Title: Sun doesn't look all that good [solved[
Post by: DeletedUser on December 11, 2019, 06:24:20 am
This is what the map looks like:

(Sorry for enlongated image, I use a triple monitor setup.)

I really just want the sun to be shining directly downards, brightly. I also have no idea how to remove the blue-ish tint / fog the map has, so if anyone knows how to remove that, please reveal your secrets.

I have both a lightgrid volume and a reflection probe in the map.

EDIT:
I was only using the skyboxmodel WITHOUT a box surrounding my map that had a sky texture. Adding one fixed both the lighting and blue=ness.
I am such a dunce.

Use this tutorial for the skybox
https://wiki.zeroy.com//index.php/Call_of_Duty_5:_Skybox (https://wiki.zeroy.com//index.php/Call_of_Duty_5:_Skybox)

You also need to create a sun, so right click in the 2d grid, hover over sun, and click create. You can then edit the worldspawn settings or use the ones from stock maps here
