Title: Texture Glitches with and without T4M
Post by: MakeCents on September 02, 2016, 06:12:45 pm

 - Getting textures stretched across your screen?
 - Models ghosted here and there or maybe even look like balls of paper?
 - Black screen when you start the map and things respond really slowly.

There are a few reasons for this and a few things you can try. Try each of the following until it works for you:

1. Simply try loading the map/mod again
2. Open options>graphics and turn off spec maps (and shadows too if you like) And start the map again (if game is fine, you should be able to turn them back on once in game)
3. Change the screens resolution to the same thing and apply it
4. Restart waw and before loading the mod, open options>texture settings and change to manual, then change the settings to less than extra. Continue lowering until the map plays fine or you hit the lowest setting.
5. Switch to windowed mode. (mostly for the black screen issue)
6. Exit steam. Redownload the map installer. Install the map again. Start steam, then waw, then load the mod again. (only applicable to steam games)

If anyone found something else that worked for them or would like to supply images of the issues and these fixes, please post it here, or send me the links or info to add it.

I find that 4. works 100% of the time for me.

Personally, turning off anisotropic filtering fixes the issue and a lot of cases. (As in, cranking it all the way down)
