It is with great anticipation that I present to you a glimpse of my Work-in-Progress mod for the Call of Duty: World at War zombies map Shi No Numa which is called Swamp of the Dead, a direct translation of the original name into English.

The idea behind this mod is to thoroughly revamp and renew this classic zombies with modern and enticing features, to add an entirely new perspective towards the map itself. I intend to enhance the experience the original map provided you and create a way to enjoy this map in a different and endearing way.

Any feedback, suggestions or comments are both welcome and appreciated. I am entirely open to ideas for features to be incorporated. So if you have any idea you would like to see manifest in this mod, feel free to leave a reply elaborating upon it.

Hmm, I'll take it into account. But I can't make any promises considering this would involve adding an immense number of assets to the mod which adds the risk of surpassing the limits set even by T4M.

The Ray Gun is not going to be in the mod. It has been replaced by the Ray Gun Mark II. But Wunderwaffe animations, I'll look into.

apart from that, this might actually be worth giving a crack.

If you don't mind me asking, what did you edit in order to have the ammo counter show as numbers?

Also, I'd recommend editing the Nikolai viewhands in Maya to remove those rectangular-shaped "things" all over his hands. I remember them being on my ported hands as well, even though they aren't there in Black Ops. Great work so far! I'm looking forward to watching this mod progress!

I just tinkered with the hud.menu menufile. Hit Ctrl+F to find references to 'ammo' and you'll see :)

And I'm not sure what you mean by 'rectangular things'? And even so, not sure that Maya would help much considering it would likely be a problem with the material conversion.

Yeah, so if you look at the left hand in the first picture, there are those tannish-looking rectangles or whatever that don't really blend in with the rest of the model. I remember these pieces have their own layer in Maya, so they're pretty easy to delete. I'm pretty sure that they're supposed to be stitches in the cloth of the glove, but for some reason, they get all messed up when the model is ripped from Black Ops.

UPDATE

In accordance with the current trend in the poll I set up, I have changed the Powerup Announcer Quotes to those of Doctor Monty, which are hidden quotes present in the game files of Revelations.

Also, a custom main menu song has been added which was made by M3Creepsta.

So I had a brief look at the map and so far, it looks great! Because of how many features are now implemented I have very little idea of what you can add to it, but if you don't mind there were a few small things I want to point out...

1. Is it possible to add the bo2 drinking animation? Its very little but it would add great detail.

2. Is it necessary to add in the 'RELOADING' quotes? If you want to keep them in that's fine but it can be distracting whilst playing this...

3. Add mule kick?

4. Will you be able to fix that bug when the map restarts by it self?

2. The reloading quotes are not going to be removed although I might make it less frequent.
