Hey guys this is a new map being mapped by me (zNiiC) and scripted by ZMBS DON GOONY.

Great job on the tunnel structure - there is a serious lack of tunnel systems in zombie maps :)

Gasthof had one ;)

Would be sweet - also depending on what atmosphere you're going for, some candle light would look good

That tunnel looks really good! I would recommend only adding a few lights to make it kinda dark.

Something i also think of is maybe adding a flashlight, but that would be some scripting work and im not sure if it would  fit the gameplay and be worth the effort.

Flashlights are a pain in the ass - BO had an engine function added for flashlight use which is the only reason why it works well in that game - if you try to do one with FX in CoDWaW, the light will be glitchy as fuck and won't actually project onto surfaces like a flashlight would. (spotlight)

The best way to do a mobile light source imo is to do the lighter like I did in Gasthof.

hey Yeah Trem did u post a tut for that or can u refer me to a script i can refrence from and zNiic Ithink that would look cool in the map i wont mind spending the time scripting it in there i might even use the lighter to let the players set the OIl Rig on fire  ;)

If you wanted an alternative light source which requires player input, and don't want to go via the traditional "power lights" method, you could have candles or torches on the wall which must be lit by the player by finding oil and setting it alight. :)

Also don't forget to give credit to the creator of the weapons you're using in your release notes :P

The tunnel's looking sexy, add some rocky blended texture to the walls and a few models of plant roots sticking out and it will be uber-win! Keep up the good work.

So unfortunately, my HDD decided to die and I lost everything  :poker: Good thing a friend  had a old version of the map (hopefully). So until i get a new HDD this map is not being worked on except for scripts, but they cant be used until I fix my computer. Thanks for understanding.

Great news!! I have found the map file so progress will resume! I now know to makes backups, so this won't happen again.

As far as the map, the underground area is pretty much done, just a few more patches. The outside area has been layed out, and if you've been watching any Black Ops II gameplay, you may recognize some areas.
