A higher card would recommended if you were looking to play HD games is a higher resolution.

From the sounds of it though, unless you were shooting for High End Emulation such as dolphin in full HD you should be set.

I have a Radeon 5450 1GB DDR3, it works for most games not published by WB but i'm upgrading to a GeForce GTX 650 2GB GDDR5 myself.

I have the GTX650 Ti 2gb, it's not too bad of a card to be honest. I can run blops 2 at high settings pretty well. Also battlefield 4 at med settings its not too bad overall.

Nearly everyone has framerate issues playing GTA IV because it's one of the worst game ports in recent history as far as performance. Being raped by Games for Windows LIVE doesn't help it much either.

ahh, then i will hold off, hopefully gta 5 is a different story when it comes out, for anyone who does not have a console, it is a great game

I can run Metro Last Light on max settings with a higher framerate than I can get out of GTA IV on recommended settings. The PC version of GTAIV a joke in my opinion.

I second that. I'm running a titan. Same metro last light fully maxed with 67 fps and gta4 at standard runs at 32 fps hardly. I highly doubt that gta5 will be any better. It's made for ps3/xbox not PC. And apparently porting the game didn't go so smoothly.

Max Payne 3 came out two years later and I can honestly say have faith in Rockstar.

They aren't that stupid to release their biggest cash cow a broken intangible mess, not after the GTA online server debacle.

it's not worth a DOWNGRADE to r7-250.
