The UGX Mod 1.1 is still in Beta. You have to change the UGX Settings in the menu (choose something in the Weapon Bob Option) to prevent the missing start button bug.

You can only play with 2 players at the same time. This is a bug from the UGX Mod 1.1. I will update the map when a working update is released.
For a temporary workaround type "pause" in the console if you stuck.

The complete map is rebuilded manually. I transferred everything from the Unreal Editor to the radiant. I exported, edited and imported all textures, models and sounds by hand. It took my 3 month of permanent work.

It should work with max. 2 people. There is no workaround for this now. Trem is trying to fix it.

Like other people have said, the second player can't get past the "wiggle your mouse" screen. I also had it skip round 1 entirely, and then I got a server script compile error the next time I started it. I imagine most of these can be blamed on the UGX mod  :poker:

There is actually a way to play 4 people with this mod. Players 3 and 4 have to just type in pause through the console.

This wasn't a bad map, but it has so much potential to be even greater than it is right now...

Here are my thoughts/suggestions:

-There's so much open space everywhere that even with sprinters from Round 1, it's still extremely easy. I understand that that was how the levels were designed in the original game, but I suggest putting some obstacles or something to make it a bit more challenging.

-It would be great if there were atmospheric sound effects for different places in the map. In the PS1 version of the game (I don't know if it's like this in the PC version but I would assume it's the same), literally any area that you went would have some accompanying SFX in the background to match the atmosphere of the area you're in (birds and other nature-like noises outside of the castle, sewer noises in the dungeon, etc.).

-In the original game, some of the paintings inside the castle would open and reveal a small room with a reward for you if you completed some certain objectives. It'd be great to have that in the map if it's possible to do so.

-There were also other hidden areas you could access inside the castle in the original game; this was usually accomplished by going up to a specific bookcase and pressing the "Use" button. It'd be fantastic if this map had something like that.

That's about it. These are just my opinions but the map was still good :)

Played it for a while.
The problems I had was that Some Hintstrings seemed too hidden. at the statue next to the P90 I had to look around in order to activate the button.

I dont seem to understand why there were runners from the start, guess to speed up gameplay for all the open area but its pretty much a B**ch when they can also grab you.

as cyberman said, the open area was too easy even with runners, can you maybe add more debris to doge like carts or maybe a few trees?

Zombies dont seem to run away when downed.

And some prices seemed too unfair to me.

Its going great so far.  What I really liked was how the areas reminded me of the canals district from Blinx the time sweeper:

Really love how you have to explore every room to find more.

Dunno what to do to open the tree tunnels.

really love to see an update.

for those who'll play I really suggest staminup to get around, and there are some pretty good power weapons out there.

EDIT: Forgot to mention I feel small with the benches and the tables, can you make the furniture a little more small?

this map is great! its funny actually i was just talking to my friend on how there should be a hogwarts map if this is beta i cant imagine the final product. may i suggest instead of a dog round in the future keep the theme and do a damentor round (sorry for the misspelling) and an ogre boss zombie from the first movie maybe? and a themed easteregg sorry for throwing suggestions out but i believe your doing a great job so far please keep up the good work and ill see you in the apocalypse :)

Awesome map, thanks for your work, good mapping, details and weapons. I love Harry Potter games  from PSX. 
Maps like this are my favourites with big spaces to run.

after you buy the 2nd door to the across the fountain (In the big courtyard) to the right is a stairwell and up the stairwell is JUG.
... may i suggest instead of a dog round in the future keep the theme and do a damentor round (sorry for the misspelling) and an ogre boss zombie from the first movie maybe?
He could try and re-texture the brutus boss in arcade mode.

After playing this map and beating it, I can finally say that this map was amazing. Besides how easy it was with the open space, certain things make this map really satisfying. Getting the hacking device early on and turning that 10k point door into 200 points made me chuckle  :troll: along with all the other overpriced doors.

Was anyone able to place a turrent? When I bought a turrent I was unable to place it anywhere, I've used turrents in Requiem many times, I do know how to use them. I was unable to buy any more traps after I bought the wire trap. It kinda looked like there where chests to fill but they wouldn't open by zombie souls. Those where the only problems that I could find with it, other wise it was a neat looking map, reminds me of the mario 64 one, I just wish there was more things to do in it.

You both need to change The UGX Mod 1.1 is still in Beta. You have to change the UGX Settings in the menu (choose something in the Weapon Bob Option) to prevent the missing start button bug. i had this to with a friend.

Hey I loved this map, but when i tried to play sharpshooter on it no zombies spawn. Its not a huge issue, but I enjoy playing sharpshooter.

Throwing gersch devices in the cafeteria, hidden areas and the main hall causes samantha to laugh, and purchasing the turret wastes points as no turret will spawn

If you are facing Hogwarts, go to the left and there are a set of stairs leading down. There is a secret door that has the P90 and a Gargoyle in it. Clear the Debris on the Gargoyle, and it will reveal a secret set of stairs that lead to Jug

When i played it i couldn't find the juggernog either. But if you have the big castle in front of you, on your left side you can go to a lower level. Buy all those those thins there. Than go back to the castle. Than on your right side there open's a stair to a higher level. There you will find the juggernog.

could you please explain.. i have read the original post over three times and i still don't understand what am i supposed to do to be to click on the " Cooperative Button " .. i mean it's clearly saying that this map could be played with two players .. but i cant even click the button
I join to 2hmedfhz, i read the original post, typed 'pause' in console, but i still can't press "cooperative" button. Can someone just explain what we doing wrong? This is ridiculous, my friend in his PC has no problems with that issue, he didn't do anything and "cooperative" button works fine....

So i made the mistake off clicking the new options button then enabled controller support when i dont have a controller so now i cant play and if i load up the mod i have to restart bc i cant do anything.

I was having the same problem as that one guy, where the, "Start game" option won't pop up. I turned on the 360 mod and everything worked great, got to round 21 and died (For a stupid reason). Later I went to play Hogwarts again and now my mouse cursor won't pop up and the controller doesn't even work and if it does, the, "Start game" option is gone again. Fucking great map btw. :P

Before you start the mod, go into UGX settings and change the weapon bobbin section to anything. Then it works, it's just an annoying bug.

great map made it to round 35 twice only problem was that opening doors was glitched so you would have to change your position on where you press f to open it

Really well done! I've now replayed this map many, many, many, many, many, many, times. I like how its more open and easy than most because it gives me room for many challenges to do!

This map is fantastic, played it a fair few times now. Just thought I'd drop one issue I have every single time I play though - the statue next to the P90 that unlocks the stairs to Jugg. It takes me forever to find the hit point to buy the statue, as in I will be continually moving from one side of the statue to the other, spamming F at every possible point and I'm not buying the statue. It happens every time I play the map. Could there be a fix to make the hit point bigger? Having real trouble here and if it lead to almost anything other than Jugg, I probably wouldn't bother. Thanks!  :nyan:

It's a glitch with the UGX Mod I believe. If you go to UGX Mod Settings, and fiddle with the Weapon Bob/Sway option it'll come up with Save & Close and then you'll see the Start Game in the bottom right corner of the box when you click SinglePlayer. Hope it helps :)

Great map! Reminds me of that Mario map that came out a while back. Took us a long while to figure out how to get to Jugg and power. Only gripe I have really is that it's way too big and open, so it takes forever and just ends up being boring a lot of the time. But we still had fun! ^_^ I think I might have to delete this map though...  :troll:

After I downloaded this, I went to go play it on waw by launching as a mod from the mod section. After that I went into the Controller options which for some reason wouldn't allow me to use my mouse or keyboard, then i typed in the disable controller code and shit and Still the menu was stagnant. I quit waw and now anytime I open it (without starting any other mods), the mouse indicator doesn't show up and it basically is disabled. I figure that the mouse capabilities got messed up with the controller disable function. This is just awful and I need some help ASAP.

i found out the problem, inside of my config in my profile file, the mouse acceleration code is changed to 1 and it should be zero. change it and you should be good :D

I cannot click on cooperative... I wanted to play this map with a friend but none of us is able to click the cooperative button
- Switching between the weapon bob/sway options does not help
- Typing pause in the commandline does not work
- Adding a default entry for weapon bob/sway in de cfg file does not work

Any other solutions?
