Downfall

Just a quick little map I made. This map takes place outside of the Reichstag in Berlin, Germany.

Edit: I have been getting a lot of accusations of "ripping" this map from the campaign. This is not true, everything was made 100% from scratch by me.

DLC 3/prototype mix
Shoot three teddy bears to access Pack-a-Punch
FOV slider
bo1 knifing (no knife lunge)
Buyable ending

Very Good.
What I enjoyed most was the atmosphere. Fighting Nazi Zombies outside the Reichstag was very fitting. and the brilliant use of the Campaign level was executed well with this map.

Although a small map, I didn't find myself getting cornered, as there is multiple open spaces that allow for training and good manoeuvring.

Teddy bears where hidden well, but very easy to find. Meaning Pack a Punching early was possible which helped with racking up the 50G's for that Buyable ending.

I took some footage and will compile them together to show it off.

My rating is

Difficulty : - Easy
Design - 6/10
Weapon Sandbox - Standard
Replayability - Great for a quick game or down to Basics run for new players (this is not a bad thing)
Verdict - Great Map. Look forward to more.

I know this map is small and quite boring, but it wasn't meant to be much. I just intended it to be a simple little map. Although I may not be a great mapper, I still enjoy making maps and I'm constantly learning new things. I'd also love to see your gameplay footage, thanks!

Really nice zombie map I must say. But if you wouldn't mind, I just wanna leave links of the website about the Battle of Reichstag here. In case if you interest in making a new version of Downfall map with more historical accurate contents (or semi-realistic). 
But you gonna need a google translation for these two though, they're written in Russian.

 Thanks for playing. When I was making the map, I did some research on the surrounding area but couldn't quite come up with a good design. I first wanted to make it look like the multiplayer version with destroyed buildings surrounding the area, but as I was making it I didn't really like the look of it. I sort of based the design off of the Red Orchestra game

 Thanks for linking me the articles. Although I wish I would've had them before I released the map :D
Unfortunately I won't make a new version because I stopped making maps for zombiemode, I moved on to multiplayer

I know you're not making maps, and most likely won't update this but co-op is bugged, playing as host works fine, but the other player can't see the host, and part of the host head is inside the other player..

Yeah I just found out about that recently. I figured out how to fix it, but I think it's kind of too late now because my map has been out for a while.

 Thank you very much! But I'm not that great, lol. Most of what I did is making and gathering new model textures, also arranging codes for each AI model and weapons for them. And for map making, we're not interested in it yet. Due to our huge load of busy stuff and we want to focus on modding for now :(
Our next project is to create a new mod.ff file that could be used for every mod we have. If we succeed, then we might could combine the Pacific Theater mod with each one of Russian campaign mod we have.

Just played this map and I think it's great! The map layout is nice, has a lot of space to train(especially spawn room) and it's easy to navigate in.The atmosphere is cool, just like Nacht Der Untoten. 
Overall, I would give the map 8/10

honestly, for jumping in blindly, its a good map, its open but also has some tight areas, its easy (but not too easy) to train zombies where pack-a-punch is (and the starting area), and was quite fun to play.

Wait isnt this the final level in campaign not hating if it is thats a huge level and adding zombies and stuff to that would be hard so if it is just the final level if you ask me its still impressive AF

 Thank you O0 But it's not a remake of the full campaign level, it's just a small area that's based off of it

Awesome fun map! Well done! Classic small style map, WAW feel, pack a punch and essential 4 perks, buyable ending, waw weapons, and original zombies. Also the spawn area is the best area to kill zombies, a lot of maps usually have corners or camping rooms etc. This is fun! :)

Hey Cap. Long time.
After returning to work on my review series that your Map featured in I decided to have a mess around game on your map with a friend. 

I wanted to highlight a glitch that neither of us could escape no matter who was host. 

Whoever is the 2nd player in game cannot see the host player, but his gun model and head model is stuck floating and following them around making it impossible to see.

 Thanks for letting me know. Unfortunately, I am aware of this glitch and I am unable to fix it because I don't have all the files to re-compile the map
