Title: Executing a .cfg file through console?

I know this is probably obvious and a very stupid question, but how do I go about executing a custom cfg file when the map starts? Is there a specific place I should put the file?

There are better ways to run most commands other than force executing a cfg. I do not quite remember wich files you could place them in but there was a thread about this before just search the forum for it ;)
