Title: Notepad++ config
Post by: daedra descent on November 13, 2013, 03:35:55 am
I'm trying to configure Notepad++ using the tutorial on the wiki, but I can't find the "gsc" option anywhere in the style config:

use gedit. it automatically recognizes the file's syntax and does the correct highlighting.

As another option the UGX Team uses Sublime Text 2/3 which has great UI, highlighting, searching and can be easily configured to recognize any file type and use a syntax with it of your choice via view>syntax>open all with current file type as..
It also has some features no other text editors I have used have such as a distraction free mode, a grouping system, and simple to edit and add code based user settings for extra preferences on top of their menu options.

http://www.sublimetext.com/ (http://www.sublimetext.com/)

The front page of the website will also show some really useful syntax features of the software to make general programming practice faster.
