Hi everyone! I finally finished my first map and decided to release it into the wild :D it's simply just a remake of good old Counter-Strike map, cs_assault. It took lots of time to finish it but finally it's complete!

Features:

Story:
After Richtofen accidentally uses Wunderwaffe while teleporting, it teleports the team in a parallel universe. They find themselves in a warehouse which belongs to Black Mesa. The warehouse looks abandoned, but they are not alone. There is someone who works (or used to work) as a security guard at the warehouse, but actually, he is a spy who works for Aperture Science Inc. He got attacked by zombies after he and other workers got kidnapped by a group of terrorists. He's the only survivor, and you need to find before he dies to escape, and return to your own universe.

I didn't want to change the original layout of the map so much since i want it to look like the original. Also, i've just got a job so i hope there won't be any more bugs because i won't have much time to work on the map. I'll try to spend my free time on new maps. I hope you enjoy it :)

Pretty sweet map layout, I like that I can get on top of the buildings - definitely not something mappers usually put in but this map pulled it off pretty well.

I'll have SajeOne or MrSlagovich playtest it when they have time and determine if it's ready for the Manager :)

Holy mother of George Romero! I never though this would be good enough for the manager, but if you think so, i'll be glad to see it there :)

Any map which meets the qualifications in this topic (http://ugx-mods.com/forum/index.php?topic=214.0) is eligible to be in the Manager ;)

As long as this map doesn't contain any game-breaking bugs, it meets all the qualifications.

reaching the last-stand area for the buyable ending, how are we supposed to raise 100k when the room has no weapon purchase spots? What was the point of designing this room if we have to teleport in there with 100k already ready to spend?

i thought it would be more challenging, that's why i made that area like that. i migh put another teleporter get players to the previous area so that they can purchase more stuff or i might just put a mystery box there. i'll do one of those as soon as i have some free time after work. thanks for pointing that one.

I don't play that many custom maps but I like the idea.

Finally got to try this out today and have to say, you did a great job here. I think you recreated the map perfectly, and I really enjoyed the nostalgic feel it gave off.

Personally, I did not find any game breaking issues, but I did not go out the way to look for them. I was having too much fun to be honest. :P

Definitely looking forward to more maps from you in the future. Well done! :D

finally played it and i enjoyed it a lot. You got some good potential, and I hope you decide to make some more maps in the future. Never played counter strike but for some reason I had the urge to want to play it after playing this map since its based off of the assault map.

that is a part of the easter egg. you must complete the easter egg to get into that. just look for the radios. don't expect me to tell you more.

One of best maps I ever played. Are you planning to remake other maps ? Maybe CS_Militia ? It would be pretty good for zombie map. Starting in sewers near Counter Terrorist spawn :p. It's a wrost/best idea ever xD ?

thanks mate, i'm glad there wasn't any negative comments about the map :D for now, i'm not thinking of remaking any cs maps since i'm working on my new map, but i'll try to make a tut on how to port cs maps to cod as soon as i have some time from work and school. i'll try to fix some of the things and update this topic as well, so stay tuned ;)

I really enjoyed the map. I did however get stuck like mentioned previously in the thread without ammo so I just had to down myself. Other than that, great map!

got round to playing this and can i say i love the inclusion of the Tardis, always wanted a tardis map or least the tardis in a map - i think a trenzalore map could work as you said on my post, just feature models from DW - some basic ones i think do exist, and perhaps as an EE/endgame have the tardis with the doctors timeline, if you enter it ends or restarts the game - i would play the hell out of this map

though how i love cs_office, i'm afraid i won't be doing goldsrc ports. on the other hand, i'm able to port source maps to waw now and i'm working on the second version of this map.
