Title: Installing GSC Package for Sublime Text
Post by: Tustin on September 27, 2016, 08:50:39 pm
I noticed Treyarch included some GSC syntax files for Sublime Text in the docs folder, so I decided to try them out and it's really useful. Here's how you can set them up:
1) Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty Black Ops III\docs_modtools (or wherever your Steam dir is) and rename "gsc_sublime.zip" to GSC.sublime-package and then continue with step 2.
2) Navigate to this directory: C:\Program Files\Sublime Text 3\Packages
3) Place GSC.sublime-package in this directory
4) Restart Sublime and at the bottom right where you can choose the syntax highlighting, you should see GSC in this list

That's pretty much it. The auto completion will be really awesome when trying to learn the syntax and function names:

I noticed Treyarch included some GSC syntax files for Sublime Text in the docs folder, so I decided to try them out and it's really useful. Here's how you can set them up:
1) Download the sublime-package file I made: https://tusticles.com/bo3/GSC.sublime-package (https://tusticles.com/bo3/GSC.sublime-package)
2) Navigate to this directory: C:\Program Files\Sublime Text 3\Packages
3) Place GSC.sublime-package in this directory
4) Restart Sublime and at the bottom right where you can choose the syntax highlighting, you should see GSC in this list

Note that if you don't want to download the sublime-package from my site for whatever reason, you can make your own pretty easily. Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty Black Ops III\docs_modtools (or wherever your Steam dir is) and rename "gsc_sublime.zip" to GSC.sublime-package and then continue with step 2.

Removed the link, no reason to do that when its bundled with the tools already :)

Do you mind if we add this to our Wiki? You will be credited for the writeup of course.

I think that i didn't set it the right way.
As when i rename "gsc_sublime.zip" to "GSC.sublime-package" it doesn't change the file type it stays as .zip file and sublime can't read it as a package file
And it doesn't show up on sublime
