Had the same problem but i figured it out. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty Black Ops and go to your Bin folder ( You have to have the Black ops mod tools ). There, right click on all .exe files and click on properties, select compability and set every .exe file to "run as administrator". Also do NOT run the BO_Mods file as administrator, because ( at least for me ) it doesn't work then.

Btw. can someone pls tell me how to properly use the console ? Whenever i type something in it it just gets repeated in chat and nothing happens, regardless of which command i use.
In MP you have to put a / before the command so try that.
I like the tool the only thing im struggling with is 2 unused bosses to all the BO and WAW maps _zombiemode_ai_boss and _zombiemode_ai_ape but are invisible and can't hurt them any suggestions
You need to manually rip / convert the models and anims using Lemon and Lime, and then include them with your mod. I haven't really messed with the ape boss, but I know that the engineer one functions based on spawners & script structs which literally part of the map. To properly add boss support you'd have to edit the maps themselves which isn't really possible - the workaround (which I assume is what you're doing) would be to change the model & anims of a single zombie via script.

How wodes one in stall a mod for use with this tool, such as Project Thor and Samantha's Revenge?
Project Thor was re-packaged to support game_mod natively, just follow the readme and you should be perfectly fine.just tested it and it works THANKS FOR TELLING!
Samantha's Vengeance is still a legacy mod--so you can install this by tinkering a bit.
go into your mods folder, and create a new folder with the mod name, a la "Samantha's Vengeance".
after that, open the Zone and Main folders inside of the rar, and drag both of them into the new Samantha's Vengeance folder. rename the file "zombie_moon_patch.ff" to "mod.ff", and rename "iw_42.iwd" to "mod.iwd" [not necessary, but just to be safe, right?]
after that, your legacy mod should now be a selection option on the game_mod "Mods" menu.
try putting it in the mod's folder in a video subfolder, i.e. Samantha's Vengeance\videoI tried it but it still means we need to replace gamefiles :(

Is it possible to play other mods while this is loaded ? I tried putting the mod itself in the mods folder and loaded it up with game_mod but that doesn't work... Not working for me, followed the steps, when the map is loading I get the "Project Thor" splash screen, then a Windows error sound & message, had to take picture on my phone as I couldn't even print screen after that.....any ideas?Bad IWD's verify your game cache

Tomorrow I'm going to completely uninstall BO1 , and then delete the BO1 folder in steam, and re download, re download the thor file, and the mod menu file.
Which should I copy into the BO1 folder first? the map, or the mod menu? or doesn't it matter? .
The reason I ask is, if I copy the mod menu over, then the map files, I get a different error when clicking the .bat file to launch, I didn't get a photo of it but it was a LONG error message.
I didn't check, but Iv'e uninstalled, and deleted the BO1 folder in steamapps, gonna re download thor & mod files now.
Will make sure MP is installed.

Well that was a waste of an 11GB download, exactly the same :/ .
No one has answered which I copy over last, the MOD files or the Thor files, the mod files require 5 overwrites, the Thor files 10, is that right?
If I copy over the mod files last, I get the following error message :-

So leave the file extension alone, and change the filename to mod?yes the file extensions "need" to be what the already were

im not sure about protject thor just follow the instructions and it shold work. But nova six dosent have support for game_mod yet.
I did follow the instructions yet loading a mod will bring that error.
good way to load mods but i dont think people will be using bo1 for custom maps

Hey I'm having some issues with the console. Whenever I use the ~ key it opens but whenever I enter the commands it just puts it in the text chat. Any help with that.
