Title: just internet troubles.

Hello ugx mods community! Been a while since i've been here lots changed. Anyway i'll just cut to the problem at hand. i was having problems with my internet speeds. im paying for 80mb/s and i'm only getting 10-15. So i bought a dual band router and welp i'm fucked as it gave me around 3.2mb/s at the highest... so ill ask you guys as my internet company is utterly worthless in helping me.

why would u ask us and not an IT forum? u are aware this is a custom zombies site right?

A custom zombies site with top experts in the world. :D

ISPs have a lovely thing called "up to", and their small print/your contract probably states 10-15 being well within their range.

You're probably on cable and if you have a lot of neighbours with high demands you won't be seeing 80. :P

And dual band does not necessarily mean more speed, it just operates at 2.4 and 5GHz.
