The original 1.1 version of Kneipe der Untoten can be downloaded in the map manager:

Return to Kneipe der Untoten is a UGX remake of Bar 1.1, the custom zombie map, which W1NG3D released with the help of Tom_Bmx a couple of years ago. This time around it will feature a plethora of new additions with UGX mod features, which include custom weapons, gamemodes, zombie types, and much more! The layout has been totally revised and tweaked, with the addition of a new area to replace the apartment block (it's now bigger and better). Graphics have also been radically overhauled with custom textures, models, and added detail.

UPDATE 10th DECEMBER 2012: This map will be released as a mostly stock 1.4 version initially,. It'll feature all four perks, the Pack-a-Punch machine, a power switch and a moving random weapons box. Note that this version will lack any UGX features, and will pretty much be a basic 1.4 style map (though from testing so far, I find it's still great fun to play solo and with friends).

Later on, a UGX version will be completed, featuring the mod with all its gamemodes, weapons and some custom objective stuff. This will be a totally separate release. I want to release these two versions because while I love the idea of new features and customisation of zombies, I also desire originality and wish to create a map which follows suit with all the original weapons, powerups, perks and gameplay which basically made zombies what it is.

The stock version should be completed within a week (or two at the most), after which I'll do a quick bit of testing and then release for everyone to enjoy.

Since Bar 2 will probably have a few custom weapons, i started to remake the animations for the UMP.45.

Darkmapper is finishing up the notetracks for the UMP and starting on some secret map-related animations now.

I've started work on the Music Player script. It will be a custom script and feature 12 songs.

Yeah, this map will be the first to use the UGX Mod.

As far as progress, I can't speak for W1NG3D as I haven't seen him in 3-4 days but I would imagine we're getting close to the 80% range.

I'd like to apologise for the recent lack of updates, having been kept busy with other occurrences for the past week or so... however all is back on track, and treminaor's estimate of 80% is just about spot-on. I've nearly finished revamping all the old areas of the map, and am also working on extending another area to make the gameplay more interesting (since the original 1.1 was so small).

The UGX mod will be fully integrated into this map, as well as additional objectives which will be put in place - however the focus is not entirely on objectives this time round, unlike Cabin.

I'll be able to post some screenshots of the newly revamped areas soon, and once I've finalised the spawner/zone placement, a video may be a possibility too. :)

Having some trouble getting them to go where I want them to, despite my path node network appearing to be impeccable... might need to rethink some of the spawn areas so that they have less trouble getting to the players.

Apart from that speed bump, all is going swimmingly and I hope that the core map of Bar will be complete very soon - in that state it'll essentially be just a typical 1.4 (Riese) style map with perks, electricity and such, but after that's done I will be handing it over to treminaor who will make some awesome additions with script and implement features of the UGX Mod into the map.

Sorry for the lack of screenshots in this update yet again, because I am not currently happy with the overall appearance (due to the ugly .vision) and lack of detail in the new area.

Glad you're excited! With two mappers and 3 scripters working on UGX Mod and Zombie Bar 2.0, it should be done in not too long!

you know the pool table are they your own models or did u get them from Black ops cause i looked through the BO assest viewer and tried to find and i couldnt find it i might have missed it but is it or is it not

It's our own custom model that was made for specifically for us by a modeler I know. He'll be credited in our map credits.

I think the power switch should be in a more appropriate place. Kinda odd just chillin' on the side of a crate. Other than that these pics are win. :)

Here are some awesome new win images of the map looking a little better than before (in my opinion), this will pretty much be the finalised environment style/atmosphere of the map. I didn't like the dull, washed-out dark lighting setup from before because it was too bland and we've already done that kind of thing with Cabin, so I used the Verruckt .vision and worldspawn setting files as a basis and made some tweaks (as well as added a lot of new detail) to end up with this:

There's still a lot of stuff to do before this can be considered a playable beta release, including additional detail/mapping, scripting all the objectives, sounds, FX, and custom models - as such I can't make an accurate estimation just yet, but I'll try to sort out a timeframe as soon as I can.

Here are some awesome new win images of the map looking a little better than before (in my opinion), this will pretty much be the finalised environment style/atmosphere of the map. I didn't like the dull, washed-out dark lighting setup from before because it was too bland and we've already done that kind of thing with Cabin, so I used the Verruckt .vision and worldspawn setting files as a basis and made some tweaks (as well as added a lot of new detail) to end up with this:

I'll mainly be focused on getting Bar done as well as a few others, but I don't think the entire team will be totally involved.

and also since you have all the ugx mod in comosea, wont it be easy to transfer it to bar?

It'll be fairly easy to include it with Bar, but we'll have to write custom objectives since the ones in Comosea won't really apply to Bar, plus that would be silly to have the same storyline in two maps :P However all the weapons, gamemodes and unlocks you see in Comosea will be available with Bar as well, and perhaps with some improvements as well.

and ik 3 questions in a row, but will the map be as big as comosea?

The map isn't as big as Comosea, if you've ever played the original Bar 1.1, this version is going to be a little bigger than that with a new outdoor area to replace the apartment building. Apart from that there are a few layout changes and of course new detail enhancements to make the map more refreshed from the original 1.1 version which I made quite a while ago.

The site background has been changed in commemoration of transferring our focus from Comosea to Bar v2.0.

how'd you guys come up with 67.2692%? also i think this map would be epic if you made it so it started not raining, but then by round 7 or 10 it starting thunderstorming and stopped at round 15 and so fourth. lastly please make W1NG3D's Chernobyl a UGX offficial map!!

That figure was simply an over-exaggerated estimation of the map's actual progress - I could've simply put 70% instead, but having a rediculously long number seemed kinda funny at the time. :P In regards to Chernobyl, I do want to rejuvinate that project in time, maybe after all versions of Bar have been released. It simply hasn't been worked on for a long time.

As for the background you want, all of the screenshots I uploaded are 1920x1080, so if you right-clicked and copied the image URL into your browser, then go directly to the image source, it should be full-sized :) However I have also taken it upon myself to make a background out of one of my favourite screenshots, so here it is if you'd like to use it:
