Title: T4M / CoDWaW Online MP Problem
Post by: Sacred_Crimson on July 20, 2017, 02:10:29 pm
I owned a copy of Waw with a Online Multiplayer that never worked. (Or thought so at least.) Never tried it, until long after I installed T4M. Zombies was really all Waw was, for me, at the time.

Down to the point. I un-installed that game for reasons, and re-installed it later on. Multiplayer worked just fine; played it for a good while. Until I got back into Zombies. Procrastinated on getting T4M, but eventually got it. Not long after, I tried starting up Waw MP, wouldn't launch. Wouldn't even give me the 'prompt' to launch it.

Literally the only changes I made to the CoDWaW root-file since then, was installing T4M.      (d3d9.dll) file.
So I took it out. And then MP launches just fine. I've played around with this a little to be sure...

Something about that (d3d9.dll) file clashes with the Online MP.
Right now, if I want to play Zombies, I have to add that file back. And if I want to play MP, I have to remove that file...
Any way to fix this???

Nope you have to remove the d3d9.dll file everytime if you want to play mp. For me it`s annoying too but there is no way to bypass that yet. :poker:

Is it really that hard to move the DLL? Lol, since MP side of waw is comptetive it probably rejects any DLL like t4m since it might be cheats

Just set up a batch file or some shit to handle moving it and launching..

More or less. I forget to do that. And I try to launch MP. Then I remember, and take it out.
Then launch MP, and whoopty-fuckin-doo, the servers are botched up. :/
Just annoying af.
And, nah. I'm not about to do something like that, cuz knowing me, everything gonna get all kinds of messed up. Somehow someway. Technology hates me enough as it is. Not risking everything crumbling to the ground over sheer convenience, that's how it always goes down. Not today...
