing a rant essay to the mapper about including NGT-named weapons and a lamp is not convincing anyone here.

I have to disagree, though i HATE the NGT references every 5 seconds and the lantern,but this maps layout is solid and is fun to play.

however, regarding the map manager...  i can think of 5 maps that are on the manager that(in my opinion) shouldn't be for various reasons(including game breaking glitches, visual glitches, out of the map glitches, poor weapon balancing, etc). While on the flip side there are some  custom maps in the release section that are actually pretty good and fun to play and i don't see why they haven't or aren't being added to the manager.

There are maps in the release section that are not in the manager due to bug fixes or content addition. Once those things are finished with the maps will be added. If you will look most maps are not added to the manager until 2-3 weeks after they are released because of those reasons.

I respect everyones opinion but what he is saying is absurd. You mean to tell me that you cant enjoy a map because the name of one of the guns is hypermole. If thats keeping you from enjoying it then by all means dont play the map. No one in this community has made anyone play anything. Also if little things like that keep you from enjoyment then you are going to miss out on a lot of stuff in life. Its like saying you hate to shop at the supermarket because they advertise pepsi

nazi_zombie_night - Mostly a stock World at War map in a small boxed area with a few custom things
You just described about 80% of the maps released in the last 3 years. The map meets the requirements for the Manager and was posted in 2012 when we were still a very small community. There is no reason that map doesn't belong in the Manager, you're just being elitist to try and prove a point.



Prision Mission - game breaking bug where zombies spawn in wrong room(behind thompson)
Game breaking: A bug that either kicks you out of the game, allows you to stop zombies from spawning, or prevents you from finishing the map (if it has an ending). That is not game breaking. I'd imagine this is what lies behind your opinion:

Depends if you choose to ignore the absolutely terrible voice acting and long intro, the unbalanced weapons w/ wrong sounds, the references to NGT every 5 seconds, the jumpscares that serve no purpose, and the several game breaking issues - which makes me ask why this map was added to the map manager because one of the requirements is that it doesn't have any game breaking issues.

There wasn't a single thing that i personally liked about this map, not even the level design.

You yourself posted a list of things wrong with this map (http://ugx-mods.com/forum/index.php?topic=1966.msg18564#msg18564) which to my knowledge were never fixed. So why should this map be an exception? If those were fixed then I would be happy to reevaluate the map.

Same thing here, you posted that it should not be in the Manager (http://ugx-mods.com/forum/index.php?topic=654.msg22986#msg22986) yet you are telling me now that it should be.

Saje approved the map a while ago but we never remembered to upload it I guess. Sometimes we forget when a lot of maps are released at once - that map was released during a peak period.

No negativity intended but
Sure the slenderman jumpscare ruined the fun for both of us, but you dont have to compare other good maps out there with this.  >:( Is like comparing justin beiber with rick 'rickroll' astley (trust me their both annoying as it is) :please:
