You enter an abandoned church. Soon you realize that you're trapped.. but you are not alone. As you try to escape you will reveal the buildings secrets.
Even though this is my fist map, I decided to upload it here. I've spent a lot of time to make it look quite well even though I used it to learn almost everything I know about radiant.
I intended to record custom soundfiles for the eastereggs but I started another project so there are some parts of songs and interludes to find now. Even though this map is called Untergrund (underground), I focused on the outside area but some parts of it are only accessable via the church's cellar.

- anti-cheat script
- more spawns for zombies

gunna giver a try right now. looks like you have some nice detailing goin on. looks pretty nice for a first time map. that's the way I learned as well. hope your next one is just as good but better. props man keep up the good work.

very nice map. kinda tight quarters but good. only thing is the tele in the basement when I went to buy it for 1000 it just opend the door half way a got stuck. not sure if it was just my game or if its a actual problem. but when I play it again i'll give it a try again to see what happens. i'll screen shot it if it happens again. but props to you for a first time map! even edited bangarang! first time I have seen that done. one more thing the radios that kinda play a little;e something. do they all do something??

I have never seen this happen, I just now played the map with some friends and the teleporter door worked just fine.

Zombies have a hard time getting past the breakable wall if its not fully broken. I'd place a clip where the wall is and delete it once all of the pieces have been destroyed.

No kidding. The entire time i was playing this i was at around 38 FPS. I assume its because the map isn't portaled that well or not caulked cuz i was just playing MP with around 30-60 FPS on average.

Thanks for pointing that, out. I'll release a fix for some things as soon as I find time.
I always threw a nate in there, it normally breaks them all at once:D

No kidding. The entire time i was playing this i was at around 38 FPS. I assume its because the map isn't portaled that well or not caulked cuz i was just playing MP with around 30-60 FPS on average.

It is caulked. However, I didn't see any need of portalling it because I never heard of anyone having FPS problems untill now. But that's one new thing on my list for the fix now.

- youtube-safe audiofiles (I wasn't aware that this could be a problem at the original release)

I don't know when I will release it but I won't rush it like the original release.

"Dont shoot the chicken, then" Shoot it immediatly. Thats my logic :D Btw, if you can, add more features to the map, makes the replaying more satisfying, knowing you can play different tactic or "challenge" everytime

That was like the worst idea ever to "hide" it right in front of the spawn:D


The patch is almost done now.

Things that are done:
- better terrain/blending/worldspawn/detailing
- smoother gameplay (eg. better clipping)
- slightly easier way to find the bowie-knife
- youtube-safe audiofiles
  + 3-radio-easter egg song
- most doors have been changed from zombie_debris to zombie_door
  + are more than just a textured brush now
- working fx (still need to do slight placement fixes)
- buyable ending
- an additional small easter egg
- slightly better menu
- better zombie spawns

Things I'm still working on:
- different viewhands for each player; custom playermodels
- better hidden neon-chicken (with a new function)
- more spawns for zombies
- slightly more detailing
- anti-cheat script (will add that one at the very end)
