Hi,
This may be a bit of a specialist question, but I use Ubuntu 16.04 using a WINE overlay to play windows apps. I'm using WINE to run the installers for the custom maps on this site.
When I run the installer it can't find the CoDW@W file location; fair enough, I paste the path into the installer. But when it "places" the files into the mods folder, nothing happens. Nothing comes up in the CoDW@W Mods menu. This is quite frustrating and has consumed my weekend to try and get working. If I can't use the installers, where can find the files in a non-exe format to manually insert?
Thx in advance :)

You can simply open the installer file in a zipping client like Winzip or 7zip or Winrar and extract the mod folder present within. I'm sure there are equivalent programs available for Ubuntu.
Also, questions like these go to Help Desk. Keep that in mind for future reference. This time, I moved it for you.
